WWE Shareholder Plaintiffs Seek Up to $957 Million in Merger Lawsuit
Attorneys for a class of WWE shareholders say they are owed close to $1 billion following the company’s merger, citing an expert report that places the damages between $466 million and $957 million. The plaintiffs are also seeking interest accrued since the merger closed nearly three years ago.
The figures were disclosed in filings by the shareholders’ legal team and highlighted by Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling, with the expert valuation forming the basis of the class’s claim in the ongoing merger litigation. Plaintiffs aim to recover the calculated damages as part of the broader lawsuit challenging the terms of the deal.
