Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi

Lucasfilm and Production I.G return to the world of Star Wars: Visions with Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi, an eight-episode limited anime series continuing Kara’s journey from the original “Ninth Jedi” shorts. The English voice cast includes Kimiko Glenn, Andrew Kishino, Masi Oka, Patrick Seitz, JP Karliak, Simu Liu, Young Mazino, Chase Sui Wonders, and Keone Young. The series has a confirmed release date of August 5, 2026, streaming on Disney+ and Hulu (if it still exists!).

WERWULF

Robert Eggers follows Nosferatu with WERWULF, a new gothic horror film from Focus Features starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Willem Dafoe, and Lily-Rose Depp. Set in 13th-century England, the film promises the kind of atmospheric dread Eggers has built his reputation on, this time centered on a brutal werewolf tale. WERWULF has a confirmed theatrical release date of December 25, 2026.

Not Alone

Illumination and Universal Pictures are going cosmic with Not Alone, an animated sci-fi comedy starring Timothée Chalamet as Joe and Selena Gomez as Fran, with additional voice work from Brett Goldstein, Allison Janney, Lamorne Morris, Rob Brydon, Diane Morgan, and Jamie Demetriou. The story follows a rocket mechanic, an astro-botanist, and three alien fugitives who complicate what starts as a charming space-age romance. The official trailer lists an April 2027 theatrical release, while industry coverage has reported April 16, 2027 as the date.
