Ciampa KNEES Zach off the apron before he even gets in! The fans boo but Ciampa SMACKS Zach off the desk! Ciampa rains down fists, then he double checks with Paul Wight that Jericho needs to know! Wight says he told Jericho what Ciampa said last week, alright? Ciampa says watch this, and he gets a chair. But then Zach PENALTY KICKS from the apron! And QUEBRADAS off the corner! The fans fire up, but this isn’t even a match yet! Zach puts Ciampa in, then hurries after him. The bell rings, Zach stomps a mudhole, then JABS, JABS, JABS! The ref counts, Zach stops, and he whips corner to corner.

Ciampa reverses, runs up, but Zach BOOTS him away. Zach then goes up and TORNILLOS! Cover, ONE! Ciampa is tougher than that, but Zach keeps on him. Zach brings Ciampa up, but Ciampa throat chops! Ciampa runs, but into an atomic drop, LEG SWEEP, and- NO, Ciampa avoids the kick! Ciampa bails out to the ramp and calls for a timeout? Zach HANDSPRING KICKS him instead! The fans fire up as Zach goes up, up, and CANNONBALLS onto the ramp! The fans fire up with Zach, then drags Ciampa up. Zach TOSSES Ciampa into the ring, goes up the corner again, and the fans rally for the SWANONT but onto KNEES!

Ciampa turns things around on Zach and Zach writhes his way to the corner. Ciampa drags Zach up, to snap suplex him into buckles! The fans rally for “Psycho Killer!” and Ciampa finally takes off his shirt. Ciampa CHOKES Zach with the shirt, but stops at 4. The ref reprimands but Ciampa “apologizes.” Ciampa then stomps Zach, throws hands, and he stalks Zach. Zach fires body shots but Ciampa stomps him down. Ciampa brings Zach up, wrenches and whips, then he ELBOWS Zach down! The fans cheer, Ciampa mocks them with applauds, then he flexes. The fans are torn, but Ciampa goes back to Zach and BOOTS him down!

Ciampa flexes again, the fans are still torn, and Ciampa goes back to Zach. Ciampa CHOPS, whips, but Zach ducks ‘n’ dodges to handspring and JUMP KNEE! The fans rally up, Zach kips up, and he rallies on Ciampa with big forearms and elbows1 then a CHOP! Zach whips, Ciampa reverses, but Zach FLAPJACKS! And deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES! Zach goes corner to corner to SHINING WIZARD, then snapmares for the PENALTY KICK! Zach goes up, up, and BLOCKBUSTERS! Cover, TWO! Ciampa is tougher than that, and the fans rally up. Ciampa runs up, ripcords, and HAYMAKERS! Then the kneepad comes down, but Zach dodges! BODY SHOT, KICK, KICK, and KICK! Then a basement SUPERKICK! And a DOUBLE STOMP! The fans fire up with Zach, he goes up and CROSS- JUMP KNEE from Ciampa! Cover, TWO! Zach survives and the fans rally up! Ciampa nods with a wry smile, and he glances at Wight again. Ciampa reels Zach in, but Zach fights the lift! Zach trips Ciampa to a jackknife bridge, TWO! Zach dodges Ciampa, then GAMANGIRIS! Ciampa staggers, Zach steps out, but into a BOOT! Then WILLOW’S BELL on the apron! Zach dangles there, the fans rally up again.

Ciampa drags Zach out, then lines up a shot. PSYCHO KNEE! Ciampa lets Zach flounder into the ring, and he aims again! Ciampa looks to the camera to tell Jericho that he’s coming for him! PSYCHO KNEE!! Cover, Ciampa wins!

Ciampa gets the win, but he also gets the mic to say, “Tommaso Ciampa… is better… than Chris Jericho…!” Then Ciampa takes eyeliner to make the Pain Maker pattern on his face before he says, “And the Psycho Killer is better than the Pain Maker. One more sleep, and your ass is mine! Montreal, Redemption, it will be VIOLENT!” The fans like the sound of that! But will there be no telling what happens when it is No Holds Barred?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey speaks.

“I have been selected to enter the Six Man Ladder Match at Redemption for a guaranteed shot at the AEW International Championship. I am a two-time Trios Champion in AEW, but I have never held singles gold. Now, not only do I get to do that, but I get to do that in my hometown, in front of my family, in front of my friends, in front of every single person that has been supporting ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey since my debut 20 years ago. In Montreal, they get to see me climb that ladder, get the win, and beat Bandido, or beat Kyle Fletcher, get my revenge on the Don Callis Family, and go onto become the NEW AEW International Champion!”

The Young Bucks VS Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia!

While Matt & Nick Jackson are going to have it out with Will Ospreay & Jon Moxley, they’re going to work their way up the Death Rider ranks by taking on The Decoder & Red Death! Will they be throwing a Superkick Party here in Nashville? Or will these Dark Horses overtake The Bucks?

Moxley joins commentary as the teams sort out. The fans already chant “The, Elite! THE THE ELITE!” as Nick starts against Yuta. They circle, tie up, and Nick headlocks. Yuta powers up and out, but Nick RUNS him over! Things speed up, Nick cartwheels over and keeps moving. Yuta sets up but Nick hurdles over to then WHEEL KICK! Yuta tags out to Garcia, only for Nick to arm-drag Garcia down! The fans cheer the opening exchange, and Nick brings Garcia up to a headlock. Matt tags in as Garcia powers up and out, both Bucks drop down, then they DOUBLE HIP TOSS! Yuta is back, but he gets DOUBLE BACK ELBOWS!

