AEW shares footage from after Redemption.

After Will Ospreay stood his ground against them, Jon Moxley and the crew stormed backstage, furious with how the night ended. Moxley himself said that after MONTHS of helping Ospreay, he still can’t get it through his head! They despised seeing Ospreay and Omega shake hands, and Moxley said if Ospreay hits Omega now, all would be forgiven. But as we know, it wasn’t Ospreay who struck from behind, it was OMEGA! Moxley was beside himself, because he was right! How long was that? Three minutes? The Cleaner is the shark at the top of the food chain, as Moxley’s been saying for months!

Ospreay’s trying to take that title, he’s trying to take everything Omega’s worked for his entire life, and Moxley gave him the tools. Ospreay should’ve gotten it before it got him. But it’s not over yet, because what’s Ospreay got now? Now, he’s maybe the best wrestler in the world with nothing to lose. Ospreay is truly on death ground.

Backstage interview with Will Ospreay.

Renee Paquette catches the Aerial Assassin as he walks in and asks about how he feels after what went down at Redemption. Ospreay apologizes, he knows Renee is just doing her job, but he’s in no mood for questions. And then The Death Riders are there waiting. Ospreay is wary of them as they approach, and Moxley stares him down. Daniel Garcia speaks up to “Young Boy Billy,” and gets SMACKED DOWN for it!! Pac steps up but Moxley holds him back! Moxley has everyone calm down, and he asks Ospreay, “Are you sure you wanna do that?” Ospreay tells Moxley that he doesn’t get to pull the trigger for him. Ospreay gives the patch back and says he’s out!

Moxley says, “Is that so? Well, looks like you’ve got it all figured out then.” Moxley helps Garcia to his feet, the Death Riders step aside, and Ospreay enters the building. Renee wants to follow up, but then Hangman Page is there! And The Cowboy says he was gonna give Ospreay hell for joining up with those guys, but guess it’s not an issue anymore, is it? Well, he just wants to catch up. Hangman knows what it is to be in Ospreay’s shoes, the entire world in front of him. It feels impossible to do alone, and that is not how half the roster let him feel, that’s not how Ospreay let him feel. So he doesn’t mean to stick his nose in Ospreay’s business, the world title isn’t Hangman’s thing anymore…

But Hangman does want Ospreay to know, if he needs anything, just let him know. Ospreay says he appreciates that, but he’s got a lot on his plate right now. The United Empire is mad at him, the Death Riders are gonna be breathing down his neck, and he can’t trust Kenny Omega anymore, so he can’t trust Hangman Page anymore. Ospreay will do this alone. Hangman stops Ospreay from leaving. He knows the look in Ospreay’s face. And to be honest, Ospreay is one of the best Hangman’s ever been int he ring with. Hangman knows that for him, he has to believe it first. He knows Ospreay believes.

Ospreay is gonna walk into Wembley Stadium, the bell is going to ring, and Ospreay is going to be the best he’s ever been. Or he’ll die. Okay, just kidding. Ospreay’s got this. Hangman means that. Ospreay thanks Hangman for that, then heads in. Will nothing stop Ospreay now that he has nothing else?

AEW National Championship Triple Threat: Andrade El Idolo VS “Jungle” Jack Perry VS Nick Wayne!

The Real Latino Man only just won this title off of Mark Davis, but he’s not going to be a lazy champion! In fact, he’ll be such a fighting champion, he’s facing two young and hungry stars just to prove he’s a real champion! But will he regret this gamble? Nick CLAWS Jack’s eyes! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Nick shrugs, there’s no disqualifications! But Jack CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! But Nick THROWS Jack down by his hair! But Nick is in! SPANISH FLY! But then Jack SHOTGUNS Nick! All three men are down and the fans fire up while AEW goes picture in picture.

