And he lets us know, “Kenny Omega is the NEW AEW Champion of the World! And here in Roanoke, Virginia, let’s bring in a former world champion. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back Hangman Adam Page!” The fans cheer as their Millennial Cowboy returns home! Hangman goes right to the ring, the fans chant, “Welcome Back!” and Schiavone knows Hangman can hear that. Welcome back, here at home in Virginia, how does it feel? Schiavone hands Hangman the mic so he can say, “Y’know, I, um… I’m a gardener. I live on like an acre and a half in Greensboro now, and for a few years, I dunno, it’s just been my hobby to plant things.

“Mostly, native plants. My butterfly weed is incredible. And I’ve seen finches, and I’ve seen monarchs (butterflies) that never came to my yard before. And I found something, um, beautifully therapeutic about planting a seed. To put a seed into the soil, to take care of it, and watch with time as it becomes something beautiful. I’ve been gone for nearly four months. Cervical radiculopathy is something I wish I didn’t now much about. But in the time that I wasn’t in physical therapy, I was planting. And when I knew that AEW would be in a place that is very much home to me in Roanoke, it was important to me to be here tonight.

“Because tonight, I wanted to plant one more seed. And to be honest, I completely have no idea what this is gonna blossom into, of if it’s gonna grow at all. But I’ll do that tonight.” The fans applaud, and Hangman says back in March, he challenged MJF for the world championship. The fans boo, remembering what happened with that. Hangman says he wanted more than anything for that match to be Texas Death. So in order to get it, I put my opportunity to ever challenge for the world championship again at stake. Maybe it was desperation, maybe it was overconfidence, him underestimating Max, or just something entirely different. But Hangman did lose.

And in his life, he has been a lot of things, good and bad, he recognizes that. But he has always strived to be a man of his word. That is why it was important to be here tonight. He knows the stipulation, it doesn’t live signed in ink on a contract, filed away somewhere in a cabinet, but it lives inside him. And he wanted to let the fans all know that he intends to be a man of his word. The fans don’t like the sound of that, but Hangman vows that he will never challenge for the AEW Men’s World Championship ever again. The fans chant, “NO! NO! NO!” but Hangman says as Schiavone mentioned, Hangman watched Kenny Omega win that title, and that was important to Hangman!

But what was even more important was what Kenny said after (when Dynamite was off air), that you should never quit! You should run the race! And though Hangman finds himself in a strange situation, he looks out and sees miles and miles of empty track laid out before him! The fans like the sound of that! Hangman says there is the TNT Championship, currently held by a former partner of his, and a current dips*it, Kevin Knight! Then there’s the National Championship, currently held by Mark Davis. But perhaps, by the end of the night, held by another former partner of Hangman’s in “Speedball” Mike Bailey!

There’s the Continental Championship, held by a man who Hangman would never turn down another fight with in Jon Moxley! And the International Championship, held by the newly crowned Kyle Fletcher. For seven YEARS, Hangman has defined himself with the one goal that he held above all others. The one goal he held above all to chase, win, and hold the world championship. Now he’s faced with the question: Who is Hangman without the world title? The honest truth is, he doesn’t know. But we are damn sure gonna find out, aren’t we? The fans like the sound of that! Hangman says tonight, he can hear his words after all these years.

Truer now than ever before, Hangman says he will have to find something else to do. And you bet your ass he will! Thank you. The fans cheer that! World title aside, what new gold will Hangman get his hands on in the future?

ROH World Championship: Bandido VS Katsuyori Shibata!

Speaking of titles, The Most Wanted has been fighting and fighting and fighting, and he is still the man to beat in ROH! But will that continue here through this Collision with The Wrestler? Or will Shibata show that The Opps are truly #NeverLacking?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who who turns up the heat in Roanoke!

The bel rings and the two circle. The fans rally up, the two tie up, and Shibata puts Bandido on the ropes. Shibata backs off, the fans applaud, and the two reset. The fans rally again as the two tie up, and Shibata puts Bandido back on the ropes. The ref counts, Shibata backs away again, and the fans applaud. Shibata and Bandido shake hands, the fans cheer the sportsmanship, and the two feel things out again. Shibata waistlocks, Bandido switches to headlock, but Shibata slips through to waistlock and SLAM! Shibata chinlocks, Bandido fights up, and the fans rally as Bandido slips free to hammerlock. Shibata switches, waistlocks, then spins Bandido to snapmare.

Shibata chinlocks Bandido to hold him down, but Bandido shifts, slips free, and has a standing toehold. Shibata hooks Bandido’s leg, drags him down, and has a HEEL HOOK! Bandido endures, fights around, and he goes after Shibata’s leg with a HEEL HOOK! Both men endure, they kick at each other, and Shibata puts on the pressure! Bandido does his best to do the same, but Shibata rolls over, almost making it a Half Crab. Bandido has the ROPEBREAK, and Shibata lets go at 4. The fans cheer as the two reset, and they shake hands again. But Shibata kicks low! The fans boo but Shibata soaks it up.

