WWE Shareholder Trial Pulled From Delaware Chancery Court Calendar
A four-day trial in the WWE shareholder lawsuit that was scheduled to begin Monday has been removed from the Delaware Chancery Court’s calendar, attorney Greg Varallo told Bloomberg. Court officials have not disclosed why the case was taken off the schedule.
The trial was to feature testimony from Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Paul Levesque, Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro, as shareholders allege McMahon engineered the WWE-UFC merger into TKO to retain power rather than pursue the highest possible sale value. Defendants faced a recent blow when a judge ruled McMahon and Khan “acted recklessly” by using the Signal app and adjusting auto-delete settings to erase messages.