Jack is up first, he has to choose between Andrade and Nick, and the fans seem to say Nick. Jack obliges and smacks Nick off buckles. Nick is tougher than that and Jack argues the count. Jack goes to Nick, but Nick CHOKES him into the corner! The ref reprimands but Nick climbs up. Nick rains down fists, and he goes to nine, winds up, but just flips everyone off before he THRUSTS into Jack. Dynamite returns to single picture, and Nick puts Jack up top. Nick climbs up to join Jack, but Andrade is in! Andrade ENZIGIRIS Nick in the legs! Andrade then carries Nick out, and POWERBOMBS him down!

The fans fire up as Andrade goes back for Jack, and CHOPS! The fans want Andrade’s pants to come off but Jack fires body shots. Jack ROCKS Andrade, CHOPS and CHOPS, and Andrade goes to the apron. Nick runs up, Andrade GAMANGIRIS! Jack adjusts, and he FLYING LARIATS! The fans are thunderous, but here comes Nick! DIVING DESTROYER!! The fans go nuts while all three men are down! Nick crawls over to Jack while Andrade crawls away. Jack is a ragdoll so Nick puts Andrade in the ring again. “This is Awesome!” as Nick springboards to FROG SPLASH! Then he reels Andrade in, PRODIGY PLEX! Cover, Jack breaks it in time!

The fans fire up as this continues, and all three men go to center. The fans cheer “A E DUB!” for making this match happen. Nick scuffs Jack, scuffs him again, then eggs him on. The fans boo but Jack shoves Nick. Nick shoves back, so Jack CHOPS! Nick SLAPS! Jack UPPERCUTS! Nick fires a forearm, Jack fires back, and repeat! Andrade cuts in and CHOPS Nick! Then CHOPS Jack! But they DOUBLE SUPERKICK back! But Andrade DOUBLE LARIATS on return! The fans are thunderous again as all three men are down! The fans chant “HOW YOU KNOW!” as Andrade goes to center. Backstage interview with The Brawling Birds.

Renee Paquette is with Alex Windsor & Jamie Hater and says we’ve been hearing an awful lot from The Divine Dominion. Windsor says oh, yes, here’s what they think of that. PBBT! They talk too much! Hayter says this ain’t All Elite Talking, and they all know what The Birds are here for. Divine Dominion is undefeated, The Birds are undefeated, and while Megan & Lena have those beautiful belts, Windsor & Hayter want them. And quite frankly, girls, you’ve been avoiding The Birds for far too long. As for Athena & MIT, pick any two of you broads, and The Birds will still beat the piss outta them on Collision!

But hey, Megan, Lena, listen up you overgrown slags. Whenever and wherever you see them, ball up your knuckles, it’s time to brawl! Who will The Fallen Goddess choose to face Hayter & Windsor? And when and where will Divine Dominion put up or shut up about The Birds?

Backstage interview with The Don Callis Family.

Dynamite returns and Renee is with Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage, Jake Doyle, Kevin Knight, and The Jackal himself, saying in mere moments, we have a Six Man Tag of Kyle, Cage & Doyle against “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Bandido & Brody King. Does this feel like a good spot to get momentum after some… unfortunate losses at Redemption? Kyle says he doesn’t know what show Renee was watching, but he didn’t lose his match. He retained the International Championship without anyone else’s help, and is now on his way to becoming the greatest International Champion of all time. Callis says well said, Kyle!

Callis admits, they took some L’s, but that’s all part of pro-wrestling. Renee’s not a rookie here. The good news is, Mark Davis is angry! And Callis can’t wait to see what happens from that. As Knight once said, “don’t need the family.” Lesson learned, sometimes you do need family. But Knight still has a lot of talent. Knight appreciates that. It obviously never feels good to lose, but it feels great that Knight went toe-to-toe with one of the greatest in that main event. And we all know that it won’t be the last time The Jet is headlining around here. He’ll take a step back and appreciate the little things, like how he’s still TNT Champion.