Shibata whips Bandido to the corner, BOOTS him, then keeps moving. But Bandido follows to BOOT! Bandido runs, but Shibata follows to BOOT! Shibata fires forearms, then feints the run to KITCHEN SINK KENE, PENALTY KICK, then cover! TWO, but Shibata brings Bandido up. Shibata whips Bandido to a corner, Bandido goes up and out to GAMANGIRI! The fans fire up as Bandido goes up, up, and FROG CROSSBODIES! Bandido waits on Shibata, runs up, but Shibata sends him at the ref! Bandido stops short, but Shibata LOW BLOWS! The fans boo as Shibata sneaks one! Shibata CLUBS Bandido, then hoists him up to sit him on the top rope!

The fans boo but Shibata runs to BOOT Bandido down to the floor! The fans boo more but Shibata soaks it all up as Collision goes picture in picture.

Shibata mockingly applauds while Bandido sputters on the floor. Shibata then goes out after Bandido, grabs his legs, and stomps Bandido in the stomach! Shibata then drags Bandido into the ring, stalks him to the far side, but Bandido bails out again. The ref has Shibata wait, and Bandido is still in agony from that low blow. Bandido coughs and sputters as he sits up, but Shibata is there to bring him around. Shibata RAMS Bandido into the apron, then whips him hard into barriers! Shibata has cameramen move aside so he can run Bandido into more railing! Then he runs up and feints the dropkick to BOOT Bandido!

Shibata chinlocks Bandido, then pushes him down. Shibata garbs a chair, winds up, but the ref stops him! Shibata lets the ref take the chair, then he drags Bandido up and fire shots. Bandido fights back but Shibata CLUBS him for it. Shibata puts Bandido in the ring, storms up behind him, then pushes him to a cover, TWO! Bandido toughs it out but Shibata covers again, TWO! And another cover, TWO! Shibata argues the count but the count is fair, and Collision returns to single picture. The fans rally for Bandido but Shibata CLAWS at the mask! The ref reprimands, Shibata lets go, and he CLUBS Bandido again. Shibata eggs Bandido on, then CHOPS!

The fans rally as Bandido rises, but Shibata fires forearms! Bandido fires up, Shibata fires more shots, but Bandido fires back! The fans fire up as they go back and forth, but then Shibata fires a flurry! Shibata roars, Bandido URAKENS! Shibata URAKENS in return! Both men fall and the fans fire up! Shibata stalks Bandido to the apron, then brings him up. Shibata takes aim, but Bandido lifts first! Shibata fights the suplex, but then Bandido fights the suplex! The fans rally, Shibata fires body shots, and he APRON DDTS instead! Then he snap suplexes to the floor! The fans are torn but Shibata brings Bandido back and into the ring. Shibata covers, TWO!

The fans rally for Bandido while Shibata again argues the count. Shibata stands Bandido up, CHOPS him, then eggs him on. Bandido CHOPS, Shibata CHOPS, repeat! The fans “WOO~” with every CHOP, and Shibata CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Shibata runs, but into a SUPERKICK! And another SUPERKICK! Then a pop-up for the military press! The fans fire up as Bandido powers up to SLAM Shibata down! Then Bandido puts Shibata in the drop zone, goes up the corner, and SHOOTING STAR PRESS! Cover, TWO! Shibata survives and Bandido is stunned! The fans rally up, Bandido torture racks, and he flips Shibata for the- NO, Shibata blocks it and DECKS Bandido!

Shibata runs corner to corner, HYDRAULIC DROPKICK! Then Shibata reels Bandido in, HALF HATCH PLEX! Cover, TWO!! Bandido survives again and the fans fire up again! Shibata runs to PENALTY- NO, Bandido ducks the kick! Bandido kips up, blocks another kick, and he CHOPS! Another torture rack, and the X KNEE!! Shibata staggers onto ropes, Bandido deals the cards! BLACKJACK 21- NO, Shibata holds the ropes! Shibata switches, O’Conner Rolls, TWO! PENALTY KICK! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous! Shibata runs, but Bandido springs up to RANA! Cover, TWO!! Shibata runs back in to ROCK Bandido!

Shibata runs, but Bandido LARIATS! Both men stagger, both run back in, and DOUBLE LARIATS collide! Both men go to corners, and Bandido fires up! The fans are with him as he runs at Shibata, but Shibata LARIATS Bandido down!! Shibata reels Bandido in, but Bandido ROLLING LIGER KICKS! Bandido gut wrenches his way to the rack, but Shibata slips free! They switch, switch, but Shibata fires forearms to the back! Bandido blocks the low blow, steps over, LA MAGISTROL! Bandido wins!!