The fans cheer The Bucks and they go to corners, STEREO LARIATS! Then they dosido and LARIAT again! And then HIGH-FIVE BULLDOGS! The fans fire up with The Bucks again, and they have the Dark Horses in corners. The Bucks rain down fists, but Yuta DUMPS Nick out at five! Yuta saves Garcia from Matt, then they mug Matt while the fans boo. The fans chant “YUTA SUCKS!” Garcia climbs up on Matt, rains down fists, and he goes to nine before he puts up his dukes. But then he hops down, no dancing! But then Nick SUPERKICKS Garcia! Yuta leap sin, but into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! The Bucks bring Garcia around, Nick goes out, BUCKLE BOMB ENZIGIRI!

Matt trips Garcia, and CATAPULTS him into a GAMANGIRI! Nick climbs up while Garcia falls back, and DOUBLE STOMP BACKBREAKER! Then Nick DIVES onto Yuta! The fans cheer, Mox says his guys can’t even keep up! The Bucks get Garcia up, B T E- NO, Garcia ducks! Knees hit together, and Yuta FLYING LARIATS Matt! Nick SPIN KICSK Yuta! Garcia SHINING WIZARDS Nick! Matt NORTHERN LIGHTS! Matt rolls, the Polar Express starts up! Yuta runs up, but he ends up in a DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS! The fans fire up and Mox admits, Matt has underrated strength. The fans rally as Matt brings Garcia up to ROCK with a haymaker.

Matt ROCKS Garcia, ROCKS him again and again, then fires up! The fans are with Matt, but Yuta catches him at the ropes! Garcia & Yuta mug Matt, stomp him down, and the ref is stuck arguing with Nick! The fans boo as the Dark Horses get away with all that, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Garcia taunts Nick while he soaks up heat but Mox seems to shout about focusing on the match. Garcia drags Matt up, tags Yuta, and they mug him again. Yuta brings Matt around to throw forearms and haymakers, then he brings Matt around to snap suplex. Yuta goes up, soaks up heat, then ELBOW DROPS! Cover, TWO! Yuta drags Matt over, tags Garcia, and they stomp Matt. Garcia stands on Matt’s hair, then pulls the arms! Matt bridges to alleviate the pressure but just barely. The ref counts, Garcia stops, then he drags Matt up. Yuta flips the fans off while Garcia reels Matt in and KNEES him down. Garcia talks trash, Yuta gets a cheap shot in, then Yuta tags.

Yuta soaks up heat by putting up his dukes a la Garcia. Yuta then CHOKES Matt on the ropes! The ref counts, Yuta stops at 4, and he snapmares Matt down for a KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO! Matt toughs it out, but Yuta tags Garcia. Yuta anchors Matt, Garcia steps on a hand, then he facelocks Matt. Matt fights up, fires body shots, but Garcia cranks on the facelock! Collision returns to single picture as the fans rally up for Matt. Matt fires body shots, Moxley tries to give tips on that facelock, but Matt is free. Only for Yuta to trap him again! Garcia runs up, but Matt slips free, Garcia BLASTS Yuta down! Garcia hurries to BLAST Nick!

Garcia storms back over, tags Yuta, and Garcia taunts Matt. Matt fires hands on Garcia and Yuta! The fans fire up but Garcia wrenches to then lift Matt up! Yuta wheelbarrows, and Garcia fires those UP KICKS, then BOOT WHEELBARROW GERMAN COMBO! Bridging cover, TWO! Matt survives but Yuta tags Garcia. The Dark Horses put Matt in an open corner, then Yuta sends Garcia in for a LARIAT! Yuta adds an ELBOW, but the Cycle of Violence doesn’t last long as Matt dodges! Then Matt cravats Yuta, and kicks off Garcia to SLICE BREAD! Then a fake out into a DDT! The fans fire up as Nick and the Dark Horses are down! Matt cralws, hot tag to Nick!

Nick goe sup, CROSSBODY! Nick fires haymakers on The Dark Horses, but they kick back! The Dark Horses double whips, but Nick handsprings through the double hip toss to then give them a meeting of the minds! Nick runs and DOUBLE LARIATS! The fans fire up with Nick, and he SHINING WIZARDS Yuta in a corner! Then GAMANGIRIS, ROCKS, and hoists Yuta up. Garcia puts Nick on the apron but Nick ENZIGIRIS! Nick goes up, DOUBLE STOPM on Garcia, somersault and DRAPING BACKSTABBER on Yuta! The fans fire up again and Nick tags Matt! The Bucks each go up a corner, and the fans cheer as they SWANTON MACHO ELBOW IN STEREO! Cover, TWO!!

The fans fire up while Moxley talks trash on the “tassels flapping in the air like a Sunday airshow.” The Bucks call their shots, though, and they mule kick! Mule kick! SUPERKICK! SUPERK- NO, Yuta blocks one to send it into Matt! Yuta ROCKS Nick, runs, but into a SUPERKIOCK! Yuta rewinds, slips around, but Nick switches! Yuta BOOTS Matt, switches back, but Nick BOOTS Garcia! Garcia comes back, Nick BACKDROPS him away! Nick switches, and Matt’s back, but Yuta ducks, only for Matt to leap over! SUNSET FLIP GERMAN! Garcia is back, but he gets DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! And the B T E TRIGGER!! Cover, YUTA BREAKS IT!