And after next week, Grand Slam: Mexico, hopefully Kyle can say the same. Because Kyle and Speedball are tied in singles action, and they all know that there can be some trouble. Kyle says there’s nothing to worry about. And Knight should worry about his own title, actually, because this International Championship will never leave the family. Kazuchika Okada then steps in and says Kyle was right. The International Championship will stay in the family. Okada leaves, but is there more to what he just said than it sounds? Can The Protostar, Machine, and #DangerousDoyle focus on the task at hand?

Six Man Tag: Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage & Jake Doyle VS “Speedball” Mike Bailey & #BRODIDO!

The trios sort out, and naturally, Kyle and Bailey start as a preview of the coming International Championship match. Kyle says hold on, he doesn’t want Bailey, he wants the big man. The fans cheer as Brody tags in, and the two tie up. Kyle headlocks, Brody powers up and out, and they RAM shoulders! Kyle headlocks, Brody powers out again, and they RAM shoulders! Brody rebounds to RUN Kyle over! Brody brings Kyle up, but Kyle ROCKS him! Kyle RAMS Brody into the corner, RAMS into him again and again, then tags Cage. Cage fires forearms, then he tags Doyle. They DOUBLE SUPLEX Brody! Doyle then CHOKES Brody in the corner!

Tag to Kyle as the fans rally for Brody. Brody BOOTS Kyle, BLASTS Cage and Doyle, then CHOPS Kyle! Brody wrenches Kyle, tags Bailey, and Bailey goes up to AX HANDLE! The fans cheer as Bailey then tags Bandido. Bandido goes up and DOUBLE STOMPS the arm! The fans cheer as Brodido whips Kyle, Brody sends Bandido in, LARIAT! Then they send Bailey, LAIRAT! Then Brody adds a LARIAT! Doyle & Cage rush in but they get BOOTS! The two stay up, so Brody DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! The fans bark for Brody, then Brody brings Kyle up. Kyle fires knees, then runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Brody still LARIATS!

The fans fire up as Brody calls to Bandido, and Bandido climbs up! Latino Heat and FROG- NO, Kyle moves! Bandido rolls through but Kyle kicks low. Kyle reels Bandido in, but Bandido suplexes Kyle! Even as Kyle fights it, Bandido powers through! The fans fire up while Kyle flounders to a corner. Bandido hurries over and climbs up to rain down fists. Kyle slips away, Bandido avoids the sweep, and he GAMANGIRIS Kyle! Then BOOT for Doyle, but Cage YANKS Bandido from the apron! POST BOMB! The fans boo but then Kyle CLOBBERS Bailey! Tag to Doyle while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Kyle & Cage RIPCORD Bandido into Doyle’s HAYMAKER! The Don Callis Family soaks up a lot of heat while Bandido is down. The ref reprimands but Kyle and the boys keep flexing on Detroit. Doyle then drags Bandido up, whips him into a corner, and he tags Cage. They mug Bandido, then Cage taunts Brody. Cage runs back in, jumps up, and MONKEFY FLIPS Bandido away! Cage taunts everyone, then he sucker punches Brody! The ref reprimands but Cage drags Bandido up to bump off buckles. Tag to Doyle, he BEARHUGS Bandido! Bandido endures, fires hands, but Doyle whips him hard into a corner! Cover, TWO!

Doyle snarls, drags Bandido up, and whips him into the corner. Tag to Kyle and Doyle traps Bandido. Kyle winds up to BODY BLOW! Kyle brings Bandido up, scoops, and SLAMS! Kyle taunts Brody, then he drags Bandido up. The fans rally for Bandido but Kyle scoops to SLAM! Kyle mocks the fans as they rally for Bandido, and he drags Bandido up. Bandido fires forearms, reaches out, repeat! Kyle keeps Bandido away by mere fingertips, then he KNEES low! Kyle scoops, but Bandido slips free to SHOVE him into Doyle! Bandido hurries, but so does Kyle. Kyle whips, Bandido tilt-o-whirls and SATELLITE DDTS!