Backstage interview with Hikaru Shida and Harley Cameron.

Renee Paquette is with the TBS Champion, and her challenger later on tonight. She thanks them for agreeing to the No Physicality clause, and brings up said title match. Harley tells Shida that she has to say, it all started with Shida. From Stat to Mina to Willow, everything Shida did to all of them. Now Harley has to say… Congratulations. Shida IS TBS Champion. Shida says yes she is, just as she always said she would be! And Shida did it all by herself! She didn’t need help, she didn’t need friends, and just like she always said, Harley is not on her level! Yeah, yeah, Harley gets it! But Shida was gone for a long time, and a lot happened.

Harley fought her way through wins and losses, through Blood & Guts, and even a broken nose. Shida seems to forget Harley’s been a champion, too. Harley never stops fighting, and she’s never gonna stop, so what makes Shida thinks he can stop Harley? Shida says blah blah blah, shut up already! It’s because T B S now stands for The Best is Shida! Tensions are high again, but who will stand tall with the title after tonight?

Backstage interview with “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

Lexy Nair is with tonight’s challenger to the National Championship, and brings up that given his history with The Don Callis Family, is this match tonight his opportunity to prove something? Bailey says he let Callis get in his head, and he realized that’s a mistake. But he’s gotten some wins since, he’s ready, he’s sharp, and he’s laser focused. Tonight, he beats Mark Davis, and then he will beat the winner of Andrade VS Doyle on Dynamite. And he’ll show everyone, including Kevin Knight, that you don’t need to take shortcuts. Then Bailey will walk into his hometown of Montreal, at AEW Redemption, as THE AEW National Champion!

Bailey heads out, but will he leave Roanoke with the gold? Or will Dunkzilla indeed slam dunk the Speedball?

AEW TBS Championship: Hikaru Shida VS Harley Cameron!

We just heard from the Shining Samurai and the Wild Aussie, and now it is time to back up words with actions! Will Shida still be the Face of TBS? Or will she just #FeelTheWrath?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who survives this Collision!

But then Shida CLOBBERS Harley before the bell! The fans boo, the ref backs Shida off, and he checks with Harley. Harley still wants this fight, so the bell rings. Shida fires off on Harley again, then snap suplexes! Cover, TWO! Harley toughs it out while the fans duel, and Shida dribbles Harley off the mat! Shida makes Harley sit up to look at the cameras, and she mockingly smiles. Shida waistlocks to SWING Harley around and SLAM her down! Harley sputters, stumbles, and goes to the ropes. Shida whips but Harley blocks by holding ropes. Shida ROCKS her, whips again, but Harley wheelbarrows and arm-drags into a takedown!

Harley grabs a leg but Shida kicks and kicks until Harley lets go. Harley goes to the apron, but Shida ROCKS her! Harley GAMANGIRIS in return, and she steps in as Shida steps out! Then Shida steps in as Harley steps out! Shida says she’s too smart, but then Harley steps in as Shida steps back out. Harley blocks a shot to wrench and SOLE FOOD! Shida falls, Harley builds speed, and Harley WRECKS her with a dropkick! The fans fire up with Harley, but the ring count starts as she brings Shida up to DDT on the floor! Harley refreshes the count, then stalks Shida up the ramp. The fans rally as Harley stands Shida up, but Shida pokes Harley in the eyes!

Shida scoops to hit a BACKBREAKER! The fans boo but Shida has Harley dangling off the ramp. KNEE LIFT! Shida fires up, the fans are torn, but Shida looms over Harley as Collision goes picture in picture.

Shida drags Harley back to ringside by her hair! Shida stands Harley up, SMACKS her off railing, then whips her into more railing! Shida rolls into the ring, soaks up the cheers and jeers, and lets the ring count climb on Harley. Harley manages to roll into the ring at 5 of 10, but Shida is right on her with a KICK! Shida puts Harley in the corner, digs her boots in, and CHOKES Harley on the ropes! The ref counts, Shida backs off, then snapmares Harley for a KICK! Harley sputters to the corner but Shida is on her. Shida ROCKS Harley, goes corner to corner and back again, and JUMP KNEES Harley down! Shida snapmares, covers, TWO!

Shida is annoyed but she clamps onto Harley and brings her around. Shida clamps on a chinlock and bends Harley back while Collision goes to break.

Collision returns as Shida whips Harley to ropes, but Harley wrenches and SWINGING NECKBREAKERS! The fans fire up as Harley goes to the corner. Shida runs up but Harley BOOTS her away! Harley then dodges, ROUNDHOUSES, and she climbs up! The fans fire up as Harley rains down fists! Harley goes way past ten, maybe gets TWENTY, then runs to NECKBREAKER DROP! Harley fires up again and the fans are with her! SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO! Harley is frustrated but the fans rally behind her. Harley goes up a corner, but Shida ROCKS her first! Shida climbs up, but Harley ROCKS Shida back!

