WWE Files Trademark for Danhausen’s “Human Monies”
WWE has filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (serial no. 99889164) to register Danhausen’s signature phrase “Human Monies.” The filing falls under broad Goods and Services classifications, including clothing (tops, jackets, hoodies, outerwear, bottoms, swimwear, Halloween and masquerade costumes) and an extensive IC 016 listing covering printed materials and paper goods such as posters, trading cards, stickers, books, programs, calendars, temporary tattoos and other merchandise.
The move formalizes Danhausen’s on-screen demand for “human monies” in exchange for removing curses, a gimmick that has helped him become a fast-rising fan favorite since his main roster arrival. With recent high-profile appearances at NBA Playoffs and Finals, WWE appears to be positioning the character for expanded merchandising and cross-promotional opportunities.