The fans fire up while both Bandido and Kyle crawl, hot tag to Cage! Cage stomps Bandido, then reels him in. Bandido tries to suplex, Cage suplexes instead, but Bandido slips free! Hot tag to Brody! Brody CHOPS Cage, sends him into Doyle, and the fans chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as Brody fires forearms and CHOPS on repeat! Then a LARIAT for Doyle in a corner! LARIAT for Cage in the other! Then Brody sends Cage into Doyle, DOUBLE SPLASH! Both men sit down while Brody barks. Brody runs in and DOUBLE CANNONBALLS! Cover, TWO! Cage survives for the team, but Brody drags him up. Cage wrenches and JUMP KNEES!

Cage spins, but Brody blocks to then LARIAT Cage! Tag to Bailey and the fans fire up! Bailey runs up and PENALTY KICKS! Then STANDING- NO, Cage avoids the knees! And then deadlift for the BUCKLE BOMB! Tag to Kyle, he and Doyle send Cage in for an UPPERCUT, ENZIGIRI, and GERMAN SUPLEX! Doyle is there to torture rack, and RACK DROP! Then Kyle KNEES Bailey down! Cover, BRODIDO BREAKS IT! Doyle & Cage CLOBBER Bandido, DOUBLE SPINEBUSTER Brody, but the fans boo it all. Kyle reels Bailey in, but Bailey fights the lift! Kyle KICKS Bailey, but Bailey trips Kyle to a jackknife bridge! TWO!

Kyle has a sunset flip, TWO! Bailey is up, Kyle avoids a kick, but then Bailey blocks a kick! Kyle blocks back, lifts, but Bailey RANAS! Kyle sunsets, Bailey rolls through, PENALTY KICK! KNEE-SAULT! The fans fire up but then Kyle scoops Bailey to LAWN DART him in the corner! Kyle runs, but into the HEEL KICK!! Detroit is thunderous as both men are down! Kyle crawls, hot tag to Doyle, but then hot tag to Bandido! Bandido fires forearm after forearm but Doyle stays up! Bandido winds up, but Doyle kicks low! Doyle runs, but Bandido sidesteps to then gorilla press SLAM! The fans fire up as Bandido then goes up top, FROG SPLASH! Cover, but Doyle rolls through!?

Doyle lifts Bandido, then SLAMS him! The fans boo but Doyle BODY CHECKS Bandido! Brody ROLLING ELBOWS Doyle! Cage fireman’s carries Brody, for the F5!! Bailey is in, he dodges, but Cage ducks, ducks, only for the HEEL KICK to hit! But Kyle’s SUPERKICK hits! Kyle whips, Bailey goes up and out! Kyle runs up, Bailey jumps up to then ASAI MOONSAULT! The fans are thunderous again but Callis is freaking out! Bandido and Doyle are back in the ring, Doyle kicks low and reels Bandido in! But Bandido ranas through, TWO! Sit-down interview with Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, and The Young Bucks.

Renee Paquette feels very excited about this as do all the fans. We finally see at All In: London, for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, Cope & Christian VS Matt & Nick Jackson. They throw the phrase “Dream match” around a lot, but this is at the top of the list for a lot of people. Renee says The Bucks can go first on how they feel about it. Nick says he’s already nervous about it, and Matt agrees. They’re already planning the trip, their kids, their wives, the family’s coming with them. That night means the world to them, but this is a match-up they never thought would happen. SO it is an honor to be in this match with C&C.

C&C revolutionized tag team wrestling, and The Bucks kinda did the same. Cope says he appreciates that, and no “kinda,” they did revolutionize things, too. C&C are also looking forward to this. They never thought this would happen, same boat, mutual respect. Cope respects everything The Bucks have done to keep tag team wrestling alive. They all know that for a long time, tag team wrestling was pushed to the side. Teams like The Bucks, like C&C, like FTR, they made sure that wasn’t the case. Cope is also looking forward to this, it’ll be a pleasure and an honor to face them in London.