Harley goes up and over to SUNSET FLIP, but Shida grabs the ropes! And she BITES Harley’s forehead! The fans boo but Shida whips. Harley reverses, Shida comes back, ENZIGIRI! Shida snarls, runs up on Harley again, but Harley blocks the knee! Harley BITES the thigh! Then CLUBS the leg! Shida SLAPS Harley, but Harley CHOPS back! Shida KNEES Harley, then reels her in! But Harley hits the FALCON ARROW! Cover, TWO!! Shida survives, but Harley has the legs! Harley turns Shida over, HALF CRAB! Shida endures, reaches out, but grabs the ref’s leg! The ref tries to shake free but Shida uses that to get the ROPEBREAK!

The fans boo but Shida used that loophole. Harley drags Shida from the ropes, dragon sleepers, but Shida snapmares free and has the cradle! TWO!! Harley has it, Shida rolls it back, ANKLE LOCK! Harley reaches out, crawls forward, then rolls free! Shida comes back, blocks a shot, but Harley dodges! ROUNDHOUSE! Harley fires up, runs the ropes, but Shida TAMASHII KNEES her down! Cover, TWO!! Harley survives and shocks Shida! But Shida just hurries to haul Harley up! FALCON ARROW! Cover, TWO!! Shida is furious that Harley survives again! Shida grabs the leg, HAMMERS away on Harley, and ties her up, STRAITJACKET BOW ‘N’ ARROW! Harley TAPS, Shida wins!

Winner: Hikaru Shida, by submission (still AEW TBS Champion)

But this isn’t satisfactory, Shida HAMMERS and CHOKES Harley for pushing her this far! The fans boo, but here comes Queen Aminata! Aminata is not about to let someone bully her friend! Shida leaves it at this, but will she be the best at being the worst?

Backstage interview with The Lethal Twist.

Lexy Nair is with Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson, and brings up their interactions with The Demand. But then Matt Sydal steps in outta nowhere to say that he and Lethal have been friends for over 20 YEARS! Sydal wants Lethal to know that joining up with The Demand is a mistake! Ricochet steps in and he says hey, if it isn’t his old tag partner, Matt Sydal! He isn’t sure if Kaun & Liona know, but about a decade ago, Sydal and Ricochet were tag team champions in NJPW. But since then, Ricochet’s moved on, and it seems Sydal’s fallen off. Sydal says right, cuz Ricochet’s won a lot of championships since then, right?

Liona warns Sydal but Ricochet says it’s fine. Sydal wants to interrupt everyone, and tell people they can’t trust The Demand. Y’know what you can trust? That the next time Sydal and Ricochet meet in the ring, Ricochet will show Sydal why he moved on from that old musty ass. And uh, right now it’s 6v1, so… Got anything else to get off your chest? Yeah, uh, Ricochet’s bald. Sydal hurries off while the others calm Ricochet down. Lethal says that was uncalled for. Ricochet says it’s fine, they’ll see Sydal around. But will Sydal have his own backup with him when that time comes? Or will The Lethal Twist be in Demand by then?

The Don Callis Family is backstage.

Mark Davis is with Jake Doyle, Trent Beretta and a bandaged Brian Cage as they applaud, and Davis says, “Ladies and gents, your brand new International Champion, The Protostar, the boy, Mr. Kyle Fletcher!” Fletcher steps in and thanks Davis for that. He says it just feels right to be standing here as champion again! And even better to put “that selfish prick,” Konosuke Takeshita, in the rearview mirror. But “Take-chan,” if you ever need a reminder of who the true alpha in AEW is, just come and find Kyle. But that brings us to tonight’s main event! Dunkzilla defends his National Championship against “Speedball” Mike Bailey!

Then Wednesday, Jake Doyle gets his shot at that turncoat, Andrade El Idolo! But before we go on too much, Kyle’s ears are burning. Hangman has been talking about all the other titles he now plans to win, but the Don Callis Family has three of them: International, National, and TNT title. The TNT title is held by Kevin Knight but it’s a title Kyle never truly lost. But the reason Kyle had to vacate the title was because of… The Rascalz?! Well, that’s why tonight, Kyle requested a match: Zachary Wentz VS The Machine, Brian Cage! Trent wants to say something. Yes, please.

Trent asks Darby Allin if there’s something wrong with him! He wants to use EXPLOSIVES on such a beautiful muscle man! If Darby were here, Trent would teach him a lesson himself. But big surprise, Darby isn’t here, he’s off doing motorcycle tricks. Safe to say, Darby Allin fears Trent Beretta! Yes, Kyle says that’s a good assumption. Now, Don Callis isn’t here right now, either, but everything they do is for him! Don Callis Family now and forever runs AEW! That dominance is hard to argue against, but could things come crashing down around the family soon enough?

