Kyle Fletcher Cleared After AEW Collision Injury Scare

At the July 2, 2026 AEW Collision taping at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, Kyle Fletcher wrestled ELP and was briefly feared to have been injured after the match when fans reported he appeared hurt. The incident raised concerns given Fletcher’s recent history of time off, but there was no immediate official confirmation of a serious issue at the venue.

Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez now reports Fletcher appears to be fine and that the concern was likely due to dehydration rather than an in-ring injury. Fletcher recently returned at Double or Nothing and competed in the Steel Cage match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door; he is also slated to challenge Konosuke Takeshita for the International Championship on next Wednesday’s Dynamite.