Christian speaks up, pardons his interruption, and says Renee asked what this all means to them. For Christian, he says this with all sincerity, C&C didn’t come back to do a retirement tour, a “greatest hits” tour. They’re back to be AEW World Tag Team Champions, and now that they are, they are going to prove they’re not only the best team of their generation, but of The Bucks’ generation, too. Also, good to know the wives are coming. Okay, okay, that’s debatable… But Matt says this is about legacy. C&C are made men, they’re on their second run now. The Bucks are still working on their legacy, and the belts are their legacy.

If Matt & Nick win those titles again, y’know what happens? They become the most decorated team in AEW history. That’s everything to them! They spent two years trying to get those back. All In last year, The Bucks lost it all. They’ve scratched and clawed their way back up. They had a chance in LA, they lost, C&C were there to see it. That was in front of their family. Cope appreciates that, and you wanna know why? Because between the two of them, C&C lost 17 YEARS of their careers, and they thought they’d never do this again. They haven’t had tag titles in 25 years. That’s a quarter of a century.

So they understand what The Bucks are saying, but let’s not play the comparison game. Matt says he just wants to say, and maybe take it as a warning, but C&C are legends, they’ve done it all. There is not a thing or anyone who will get in the way of The Bucks making history as FOUR-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions. This isn’t going to be Kobe Bryant scoring 60 at the end of his career. C&C will be lucky to get on the board, because The Bucks will be coming harder, faster, stronger, more aggressive than anyone in their careers, because those titles are their legacy. Christian says it sounds like Matt’s talking himself into this.

Because it’ll be very different when the music stops, the crowd stands up and the four step in the ring, and The Bucks are staring at their heroes. Will they be able to lift their game to another level like C&C always have? They’re not playing down The Bucks’ career, they know how great The Bucks are. To be the greatest, they have to beat The Bucks, and that is what will happen. Renee says she’ll piggyback off this. As The Bucks said, this is the second run of C&C, so why would it mean so much more to retain these titles than anything else? Because they’re being doubted at this stage.

Even with everything they’ve done, everything they’ve accomplished, the work they’ve put in, the matches they’ve created, the PPVs they’ve created, there is still doubt. Just not in C&C. Do the Bucks feel doubted? Matt says their entire career has been a chip on their shoulder, the underdogs, “They’ll never make it, they’re too small, their style doesn’t fit, they do too many superkicks, too many high spots.” This is what The Bucks do! C&C are bigger, taller, more experienced, but this is Matt & Nick Jackson, and they’ve been at this a long time, too. Renee sums it up that this is our AEW World Tag Team Championship dream match, but who will be living the dream in Wembley?

Winner: Maya World, by pinfall (still AEW TBS Champion)

The Cosmic Killer gets even with Shida & Perse, and she celebrates with Maya! Perse is freaking out, but will she just have to take it up with Stat Daddy?

Mark Davis speaks.

“This last Sunday, I suffered a very public and personal embarrassment. Y’see, I stand here ten pounds lighter with no National Championship around my waist. It makes me furious. I need to do something about it. And that brings me to you, Mr. Number One Contender, Will Ospreay. The record books will show us 1-1 this year, but you and I know that your victory over me comes with a very heavy asterisk, by way of Death Rider interference. And it seems like you have no cool kids to sit with at lunch anymore, so how about we do this? I leave the Don Callis Family at home, and you and I step into the ring next week at Grand Slam: Mexico!

“And I’m gonna do what I know I can: I’ma chew you up, I’ma spit you out, and I’ma leave you broken out back of Arena Mexico!” Dunkzilla is on a rampage, but will Ospreay be more than ready for round three?

Renee Paquette is in the ring.