Moxley says that as their best shot, they’ve got nothing else! But then Nick PENALTY KICKS Yuta! Matt gut wrenches Garcia, but PAC rushes out here! He distracts the ref while Claudio YANKS Nick down! Garcia LARIATS, Yuta ELBOWS, repeat! The Cycle of Violence is rolling, but then Claudio slips in! POP-UP UPPERCUT on top! Cover, TWO?!? Moxley shouts to stay on ’em! Garcia steps through, DRAGON TAMER! But Nick SUPERKICKS Yuta! And SUPERKICKS Garcia! Claudio distracts now, and Pac BOOTS Nick! But then Christian Cage YANKS Claudio down, and LOW BLOWS him! Pac is stunned, but then Cope SPEARS him!

The fans fire up as Cope & Cage get Claudio & Pac outta here! Moxley is a bit flustered but he says stay on task! Garcia clinches, Yuta runs, but Nick trips hm! Matt backslides Garcia, TWO! Feed to a shoulder tackle! SLINGSHOT FACEBUTSER! CARTWHEEL MOONSAULT! And then they try this again, MELTZER DRIVER!! Cover, Bucks win!

Moxley is upset that the numbers game was thwarted, but he says they can brush it off. But then The Bucks step outside and stare Moxley down. Moxley says don’t act like they want some right now. But then HIDDEN BLADE OUTTA NOWHERE!! Matt is shocked, and Moxley gets him with a kick! PARADIGM SHIFT on the floor! The Aerial Assassin indeed struck like an assassin, but it’s hard to say he’s happy about it. Garcia & Yuta appreciate it, though. But with just 24 hours left, will Sunday be The Bucks’ Redemption? Or will Ospreay & Moxley take down The Bucks before Ospreay goes after Kenny Omega?

Persephone VS Angelica Risk!

The CMLL Women’s World Champion is back on AEW, ready to continue where she left off. But is she taking on too much of a risk returning this close to Redemption? Or will the 1FW Women’s Champion get one big W on Collision?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Perse mocks Risk being tiny, then pie faces her. Then shoves her! Then SLAPS her! Risk swings, but into a SAYANAGI! Perse steps over, drags Risk around, then just HAMMERS away! The ref reprimands about the hair pulling, Perse shoves Risk down to argue with the ref, but Risk rolls her up! Perse rolls through and DROPKICKS Risk down! Perse gets mad now, and she SLAPS Risk! Perse talks trash on Risk in the ropes, CHOKES her, but the ref reprimands. Perse shoves Risk down at 4, argues with the ref, then revels in the cheers. Perse runs up, but Risk BOOTS her away!

Risk trips Perse, jackknife bridges, ONE as Perse rolls things over! Canadian Rack, and crucifix for the CRUCIFIX BOMB! High stack, Perse wins!

Backstage interview with Athena and MIT, “Minions In Training.”

Lexy Nair is with The Fallen Goddess, as well as Billie Starkz & Diamante, and brings up that last week, they had a run in with The Brawling Birds. Athena says when it comes to Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor, she loves how they think they’re so brave flipping Athena the bird. But when MIT is ready for a fight, The Birds have flown the coop! Ain’t that right, “Diabla?” Diamante says yeah, and as far as she’s concerned, when it comes to Alex & Jamie, she’s got a bullet for two birds. Billie thought it was two birds, one stone? Athena sighs, and tells Billie to read the room! That’s not what they’re here for! They’re making a point!

And the point is this: When those two dumb, dafty ducks are done playing chicken, just know that MIT is waiting to whoop dat ass. ROLL OUT, MINIONS! They follow Athena out, but will Minion 400,237.75 and The Cuban Diamond help the Forever Champion fry up some Birds?

Things are heating up in the joint AEW-ROH Trios Division, and while the champions of both brands are battling later tonight, everyone else is saying they’ve got next. But will Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson stake their claim to some gold tonight? Or will Scorpio Sky, Matt Sydal & Dante Martin be flying high over Nashville?

Commentary has quite a few guests for this one, as The Demand sits on one side and Double J, Jeff Jarrett, sits on the other. Ricochet does not think Jarrett is so great, he prefers sitting with Nigel McGuinness. The trios sort out and Sydal starts against Lethal. Ricochet says good thing this isn’t against The Demand or his guys would be dog walking Sydal already. The fans rally for Sydal as he circles with Lethal. The two tie up, Sydal goes for a leg, but Lethal headlocks. Sydal powers up and out but Lethal RUNS him over! Ricochet argues with Jarrett about Lethal’s choices while Lethal struts. The Swirl struts with him, then things speed up.

Sydal goes to hip toss but Lethal blocks. Lethal wags his finger and says, “I don’t think so!” But Sydal ducks the lariat to then shout, “Oh, I do!” as he RANAS! Lethal flounders, Blake tags in, but Sydal RANAS Vanilla Baby! Sydal runs up, ELBOWS Blake, then tags Scorpio. Scorpio brings Blake, wrenches and wristlocks, but Blake wrenches to SOBAT! Tag to Big Shotty, but Scorpio dodges Lee Johnson to sweep, cover, ONE! Lee is up but Scorpio arm-drags him down! Lee fights up, but Dante tags in as Lee whips Scorpio. Scorpio comes back to whip Lee into Dante’s JUMP KNEE! Angel Dorado then runs to SOMERSUALT SENTON! Cover, but The Twist attacks!