Last night was the inaugural Brawl in the Ballpark at Target Field in Minneapolis, where Orange Cassidy got a Freshly Squeezed victory over Wheeler Yuta. He, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong are here now, showing off the backpacks and the gold, then they get the mics. Cassidy says, “Hey, uh, did you guys see that Brawl in the Ballpark thing? That was pretty cool. But hey, look at us! We’re still AEW Trios Champions. But there’s still one person in The Conglomeration that also wants to be a champion.” And with that, Willow Nightingale makes her entrance! The fans cheer as The Babe with the Power is coming off that big Casino Gauntlet win at Beach Break!

Willow high-fives the fans, goes to the ring, then high-fives the guys. Willow grabs a mic to say, “Oh, you guys! You guys! You don’t know how much I missed this. Thank you! I love you guys, too! Two months ago, a shoulder injury forced me to relinquish the TBS Championship, and drop out of The Owen. But congratulations to Shida, congratulations to Mercedes. Right? The opportunity was there, and they both stepped up. But yeah, sitting sideline for Double or Nothing, which was an amazing show, and it was in my hometown! It was in New York! Ugh! That absolutely broke my heart. But if you think I was sitting at home crying about it, you don’t know Willow Nightingale!”

The fans cheer, and Willow says she did not defend the TBS Championship ten times just to give up on herself! TO give up on her dreams! No, she wasn’t gonna let her Wembley Stadium dreams go up in smoke just cuz this shoulder couldn’t carry the weight of the world. No, no, no. Ya girl was home working on getting better, working on getting stronger, more motivated, more focused! The fans cheer that! So when Tony Khan announced the Women’s Casino Gauntlet, Willow said that’s her chance! She took that gamble, took that risk, rolled the dice, and now the Babe with the Power has one more shot at the Women’s World Championship! One more shot at Redemption!

But before Willow could even celebrate, Thekla… You blindsided her. And Mercedes left her lying after smashing her with the title. But hey, she gets it. They’re both sending a message. They’re trying to remind her who runs the division. But they both made a terrible mistake. They mistook her smile as a weakness. For Willow, Redemption isn’t about getting even, or even about making up for lost time. For her, Redemption means she is gonna prove that the worst day of her career doesn’t have to define the rest of it! The fans cheer that! Willow says she’ll say it, Thekla has been one hell of a champion.

But two months ago, when this shoulder couldn’t carry the weight of the world, Willow pivoted so that at Redemption, she could carry it around her waist! At Redemption, nothing is stopping Willow! Not the shoulder, not the heartbreak, not bad luck, and it sure as hell won’t be fear! Willow is walking in the #1 contender, but she is walking out the AEW Women’s World Champion! Roddy even hands her a backpack! The fans cheer Willow on, and she says as for Mercedes… She’ll be the one Mone sees at All In! YEEEEEAH! More high-fives and then a group high-five, and the fans are also fired up! But will The Babe with the Power soon be the Babe with the World Title?

Skye Blue speaks.

“Last night, Julia Hart made the ballpark her violent playground. And Willow, don’t worry, you’ll be hearing from Thekla herself. But the Triangle, we operate in our own ways, and you’ll see what that means soon. But right now, I have a message for Megan & Lena. Whatever your little problem with us is, keep it coming. We don’t tolerate pain, we live on it. So you may be tall amazons, but that doesn’t hold a torch to being a Violent Little Thing.” When and where will the Sisters of Sin look to tear down The Divine Dominion?

8 Man Tag: The Death Riders VS AR Fox, Komander & Top Flight!

While Jon Moxley has been on a roll alongside Will Ospreay, he’s ready to get back into the swing of things with Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta. Will they prove the Death Riders still run this? Or will they be stuck on the ground while the Whole Fox’n Show, the Commander of the Skies, and the Martin brothers are cleared for takeoff?

The teams sort out and Garcia starts against Darius. The two circle as the fans rally, and the two tie up. Garcia waistlocks, SLAMS Darius down, then slaps him around. Garcia “kicks dirt” while the fans are torn. The two reset, circle again, and tie up. Darius waistlocks to SLAM Garcia down, then he floats all over, slaps Garcia around, and even copies his dance move! Garcia is annoyed, but he and Darius reset. They knuckle lock, Darius rolls and wrenches to wrangle Garcia to a top wristlock. Garcia fights up and pulls hair to wrangle Darius. Darius headscissors, Garcia moves around, and Garcia pops free to go for a headlock.

