Arn Anderson Says He Holds No Ill Will Toward AEW, Praises Tony Khan

Arn Anderson confirmed on his Arn Show podcast that he harbors no ill will after his 2024 departure from AEW, explaining his on-screen role effectively ended when Cody Rhodes left for WWE. Anderson said the planned pairing with Wardlow never developed and that timing ultimately worked against the angle; he also reflected on his role as Rhodes’ on-screen manager/coach and expressed pride in Rhodes’ success. Anderson noted his son Brock’s AEW introduction was “about as good as you could get,” and later spent time in MLW.

Anderson spoke highly of AEW president Tony Khan, saying Khan treated talent first-class and that he “used me the best he could in the situation,” calling the timing simply bad. The 67-year-old emphasized respect for an employer who goes out of his way for talent, adding, “I’ll never say anything [bad] about Tony Khan.”