Ricochet says that’s right! His guys for the save, because that’s what they do, they take care of each other. Scorpio and Sydal go after them but The Twist gets the edge. The Twist all runs, but into TRIPLE DROPKICKS! The fans cheer as The Twist tumbles out! Sydal, Scorpio & Dante aim, DOUBLE PLANCHAS and a DIVE! Down goes Lee into the desk while Lethal and Blake are down at ringside! Ricochet says don’t you come over here or they’ll smack you right in the mouth. The ref has The Demand back down while Dante drags Lee up, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Dante puts Lee in the ring, then slingshots to MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Dante keeps on Lee with a buckle bump, then tags Scorpio. Scorpio brings Lee up to UPPERCUT, then he brings Lee out to SOBAT! Scorpio runs, but Lee reels him in. Scorpio ELBOWS free, then whips, but Lee reverses, and Lethal gets a cheap shot in! Scorpio DECKS Lethal, but Lee LARIATS Scorpio! Tag to Blake, and The Swirl whips Scorpio to a corner. Lee runs up to CHOP LARIAT, then he runs up to Blake, MONKEY FLIP LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Blake is annoyed but Scorpio’s tougher than that. Blake drags Scorpio up, puts him on the ropes, then CHOKES him!

The ref counts, Blake backs off, and Blake brings Scorpio around. Blake bumps Scorpio off buckles, then stomps a mudhole. The ref counts, Blake argues with the ref, but that lets Lethal & Lee CHOKE Scorpio! The Twist gets away with that one, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns as Blake has Scorpio trapped in a Tree of Woe. Lethal bails out while Sydal runs up, and Blake puts Sydal on the apron. Blake traps Sydal with a headscissors, Lee DROPKICKS Sydal down! Blake then runs to BASEMENT 619 Scorpio, Lee DROPKICKS Scorpio, then Blake ASAI MOONSAULTS onto Sydal! The fans fire up as that was an impressive combination. Christopher Daniels coaches his team up but Lee bumps Scorpio off buckles. Lee stomps away on Scorpio, tags Lethal, then Lethal drags Scorpio up to whip and ELBOW! Lethal does the Fargo Strut, the fans “WOO~,” and Ricochet says take notes, Jarrett!

Lethal runs to basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Lethal tags Blake while he anchors Scorpio, and Blake stomps Scorpio down. Blake snapmares, KNEES Lethal in the back, then ELBOWS Scorpio in the head! Tag to Lethal, Lethal stomps away on Scorpio’s leg, then steps through. Scorpio BOOTS free, but Blake tags in! Blake grabs a leg, stomps away, then says ‘WOO~!” But Scorpio BOOTS Blake away, too! Lee tags in, he gets the legs, but Scorpio cradles him! TWO, and Scorpio dodges, hot tag to Dante! Dante DECKS Lee, JUMP KNEES Lethal, then JUMP KNEES Blake! The fans fire up with Dante and he whips Lee to a corner> Lee reverses, runs up, but Dante slips outside! Lee hits buckles, Dante goes up and over to GAMANGIRI! Then he springboards to CANNONBALL! Fox dodges, runs up, but Nick puts him on the apron. Fox BOOTS Nick, goes up, and rolls to RANA! Nick gets up, but Fox slips around, spins Nick, then drop toeholds him onto ropes! Fox then slingshots and somersaults to NECKBREAKER! The fans fire up for Fox, and he runs up on Nick. Nick KNEES Fox away, then runs up to TOSS him out! Nick brags, but Fox is on the apron! Collision returns as Nick stands on Fox on the apron. The fans boo, the ref counts, but Nick steps off. Nick scuffs Fox, then brings him up, but Fox breaks free! Nick ducks a shot, waistlocks, but Fox holds the ropes! Fox trips Nick, Nick kicks free, but Fox returns, somersault and facelock to ANARCHY on the floor! The fans fire up for Fox as he manages to stand and walk it off. Fox puts Nick back in the ring, then steps in so he can roll Nick, tuck him in, and POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO! Nick survives and Fox is surprised, but the fans rally up again. The fans rally, Fox runs up and ELBOWS Nick in the corner.

AEW World Trios Championships: The Conglomeration VS Dalton Castle & The Outrunners!

Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong may have just found a trio as eclectic and eccentric as they are as they now face the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions! Will tonight’s Word of the Day be “Bangarang?” Or will Cassidy, Kyle & Roddy make sure Collision is Freshly Squeezed?

The introductions are made, the AEW titles are raised, and we see who is truly the best trio in the game today!

The trios sort out and Cassidy starts against Truth Magnum. The fans rally up already as Cassidy and Truth circle slowly. They tie up, and Truth SHOVES Cassidy down. Truth flexes, the fans cheer, and Cassidy nods some respect. Cassidy and Truth reset, circle again, and they tie up again. Truth SHOVES Cassidy again, then Truth flexes. The fans applaud, Kyle & Roddy coach Cassidy up, and the two reset. Then Cassidy avoids the tie-up to put his hands in his pockets! The fans cheer, but Truth headlocks. Cassidy powers up and out but Truth RUNS him over! Truth flexes again, then headlocks. Cassidy powers up and out again, then slips through to duck ‘n’ dodge and SHOTGUN!

