AEW, NJPW and MLW Representatives Confirmed for CMLL Grand Prix 2026
CMLL announced key international additions to the 2026 International Grand Prix on CMLL Informa, naming PAC (United Kingdom/AEW), DOUKI (Japan/NJPW) and Austin Aries (United States/MLW) as members of Team World. The event is expected to be a 20-man cibernetico pitting a Mexican squad against international challengers; Titán, Xelhua and Volador Jr. are the first confirmed entrants for Team Mexico, with the match set for Arena Mexico on Friday, August 7.
The Grand Prix format—men’s in August and women’s in October—sees eliminations continue until one competitor remains, and CMLL’s ongoing partnerships with AEW, NJPW and MLW continue to shape its cards. Recent crossover activity included PAC and Titán working last weekend’s Forbidden Door 2026, and past Grand Prix winners include Mistico (2025, 2023) and Claudio Castagnoli (2024).
