Two AEW Luchadors Continue to Struggle with Visa Issues, Working with CMLL
Two AEW-contracted luchadors are still facing ongoing visa complications that have prevented them from competing regularly in the United States. While those immigration hurdles persist, the pair have been working with AEW’s promotional partner CMLL in Mexico to stay active and maintain their in-ring momentum.
The visa setbacks have forced AEW to adjust booking plans, but the CMLL collaboration offers a stopgap that preserves the performers’ visibility and development. There is no firm timeline for resolution, and both promotions appear focused on keeping the talent engaged until they can return to AEW programming.