The fans cheer as Cassidy kips up, and Castle calls to Truth.  Cassidy lazy flexes! Truth says this is how you flex! They both flex, the fans cheer, but then Roddy & Kyle lift Cassidy up! So Turbo & Castle do the same! The fans cheer as we get a game of chicken! The ref reprimands, this is 1v1! Cassidy and Truth are set down while the fans cheer. Everyone shakes hands, but then they all brawl! “This is Awesome!” but the ref is upset! Castle & Turbo TOSS Roddy & Kyle, then The Outrunners mug Cassidy! Oh no, Turbo’s title belt starts falling off! Everyone here knows, #TheBeltStaysOn! Truth puts Cassidy in a corner while Turbo straps up.

Truth tags Turbo, The Outrunners wrench then tag again. They whip Cassidy, BODY SHOT, Truth KNEE LIFTS, and then Turbo hits a BIG back suplex! The fans cheer as Castle helps Turbo get that belt back on, and Collision goes picture in picture.

The ref reprimands but Castle asks for some patience, this belt is being stubborn. The strap is secure, everyone cheers, and then Truth BLASTS The Conglomeration! Turbo sends Castle in but Cassidy TOSSES him out! Cassidy DUMPS Turbo out, but Truth SPLASHES! Truth climbs up, he rains down fists, and he goes all the way to TEN! But then Kyle is there to KICK Truth’s leg! Kyle climbs up and rains down fists! Kyle goes all the way to TEN, but then Turbo YANKS Kyle down! Turbo goes up, and he rains down fists! Turbo goes all the way to TEN, flexes, but Roddy is in! Roddy CHOPS Turbo, climbs up, and he rains down fists quickly, to TEN!

Castle YANKS Roddy down, ROCKS him, then climbs up! Castle rains down fists, all the way to TEN! Cassidy is back, and he YANKS Castle down! Cassidy climbs up, and he winds up, for… Wait… ONE!! Cassidy and the fans all cheer as Collision returns to single picture! Cassidy then DIVES onto Castle! The fans chant “This is Wrestling!” Cassidy puts Castle back in, but then The Outrunners CLOBBER Cassidy! Then The Outrunners high-ten, build speed, but then step outside to DOUBLE AX HANDLE! The fans cheer and even high-five The Outrunners, but then Roddy WRECKS Turbo and Kyle FLYING KNEES Truth!

The Conglomeration goes after Castle but he CHOPS, CHOPS, runs, but into a KICK! Roddy puts Castle in a corner, he and Kyle CHOP and KICK on repeat! Roddy sends Kyle in for a FOREARM SMASH! Kyle sends Castle to Roddy for a scoop! Cassidy is up top, but then he hops down, and hops down, and then hops down again, for the ELBOW DROP! The fans fire up all the same! Cover, but The Outrunners break it! Roddy CHOPS Truth, Kyle fires off on Turbo, then they get Cassidy to safety. Roddy tags in, but he weaponizes Cassidy! He THROWS Cassidy into Truth, then sends him into Turbo! Then a scoop and Roddy SMACKS Castle with Cassidy!

Roddy SMACKS Turbo with Cassidy, RAMS him into Truth, then DROPS him on Castle! Roddy covers, TWO! Tag to Kyle and he brings Castle up for KNEE after KNEE! Castle ELBOWS back, then tags Truth! But Kyle KNEES low! Kyle dodges Truth, KNEES him, but then Turbo CLOBBERS Kyle! Turbo BLASTS Roddy & Cassidy, whips Kyle, but Kyle reverses to KITCHEN SINK KNEE, but into the belt! The fans cheer, but then Roddy CHOPS Turbo! And CHOPS! And CHOPS the belt! Turbo then runs up to DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up with Turbo, but he avoids Cassidy. Turbo BOOTS Cassidy, goes up, and leaps, but Cassidy steps back!

Cassidy “kicks” away on Turbo’s legs! The fans cheer, but Truth is in! Truth whips Cassidy, but Cassidy avoids the belt! Cassidy says, “That was close, huh?” But Turbo scoop SLAMS Cassidy! Then they wind it up! The fans cheer, and “YOU SONOVABISH!” Double bicep handshake and DOUBLE ELBOW DROP! Cover, Kyle breaks it! Truth fires off on Kyle but Kyle KNEES Truth, then AX ‘N’ SMASH! Castle is in and he catches Kyle for an EXPLODER! The fans fire up for Castle, but Roddy is in! Roddy ROCKS Castle, Turbo kicks Roddy! Turbo scoops, Roddy slips free, ANGLE SLAM! ROLLING- NO, Castle catches Roddy for an EXPLODER!

Cassidy is back, elbow pad is off! Castle dodge the Orange Punch and shoves Cassidy away. Cassidy goes up, out, and bumps Castle off buckles! Then Cassidy goes up, DEEP- No, Castle stops the DDT, swings, but the SATELLITE DDT connects! Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, but Turbo rolls Cassidy up! TWO, and Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges! Tilt-o-whirl and- NO, Turbo turns DDT into a cradle! TWO!! Turbo leaps, sunset flips, but Cassidy stays up! And sits on the cover, with hands in pockets! Conglomeration wins!