Darius slips away, headlocks back, but Garcia powers up and out to RUN Darius over! The fans are torn but Garcia keeps things moving. Darius sidesteps to DROPKICK! Darius then brings Garcia up, UPPERCUTS, and he runs up to UPPERCUT again! Tag to Dante, then Darius rolls. Dante slingshots to whip Garcia, Darius atomic drops! Yuta & Claudio double whip, but Komander goes up, up, over, handsprings again, then BOOTS Claudio! Then he goes up and over Claudio to BOOT Yuta! The fans fire up as Komander goes back to ENZIGIRI Claudio, but Yuta CLOBBERS Komander! The fans boo as Yuta HAMMERS away! Yuta whips, Koamander goes up, up, and FLYING RANANS Claudio down! The ref reprimands, but Dante & Darius get Garcia and Moxley out of the ring while Fox RAMS into Yuta again and again! The ref reprimands but then Yuta TOSSES Fox! Yuta drags Komander around, but Komander BOOTS him away! Hot tag to Dante, and he runs up, only for Yuta to trip him! Spinning toehold! Yuta cranks Dante’s leg, drags him back, and tags Moxley. The ref maintains order as Komander and team protest, but Moxley drags Dante out of the corner. Moxley clamps on a facelock guillotine and drags Dante around before putting him back in the ring. Moxley has both legs, he stomps Dante on the stomach, then turns him over for the HALF CRAB! Dante endures, reaches out, but Moxley shifts things into an STF! Moxley grabs both arms, it’s a STRAITJACKET STF! Then Moxley shifts around again, stands and turns Dante, then ripcords for a CHOP! Moxley drags Dante to a wristlock, tags in Yuta, and Yuta soaks up heat as Collision returns to single picture before he ELBOW DROPS!

The fans boo Yuta but he slaps Dante around. Dante CHOPS, Yuta trips Dante, and Yuta drags Dante around to stomp him down. Yuta spins Dante, headlocks, but Dante keeps his shoulders up. The fans rally for Dante as he endures, but Dante fights up. Dante fires body shots, Yuta lets go, but Yuta runs up! Dante flips up and over! Yuta tumbles out, Dante hurries, but Moxley distracts the ref! This lets Claudio storm in and TOSS Dante out! Garcia & Yuta are there to mug Dante! the fans boo as the Dark Horses get away with it, but then Darius DIVES onto them! The fans fire up as Air Wolf saves his brother!

Darius gets Dante in the ring, but Claudio BOOTS Darius down! The fans are torn, but Komander is on the top rope! He tightrope walks for the SPACEWALK MOONSAULT! The fans fire up as The Ace of Space takes the Death Riders down! Yuta gets in the ring, he tags Garcia, but hot tag to Fox! DOUBLE CANNONBALL! The fans fire up with Fox, he A-LOIST LARIATS Garcia, then ELBOWS Yuta! Fox skins the cat to DROPKICK Garcia and roll, CUTTER on Yuta! Fox avoids a Penalty Kick to kip up and CUTTER Garcia! The fans are thunderous as Fox puts Garcia back in, and he FLIES onto Yuta again! Fox goes right up a corner, takes aim, and he SWANTON BOMBS but onto knees! Then Claudio gets Fox’s legs for a GIANT SWING! Fox goes around and around and around for TEN, but Dante jumps in! Claudio dodges, but Darius is there to give Dante the boost up and over! Then Dante helps Darius with the TORNADO DDT! But Moxley BITES Dante’s face! Then he kicks Darius! DOUBLE- NO, Top Flight double wrench and double mule kick! Darius gives Dante the boost to RANA! Not the cleanest, but Dante still DIVES onto Moxley!

The fans fire up as Darius keeps after Moxley, but Yuta & Garcia go after Dante! The fans boo the Dark Horses but they still don’t care. Darius CHOKES Moxley, but Komander steps up! Komander dodges Yuta, ROCKS and SMACKS Garcia, then SMACKS and KICKS Yuta! Komander fires shots, runs the ropes, but into a DOUBLE FLAPJACK! And a DOUBLE DROPKICK! But Fox is up top to DOUBLE SWANTON BOMB!! Cover, TWO!! Garcia survives, but Fox won’t stop! Fox puts Garcia in the drop zone, goes up top again, and 450- NO, Fox has to roll through as Garcia dodge! But if you don’t believe them, take it from someone who knows. Cage whips corner to corner, Wentz goes up and over, then ducks ‘n’ dodges again to RAN- NO! Cage stops that, swings Wentz back up, but Wentz DUMPS Cage out! Wentz then HANDSPRING KICKS Cage down! The fans fire up as Wentz builds speed, and he DIVES, but into Cage’s hands! Cage tosses Wentz at the apron, but Wentz lands safe to mule kick! And PENALTY KICK! Cage staggers, Wentz goes up, and Wentz ASAI MOONSAULTS!