She welcomes us back to Dynamite, and welcomes in the NEW AEW Women’s World Champion, The Babe with the Power, Willow Nightingale! Detroit fires up as Willow indeed makes her way to the ring, and she gets pyro! Willow joins Renee in the ring, and then streamers fly! The fans chant “You Deserve It!” and Renee says a huge congratulations to Willow. Not just in winning the AEW Women’s World Champion, she’s also AEW’s first Women’s Triple Crown! What does all this mean to her? Willow is of course all smiles as she sees all the signs and hears all the cheers. She says these fans are all far too kind.

The fans cheer even more, Willow gets emotional, and she thanks them again. All this is still really surreal. It’s exactly the thing people dream about. She isn’t just living a dream, she’s leaving her dream. She is so grateful for the fans being with her. There have been doubters along the way. The fans boo the doubters, but Willow says not everyone looks at a girl like her, whatever that is, whether enthusiastic, chubby, weird… They just wouldn’t “get it.” They wouldn’t see it, they thought it’d never happen. But this past year, she has made the fans apparently very happy. The fans continue to cheer Willow on and she holds back her tears.

Willow teases that the makeup artist worked very hard, they can’t ruin the makeup. But this past year, she’s become half of the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions. She then went on to beat Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship. Then she got hurt… Yeah, boo, it all came crashing down. It was tough, took her to a dark place. But y’know who pulled her out of that? Her mom! The fans cheer for “MOM! MOM! MOM!” Willow says good ol’ Jill Nightingale tells her “warrior princess” that she’s got two options: get up or stay down. The fans chant “Warrior Princess!” and Willow says yes, she fought and fought to get in the Casino Gauntlet!

Then, she fought a dangerous, a toxic Thekla, so she could win this bad boy right here! So she loves all the love, but she needs them to hear this, because this is for all the people: If life has been kicking you around, don’t give up. Don’t you dare! Keep fighting, keep pushing through. Sometimes, the comeback is even better than the dream! The fans cheer, but then Mercedes Mone appears! The fans boo The CEO as she steps on Willow’s moment. Mone goes to the ring, wearing her Queen of Harts belt, and a slaughtered yeti of an outfit… But she also has a contract folder in hand. Mone gets a mic while she drags her way through the streamers.

The fans boo, but Mone tells Willow that she’s not here to ruin the celebration. She’s here for business. So sign the damn contract for All In, NOW. Willow says fine, and puts the contract against Mone’s chest to write. Mone pushes the contract away, the two get face to face, and the fans cheer Willow on. Renee picks up the contract and pen and says it is official! Wembley Stadium, the AEW Women’s World Championship, Willow VS Mone! The fans cheer again, and Willow tells Mone, “What exactly is your problem today? What, for five seconds, people didn’t give you all of their attention? Or maybe today you’re angry because you remembered I beat you after your 584 day reign as TBS Champion!”

The fans cheer, and Willow says maybe it’s that, but she thinks it’s that… Willow has the one title Mone just could not get. Mone frowns as she says, “Do you know what I hate most about you, Willow? It’s not just your stupid smile, or that the fact that all these people love and adore you. It’s the fact that every milestone, somehow, your name is written all over MY story. When I got hurt and my career stopped, all these people celebrated you! When I fought my way back and I chose AEW, I had to go through you! When I, Mercedes Mone, became the greatest TBS Champion of all time, guess who’s the one that took that all away from me? That’s right, WILLOW!”

The fans cheer again, and Mone says now Willow is holding the one thing Mone is destined to hold, THE AEW Women’s World Championship. Y’know how that makes her feel?! The fans tell her to STFU, but Mone says every moment of her career, Willow’s smiling and Mone has to pick up the pieces! How does that feel!? Mone will NOT shut up! At All In, she is going to finally end Willow’s fairytale. Because Willow would be nothing without Mone! The only reason the fans cheer Willow is cuz she stood across the ring from Mercedes Mone. So Willow needs to admit that Mone MADE her! Mone elevated her! Mone gave her the greatest moment of her entire career!