It was quite the battle between champions, but just as Turbo’s belt stays on, these AEW Trios titles stay with The Conglomeration. However, they’ve now got to turn right around, because the Redemption Buy-In will see The Conglomeration defend these titles against The Lethal Twist! Will Ricochet & The Demand have a hand in Lethal, Blake & Lee winning gold? Or can Cassidy, Kyle & Roddy overcome those odds? Oh, but speaking of, The Lethal Twist AND Demand rush back out here, all to attack the champions! The fans boo as Ricochet’s side gets the advantage on Conglomeration, Peacock & Outrunners!

Jarrett says enough of this! The Last Real Outlaw steps into the ring, but Ricochet CLOBBERS him right back out! Ricochet does the strut, but Conglomeration’s side turns the tide! The fans cheer has they have Ricochet all alone! ORANGE PUNCH on The One & Only! The fans cheer as Jarrett is in now, and he has a guitar! SMASH HIT for Ricochet!! The fans cheer, Roddy plays a tune on what’s left of the guitar, but Demand & Twist get Ricochet outta there. Will The Conglomeration stay on top with their friends watching their backs?

“Jungle” Jack Perry speaks.

“My mission is to become the AEW World Champion. But when an opportunity falls out of the sky, you take it. And this Sunday, by the luck of the draw, I am in the Six Man Ladder match at Redemption for a shot at the AEW International…” Jack trails off as Nick steps in. Nick says, “Wow. How ironic, Jack Perry talking about opportunities falling out of the sky. You see, that’s the difference between you and me, Jack! Opportunities are always ‘falling out of the sky’ and landing right in your lap. But for someone like me, since I was 9 years old, I had to chase opportunities, take them, and run with them. And clearly, not one opportunity of mine has flopped.

“So this Sunday, not only am I gonna climb the ladder and become the #1 contender for the AEW International Champion, but I’m gonna hurt you in the process, and show you what a ‘Young Pillar’ is supposed to look like.” Jack says he’s actually proud of Nick. Nick earned his opportunity, by himself. But he’ll have to do more of that now that he doesn’t have his Sugar Daddy anymore. See you Sunday, make the most of it. Jack pats Nick on the cheek, then leaves, but Nick says you know he will. Which young star shines brightest in Montreal?

AEW International Championship #1 Contender’s Ladder Match Qualifier: Lio Rush VS EL CLØN!

Speaking of that ladder match, the final spot in that match is up for grabs! But will the Black Heart take one step closer to another title? Or will the Corrupted Copy soon “update” himself with this golden opportunity?

The bell rings and the fans cheer Lio. Lio smiles, but then Clon distracts him with the hands turning sideways for the C. Clon then kicks low, whips, but Lio redirects, redirects, and slingshots to whip! Clon handsprings, and he takes off the visor! The fans cheer Clon’s wild eyes, but then Lio CHOKES Clon! Clon breaks free, but Lio CHOPS! The fans cheer, Lio whips, but Clon reverses, only for Lio to block the chop! Lio BITES Clon’s hand! The ref reprimands, Clon shoves free, and Clon denies the cutter to then SCORPION KICK and clinch. Lio fights free, dodges Clon, and Clon tumbles out. Lio HANDSPRING KICKS him down!

The fans fire up as Lio brings Clon out, and DRIBBLES him off the desk! Lio then puts Clon in the ring, runs, redirects, and LARIATS! The fans cheer, Lio covers, TWO! Clon stays in this, and Lio sees the blood coming from his own eyebrow. Lio shakes his head, puts Clon up top, then climbs up. But Clon kicks the legs out! Clon ties Lio’s arm up with the tag rope! The ref reprimands, but the fans chant “It’s Fine! It’s Fine!” Clon taunts Lio, then runs to BOOT Lio! The ref reprimands and tries to free Lio, but Clon runs to BOOT Lio again! Clon climbs up, taunts with the C, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Clon paces while Lio is freed from the tag rope. Clon kicks Lio around, drags him up, and CHOKES him on the regular ropes! The ref reprimands but Clon just climbs up! The ref counts, Clon backs off, and he brings Lio back up. Clon CHOPS Lio in a corner, then CHOPS again! Lio staggers, Clon stalks him, but Lio shoves and CHOPS! Clon kicks low, CHOPS again, then puts Lio in a corner. Clon whips corner to corner, runs up, but Lio BOOTS him away! Clon goes Matrix, and he SPEARS Lio! Cover, TWO! Lio is still in this, but Clon kicks him around. Clon has Lio in the ropes, stands on him, but the ref counts. Clon steps off at 4, then wraps Lio’s arm in the ropes!

The ref reprimands and counts, Clon stops at 4, and he pretends to smile while Collision goes to break.

Collision returns as Clon whips Lio but Lio reverses. Lio runs up, Clon goes up and over, but Lio disrupts the Matrix to then POWERBOMB and SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Clon survives, but Lio says time to go up! The fans cheer and Lio climbs. The fans cheer more, “Up! Up! Up!” FINAL- NO, Clon avoids the Final Hour, then goes up and over again! Matrix PELE! Then Clon whips, scoops, and LUMBAR CHECK! Lio writhes, Clon covers, TWO! Lio survives and the fans cheer him on! Clon is annoyed but he grabs at Lio. Lio STUNNERS first! Clon rebounds, Lio dodges, dodges, and cartwheels! Lio bobs ‘n’ weaves to fire fast hands!

