Becky Lynch Orchestrates Kevin Owens Reunion to Surprise New Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn

Becky Lynch surprised newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn by arranging a reunion with longtime friend Kevin Owens in an exclusive clip shared on WWE’s social channels. The footage and accompanying photos of the trio — including Zayn sporting a WWE Title t-shirt — highlighted decades of friendship: Owens and Zayn first met on the independent scene in the early 2000s, and Lynch and Zayn have been close since about 2009. “I’m floored by the outpouring of support… I’m honestly shocked,” Zayn told Lynch and Owens in the video.

Owens has not wrestled since April of last year due to a neck injury but has stayed involved with WWE through the Legends & Future Greats program and by hosting NXT’s Great American Bash Tailgate and Watch Party outside the Performance Center.