At All In, Mone will not just take the title, she’ll take the smile! Mone pie faces Willow! Willow says she wants to talk history, Willow’s made history! And destiny? Willow become the first Women’s Triple Crown! Mone says at her expense! Oh, sure. But then Divine Dominion shows up! Mone throws a shot but willow DCKS her! Willow hits Megan, she hits Lena, but Mone CHOP BLOCKS Willow! Then DIVINE INTERVENTION! The fans boo as Mone, Megan & Lena all stand tall over Willow, Mone holding up the world title. But then here come The Birds! Seems this is the time and place, until Divine Dominion & Mone run for it!

Windsor & Hayter tell them to all come back and fight, but that ain’t happening tonight. Are all these women ready to go all in at All In?

AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley VS Komander!

The Death Riders may have misread Will Ospreay, but they can’t worry about that now, it’s back to work for The Maniac. Will Moxley take his frustrations out on the Ace of Space? Or will Komander finally get some gold back around his waist?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who hits shifts it into gear in Motor City!

Moxley grabs a chair, sits it up, then brings Komander over. Moxley makes Komander sit down, and he CLUBS away on Komander’s chest! Moxley then gets space, runs back up, and he BOOTS Komander outta the chair! Komander sputters while Moxley rolls into the ring. Moxley “apologizes” to the ref, and the ring count starts. Komander slowly sits up so Moxley goes out after him. Moxley puts Komander in the ring, then along the apron.

Moxley digs his elbow into Komander’s back, CLUBS him, then stands on the apron. Moxley reels Komander into a CAMEL CLUTCH! The ref reprimands, they’re in the ropes! The ref counts, Moxley twists Komander’s neck, but Moxley stops at 4. Moxley steps inside, lets Komander roll in, then brings him up. Moxley puts Komander on the ropes, talks some trash, then runs to SHOTGUN Komander down! Moxley talks more trash as he paces around, then pushes Komander to a cover. TWO, but Moxley stays right on Komander with a knee in the back. Dynamite returns to single picture, and Moxley clamps on a headscissors squeeze.

Moxley then reaches for Komander’s legs, ties them up, and he has Komander in an Inverted Bow ‘n’ Arrow! Komander endures so Moxley switches to a facelock. Moxley grinds Komander, the fans rally up, and Komander fights up. Komander fires body shots, then UPPERCUTS! Moxley kicks low, reels Komander back in, and suplexes. Komander cradle counters! TWO! The fans rally up, Komander stays cool, and Komander runs up to ROCK Moxley! Komander CHOPS, whips, but Moxley reverses! Komander goes up, over, handsprings, but Moxley hits a CUTTER! The fans fire up, and Moxley puts Komander in a corner. Moxley rains down fists as we hit the ten minute mark. Moxley goes to TEN, then BITES the mask! The ref reprimands, Moxley stops and “apologizes,” and the afns tell Moxley he’s sick.

Moxley has Komander on the ropes, climbs up, but Komander slips free to ENZIGIRI! Moxley dangles on the ropes, Komander goes up, GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! The fans fire up as Komander tumbles, and then Moxley slowly follows. “This is Awesome!” as Komander eggs Moxley on. Moxley runs up, Komander dodges, and Moxley runs into the barriers! Komander then slides into the ring, Moxley still follows, but Komander makes a hairpin turn to go up, up, and 450 SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Moxley survives and the fans are stunned! Komander is growing frustrated, but he sees Moxley in the corner. Komander runs corner to corner, but Moxley swings!

Komander dodges, SUPERKICKS, and Moxley bails out! Komander goes back up the corner, and he runs the tightrope again! SPACE WALK MOONSAULT! Down goes Moxley and the fans are thunderous! Komander vows he’s getting that belt! Komander puts Moxley in the ring, goes up the corner, and another tightrope walk! CIELITO- FLOP! Moxley runs to CURB STOMP! Then a DEATH RIDER DRIVER! And SLEEPER!! Komander TAPS, Moxley wins!

