Appearing on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive, Austin Theory reflected on his infamous 2022 Money in the Bank cash-in attempt on Seth Rollins, admitting he felt “robbed” when the plan fell flat. WWE creative had him cash in on the United States Championship instead of the world title, and Theory said the moment — including a heated exchange with Roman Reigns at Barclays Center — deserved more payoff, even if he didn’t ultimately win the belt.

Theory also joked about the dented briefcase hanging in his office, quipping “Brock Lesnar murdered me with it,” while acknowledging the shift in his trajectory after Vince McMahon’s departure and Triple H’s creative takeover. Despite the failed cash-in, Theory would go on to capture the United States Championship at the 2022 Survivor Series event.