Lio rolls Clon, kips up, and ENZIGIRIS! The fans fire up while Clon bails out! Lio then starts up the gremlin run! And he DIVES into Clon! Down goes Clon, the fans fire up again, and Lio puts Clon back in! “It’s time to go for a ride!” Lio runs, RUSH HOUR! Cover, TWO! Clon survives, but Lio stays focused. Lio drags Clon up into a cravat, but Clon powers out! Clon SWATS, ROLLING ELBOWs, tnhen SOBATS and steps over! Clon lifts, POWER KNEE, then a whip! But another RUSH- NO, Clons tops the Rush Hour to SCORPION KICK, and then the hook into the lift! Lio fights, victory rolls, TWO! Clon rolls, and grabs the ropes! CLON WINS!!

But then Clon has to add insult to injury as he stomps away on Lio! The fans boo, but Clon rains down fists! Clon CHOKES Lio, but here comes Speedball! The fans cheer as Bailey drags Clon up, dodges him, and THRUST KICKS! Clon tumbles out, but now Komander is here! And he goes up, up, and ARIHARA MOONSAULTS! Down goes Clon and the fans fire up! Then Komander and Bailey stare down, both men ready for that ladder match. Who proves they can reach the highest of heights with Redemption?

AEW hears from The Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs.

Juice Robinson holds up the chains as he says, “It’s gonna be this Sunday at Redemption, a Double Chain Tag Team Match! The Dogs against The Bang Bang Gang!” Jay White says David Finlay’s been following him around like a stray pup the last 11 YEARS! At long last, Finlay followed White to the Land of the Elite. And if there’s something Jay White is truly better at than anybody, it’s beating David Finlay! But then the Rebel can’t believe White & Juice wanna be chained to The Dogs?! Do they not get it? Do they not know who they’re dealing with? The Dogs have left blood, sweat, tears, and bodies! But Juice says The Dogs are being chained up and eatin’ steel all night!

White says what matters is teaching The Dogs a lesson! They will tuck tail and piss puddles! Finlay says when there’s bodies on the line, who better to call? Will it be #GunsUp as they put The Dogs down? Or will these still be the Dog Days of Summer?

Willow Nightingale & Maya World VS Thekla & Hikaru Shida!

The Babe with the Power challenges The Toxic Spider for the AEW Women’s World Championship, and #ThatGirl challenges The Shining Samurai for the AEW TBS Championship. Therefore, it was only natural for Willow & Maya to team up against Thekla & Hikaru! With only 24 hours left, will Willow & Maya have all the momentum going into the PPV? Or will they have to accept the loss and #SmileAnyway?

The teams sort out, Maya starts against Shida, and Shida fires off the moment the bell rings! Shida HAMMERS away on Maya, then suplexes her! Cover, ONE!! Maya hurries away, Shida runs up on Willow, but Willow gets away. Willow checks on Maya, but Thekla CLOBBERS them both! Shida goes outside, Thekla HAMMERS away on Maya while Shida goes after Willow. Thekla SMACKS Maya off the apron but Maya hits back! Shida ROCKS Willow, but Willow ELBOWS back! Thekla SMACKS Maya off the apron again, Shida SMACKS Willow off the barriers again and again, then Thekla POSTS Maya!

Shida quite literally rubs it in Willow’s face that she’s TBS Champion now! Willow shoves Shida away, but Shida kicks her down! Shida CLUBS Willow, Thekla CLUBS Maya, but the ref reprimands. Shida & Thekla bring Willow & Maya around, “SE~ NO!” Stereo suplexes to the floor! The fans are torn, the ref starts a count, but Thekla puts Maya in the ring. The fans cheer Thekla on, Thekla climbs up, and Thekla coordinates with Shida. “SE~ NO!” They rain down fists on Maya & Willow, but both Maya & Willow slip out before ten! They YANK Shida & Thekla down, then fire LARIATS! The fans count along again, and they go all the way to TEN!

Willow & Maya sends Shida & Thekla into each other, then Willow DOUBLE LARIATS! The fans cheer, and then Maya scoops Shida for a SLAM! Maya goes up the corner, WORLD SAULT while Collision goes picture in picture!

Maya covers, TWO! Shida is tougher than that, but Maya stays on her. Shida CLAWS Maya’s face, the ref reprimands, and Shida puts Maya in the corner. Tag to Thekla, she pulls Maya’s hair, then goes up the corner. Thekla stands on Maya, the ref counts, and Maya fights back! Thekla CLUBS Maya down, taunts her, but Maya fires body shots. Thekla taunts her again, but Maya ROCKS her! Thekla scowls and DECKS Maya in return! Thekla puts Maya in a corner, fires off, then climbs up. Thekla CHOKES Maya, but she backs off as the ref counts 4. Thekla whips Maya to the corner, ROCKS her, then tags Shida in.

