Ospreay highlighted his own milestones — the ricochet match, the Ibushi rana spot, being the first British IWGP Champion and headlining Wembley — arguing that he’s spent 14 years at the top of his field without federation promotion and that fans often forget what happened even a week prior.

While praising the AAA match as “fucking awesome,” Ospreay insisted he’s in his own lane and will keep “making towns.” Ben Allison, who made the original comparison, later clarified he meant the mask vs. mask concept could be written about in history books decades from now, not that it’s definitively greater than any single Ospreay match, and reiterated that he believes Ospreay is “the best in the world” today.