The fans fire up with Wentz, but Trent creeps up. Wentz warns Trent, but Cage RAMS Wentz into the apron! And then APRON BACK SUPLEXES! Cage eggs the fans on while he looms over Wentz. Cage drags Wentz up, bumps him off buckles, then CHOPS! Wentz shoves Cage, Cage ROCKS him back! Cage pushes Wentz around, ROCKS him in the back, then stomps him in the corner. The ref counts, Cage backs off, and Wentz sputters. Cage drags Wentz up, Wentz fires body shots, then ROCKS and CHOSP! Cage KNEES low, whips him to ropes, but Wentz ducks ‘n’ dodges to handspring, only for Cage to catch him! Cage uses Wentz to do bicep curls, then he FALL AWAY SLAMS! Cage steps on Wentz, the ref counts, but Cage steps off. Cage drags Wentz into the ropes again for a CAMEL CLUTCH! The ref counts, Cage stops at 4, then he drags Wentz back around to CLUB him down! Cage is in control as Collision goes to break.

Collision returns as Cage has Wentz in a fireman’s carry as he climbs the corner! Wentz fights free, goes to the apron, then GAMANGIRIS! Cage stumbles back, Wentz goes up, and Wentz MISSILE DROPKICKS! The fans fire up while both men are down! Trent coaches Cage, but Wentz kips up! The fans cheer as Wentz runs to ROCK Cage! And ROCK him again! And ELBOW! Cage guzels but Wentz breaks free, CHOPS, KICKS, and fires more KICKS! Then a SUPERKICK! Then a DOUBLE STOMP on the back! The fans fire up as Wentz handsprings and JUMP KNEES! Cage is down but Wentz has to hurry to the cover, TWO!

Collision returns to ringside and Kyle Fletcher has joined commentary to watch his real best friend, Dunkzilla, in action. But with as fired up as Speedball is from just moments ago, will there be no stopping him now? Or will the Don Callis Family still dominate the roster?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who really knows ball!

The bell rings and Bailey runs up to RAM Davis! Then he bobs ‘n’ weaves, CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, then headlocks. Davis powers up and out to RUN Bailey over! Cover, ONE, and Bailey headscissors his way into the ARMBAR! Davis deadlifts, Bailey lets go of the arm to land safely. Bailey CHOPS, wrenches, and CHOPS, then LEG SWEEP! Bailey rains down forearms on Davis, but Davis shoves him away. The fans fire up with Bailey, and he fires fast hands, kicks, and repeat! Davis SHOVES Bailey again, then FLAPJACK HOTSHOTS! And a scoop SLAM! And a SENTON on top! Davis snarls, the fans boo, but Davis goes back to Bailey.

Davis drags Bailey up, DECKS him, then paces. Davis stomps Bailey, drags him up, and CHOPS him down! The fans boo but Davis kneeling covers, TWO! Bailey toughs it out, but Davis grabs the legs to turn Bailey over in a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! Davis BITES Bailey’s bare toes! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Davis spits the foot out! Kyle jokes that Davis is a hungry boy. Davis scoops Bailey, RAMS him into a corner, and OKLAHOMA STAMPEDES! Davis then SENTONS but FLOPS as Bailey moves! Bailey then dodges, GAMANGIRIS, and he goes up top! MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up for Bailey while both men are down!

The fans rally for Speedball as he SOBATS, AX KICKS, then KICKS again! Davis stays up so Bailey KICKS again! And again! Bailey whips, Davis reverses, but Bailey dodges Davis to KICK, KICK, KICK! The ref counts, Kyle protests, but Bailey stops at 4. Bailey runs up and BOOTS Davis! Bailey then puts Davis up top, climbs up, but Davis BLASTS Bailey down! Davis reaches down, YANKS Bailey up by his feet, but Bailey lands on his feet to GAMANGIRI! Bailey goes up after Davis now, and SUPER STEINERS! Davis tumbles away, Kyle says catch your breather! But Bailey TRIANGLE JUMP MOONSAULTS! Down goes Davis and the fans fire up!

Kyle is frustrated on behalf of Davis, but coaches him up to shake it off. Bailey SUPERKICKS Davis! Davis stumbles into the desk, Bailey shoves Davis onto it, and Kyle protests! But Davis throws hands from below! Davis stands up on the desk, ROCKS Bailey, and reels him in! PILEDRIVER on the desk! Kyle is the most fired up of everyone for Davis while Collision goes picture in picture.

Davis stumbles but he makes it to the ring. Bailey is still down so Davis rests in a corner. Bailey slowly sits up as the ring count climbs, and we pass 5 of 10 before he even crawls closer. The count is 7, then 8! Bailey springs to life at 9 to lunge into the ring! Davis storms over and reels Bailey back in, but Bailey fights the lift. Davis drops Bailey, looms over him, then fires up to reel him back in! Lift, stall, and PILEDRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Bailey survives and Davis is shocked! Davis storms around, then HEADBUTTS Bailey down. Davis stalks Bailey to ropes, CHOKES him on the ropes, then steps off as the ref counts.