Shida reels Maya in, snap suplexes her into buckles, then watches Maya flounder. Then Shida clamps on with a chinlock and she stretches Maya back! Thekla taunts Maya, the ref has her stop, and Maya fires elbows. Maya fights to the ROPEBREAK, and Shida stomps her down! Tag to Thekla, she storms up on Maya, and CLUBS her down! Thekla snapmares Maya, then basement SUPERKICKS! Cover, TWO! Maya toughs it out but Thekla pushes her around. Thekla clamps on for a RINGS OF SATURN! Collision returns to single picture as Maya endures, but Thekla fishhooks her! The ref reprimands, Thekla lets go, and she tags Shida.

Thekal BLASTS Willow, then she and Shida bring Maay up. Maya fights the double suplex to fire off CHOPS and forearms! The fans fire up, Maya leaps, but Shida catches her! Shida throws Maya back, but Maya ENZIGIRIS! Then she dodges Shida, hot tag to Willow! Willow LARIATS, LARIATS, and repeat! Then she BLASTS Thekla! Willow fire sup, the fans are with her, and she ELBOWS Shida! Then LARIATS! Then snapmares, and BOOTS! Shida flounders, the fans fire up, and Willow whips to SPINEBUSTER! High stack, but Thekla breaks it! Willow storms upon Thekla, Thekla runs away, and Willow goes back to Shida.

Willow fireman’s carries, Shida slips free, and Shida blocks a shot to ROCK Willow! Shida runs, then pokes Willow in the eyes! Cradle, TWO! Shida facelocks, but Willow fights the suplex! The fans cheer Willow and she CHOPS! Willow runs, but Thekla snatches her at the ropes! Shida runs up and KNEES Willow! Then Shida hits the FALCON ARROW! Cover, Maya breaks it! The fans cheer, but Shida and Maya start firing shots! Maya winds up, Shida blocks once, but Maya ROCKS her! Maya runs, wheelbarrows and victory roll, STOMP 182! But Thekla is in and DECKS Maya! Willow LARIATS Thekla! But Shida JUMP KNEES Willow!

The fans fire up as all four women are down! Maya and Thekla crawl out of the ring while their teammates crawl inside. Hot tags to Maya and Thekla! Maya dodges, mule kicks, and suplexes, but Thekla fights free! Thekla SOBATS, runs, but into a BODY BLOCK! Thekla tumbles out, but Shida CLUBS Maya! Willow runs up to CHOP Shida! Willow TOSSES Shida, then the fans bark with her. Willow goes outside, aims from the apron, but Shida saves Thekla! The cannonball hits floor! But then Maya DIVES onto both champions! The fans are fired up, and Maya puts Thekla in the ring. But Shida anchors Maya’s foot!

Maya CLUBS away on Shida, but Thekla has a title belt! The ref stops Thekla, confiscates the belt, and Maya is free! Thekla runs up, but Maya GAMANGIRIS! Thekla goes down, Maya goes up, but Shida KENDO STICK SMACKS Maya!! The fans boo as the ref misses it, but then Thekla goes Spider Walk! SPIDER SPEAR!! Cover, the champs win!

Winners: Thekla & Hikaru Shida, by pinfall

It was anything but clean, but that’s how Thekla & Shida like it! The Spider and the Samurai have the edge going into the PPV, but will the Babe and It Girl still have their Redemption?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision go-home episode, perfectly at the two hour mark, and with quite a lot going into Redemption. We got our qualifiers for that random ladder match. I wonder if the International Championship needing a #1 contender that isn’t just Konosuke Takeshita foreshadows anything about Konosuke’s run in the NJPW G1 Climax… Konosuke did just win an epic against Boltin Oleg today and there are still many rounds to go… Could Konosuke be penciled in as a semifinalist? That aside, a great selection for that ladder match, and great action in the qualifiers tonight. Lio Rush being ROH World TV Champion, I had a feeling he’d lose out to focus on his story with Action Andretti, and this is a great way for Clon to return. And there’s clearly more to mine with Nick Wayne and Jack Perry, too.

Persephone got a good win to have her own return to AEW action, maybe they set something up for Grand Slam: Mexico in a couple weeks that also leads towards All In. Ciampa of course gets one more win before No Holds Barred on Sunday, where I would think Jericho wins out. Good promo from Athena and MIT, and it sounds like they might have a quick little thing with The Brawling Birds while we wait on making Birds VS Divine Dominion at All In. Very good promos from Bang Bang Gang and Dogs to add some last hype on the double chain match, which might be one of tomorrow night’s bloodier matches.

Great match from Bucks VS Garcia & Yuta, and while The Bucks won, Ospreay & Moxley standing tall helps muddy the math. I would think Ospreay & Moxley still win out so that Ospreay is hot going towards All In, and then The Bucks can still “fight their way back up” to face Cope & Cage for the tag titles. Because yeah, I would think Cope & Cage, the Canadians, win to keep the tag titles so that All In’s tag title match is a generational match on par with C&C VS FTR. And great stuff in the larger trios division story, with Lethal Twist winning their match, and then The Conglomeration retaining the trios titles.

Honestly, with Lethal Twist also wanting the ROH Six Man titles, I almost thought they could just make it 6v6, all the trios titles on the line, Conglomeration, Outrunners & Castle VS Demand & Twist. Because then there can also be dysfunction on which Heel trio is getting which set of titles, and then The Demand shows The Twist where they are in the pecking order as opposed to being nice and friendly.
