WWE Auctions Ludwig Kaiser’s El Grande Americano Mask to Benefit Dr. Sonrisas
WWE has launched a Fanatics auction for the match-used El Grande Americano mask Ludwig Kaiser wore at AAA’s Noche de Los Grandes on May 30 in Monterrey, where Kaiser defeated the “Original” El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) in a Máscara vs. Máscara bout that forced Gable to unmask. The hand-signed mask bears frayed edges and battle damage from the main event and is being sold with 100% of net proceeds directed to the Dr. Sonrisas Foundation, which grants dreams for Mexican children facing life-threatening illnesses.
Bidding currently stands at $1,230 and runs through June 25, with WWE and Kaiser promoting the auction to raise funds and awareness for the charity; Kaiser praised Dr. Sonrisas and thanked fans for their support. Fans can place bids via Fanatics/WWE Shop while the piece of lucha libre history remains on the block.