Davis paces while he soaks up heat, then he drags Bailey up to grind his forearm into Bailey’s face. The ref reprimands, Davis backs off, and he looms over Bailey again. Kyle is upset, but Davis avoids the standing moonsault! Bailey lands on his feet, ducks the enzigiri, but Davis avoids the Shooting Star! Davis sets up, but Bailey UP KICKS first! Davis avoids the thrust kick, CHOPS Bailey on the back, but the HEEL KICK finds him! The fans fire up and Kyle is stressing out as both men are down! Bailey rises, and he KICKS Davis! And KICKS again! And KICKS- NO, Davis blocks, BITES the toes, then back suplexes! Bailey manages to land out, but Davis ENZIGIRIS! Davis hurries after Bailey in the corner, grinds his forearm in, then runs corner to corner, SLIDING- NO, Bailey dodges! And KNEE-SAULTS!

The fans fire up while Davis is down! Bailey goes up, up, and SHOOTING STAR SENTON!? Cover, ROPEBREAK!!! Davis survives by fingertips! Bailey shrugs it off, goes to the opposite corner, but JAKE DOYLE is here! Bailey kicks at Doyle, but Davis runs up to LARIAT! The fans boo but Davis drags Bailey up again, gut wrench- NO, Bailey slips through, straitjackets, but Davis powers up to VERTEBREAKER!! Even Kyle is shocked seeing that one! Bailey is still conscious, and he manages to sit up. Davis hits the ropes, and then the RE- NO, Bailey denies the rebound, tilt-o-whirls and victory rolls, TWO!! Davis escapes, but Bailey BOOTS! And HEEL KICKS!

Bailey goes for that straitjacket again to sunset flip and spladle! TWO!!! But then a TIME ADVENTURE!!! Cover, TWO?!?! The fans are thunderous and Kyle can breathe again. Bailey rises again, takes aim again, and TIME ADVENTURE 2!! Then he puts Davis down, goes up, ULTIMATE- NO!! Bailey misses, and Davis SLIDING FOREARMS! Bailey falls to the apron! Davis goes out after Bailey, reels him in, and suplexes, but Bailey knees free! Bailey KICKS, KICKS, and KICKS! Davis LARIATS Bailey back inside, but Bailey LEG SWEEPS! And then back to the apron, Bailey sets up, KNEE-SAULT only gets apron!!

Davis drags Bailey back up, suplexes, and APRON X-PLEX!!! Kyle loves it! Davis has Bailey on the ropes quite literally, and he hits the REBO- NO!! Bailey swings through, sunset flips, and stacks! TWO!??!?! Davis escapes, and he LARIATS Bailey inside-out! Then COUNT TO PAIN!!! Cover, DAVIS WINS!!

Kyle and Doyle celebrate with their brother in arms, the gold stays with the Don Callis Family! But will Jake Doyle be able to play defense against Andrade this Wednesday? Or will El Idolo earn himself a championship opportunity on his own terms?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode of Collision, though a bit of it felt thrown together and therefore a little janky. As great as Komander and AR Fox are, why wasn’t the 8 Man Tag about The Death Riders VS SkyFlight now that they added Sydal? Or is it because The Death Riders were obviously gonna win so they didn’t want to hurt SkyFlight’s power level? We did get a good promo from Sydal with The Lethal Twist and The Demand to help further this story of Lethal Twist and Demand working together. As odd as it’d be, maybe AR Fox and Komander help SkyFlight against Demand & Lethal Twist in a big 6v6 match? Not even sure what that’d do other than fill time on a Buy-In/Zero Hour.

Great promo from Willow in the ring with The Conglomeration, and it certainly makes a great case for her winning the world title. Very good response from Thekla, too, and I like Skye calling out Divine Dominion. Good response to Skye from Divine Dominion, but then Willow wanting a match with Mone & Divine Dominion so soon, that’s a bit random. It’ll be a great match, but I dunno, give us some Heels VS Heels material here. Weird yet still really good promo from Bang Bang Gang where it was half a serious plug for a great charity like Angels of Assisi, but then also them threatening Finlay & Connors one more time.

Great promo from Hangman to address his future, and I knew right away he’d be going for the other titles at some point. Good response from Kyle Fletcher and the Don Callis Family members here tonight. Brian Cage VS Zachary Wentz was a really good match but it was clearly just thrown on so they could give Darby a reason to rush the ring. Him having a match with Trent was also a bit random but hey, Darby needed a win to keep going while we wait on Darby VS Knight for the TNT title. And with that, it was also a great segue into Davis VS Bailey. That was an AWESOME main event, bordered on PPV level, but with Andrade wanting after a title, it was a given Davis would win. That said, very good vignette from Andrade, and he’s certainly winning against Doyle to then face Davis.