Winner: Jon Moxley, by submission (still AEW Continental Champion)

Marina Shafir is finally allowed ringside, and she brings the belt to the champ. Ospreay or no Ospreay, is Moxley going to be Continental Champion until the end of time?

Backstage interview with The Bang Bang Gang.

Mick Foley welcomes us in as he is with Ace Austin, Juice Robinson & The Gunns, and he notices there’s a subdued atmosphere following the brutal chain match. Also, obviously, Jay White is not with them. Can they give us an update as to why? Ace says under other circumstances, they’d love to be bang-banging it up with the legend. But that’s just not how things are right now. Colten says that’s exactly how things are right now! They’ve been screwed by The Dogs, by the Death Riders, Juice is still feeling the effects of that chain match, and yeah, Jay White isn’t even here!

Juice shouts, “DOGS! Death Riders! Any combination of any of you… If you can dig down deep and find out if you’ve got the testicular fortitude to finish what we started, tomorrow night, you know where to find us!” Foley says they want a fight here in Detroit, Michigan? Austin says if you’re not down with that, they’ve got two words for ya! BANG BANG! Sorry, Mick, not tonight. Tonight, it’s GUNNS UP! But will The Collision Cowboys be able to wrangle whatever dastardly combination of Dogs and Death Riders comes for them?

AEW World Trios Championships: The Conglomeration VS The Demand!

Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong defended these titles on Saturday, they defended them on Sunday, but it’s Wednesday night, and you know what that means! And on top of that, it’s against Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona! But will the Word of the Day be “unstoppable?” Or will they have no choice but to give into The Demand?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and- Oh, Kaun goes right after Roddy! Ricochet hurries in and goes after Kyle while Cassidy DIVES onto Liona, only to get caught! Liona SMACKS Cassidy off the apron, then whips Cassidy into railing! The fans boo but Ricochet tosses Kyle out to MOONSAULT! Kyle dodges, and Roddy WRECKS Ricochet with a DROPKICK! But then Kaun SHOTGUNS Roddy! Kyle FLYING KNEES Kaun down! Liona runs in around the way, but Kyle dodges in time! Liona CRASHES into steel steps, and Kyle says a quick prayer in thanks. The fans taunt Ricochet for being bald, but he puts Cassidy in. Liona is waiting, the ref checks on Cassidy, and Cassidy puts his hands up. The bell rings, Cassidy dodges Liona, then he goes up and out. Cassidy bumps Liona off buckles, but it does nothing!

Liona headbutts the buckle to make a point, then he swings! Cassidy dodges, somersaults, then puts hands in pockets! The fans cheer, but Liona puts his hands… on Cassidy! And lifts him up! HANGMAN PAGE is here, and armed with a chair! A chair wrapped in barbed wire, at that!! The Demand & Twist run away as The Cowboy storms the ring! Lethal still snatches the chair away?! It hurts his hands! Lee is up but Hangman DECKS him! And he BOOTS Lethal!

Brody DECKS Lethal, and Hangman goes to the apron! The fans fire up as Hangman lines it up, BUCKSHOT! Down goes Lethal and Hangman shakes hands with Brody. Ricochet says it doesn’t matter, they still got the gold! But will The Twist accept their role as pawns in King Ricochet’s game? Or are they already in the Hangman’s crosshairs?

BREAKING NEWS for Grand Slam: Mexico!

After that confrontation earlier, The CEO & Divine Dominion will have no choice but to fight Willow Nightingale & The Brawling Birds in Arena Mexico! Will the Birds that flock together win together? Or will they #BowDown to the Money Train? And then, with Mark Davis throwing out the challenge, the challenge is accepted! Will Ospreay use Davis to sharpen his edge for All In? Or will Dunkzilla put more points on the board?

The Death Riders speak.

Wheeler Yuta says, “Another night, another victory for the Death Riders. But that’s just what we do, because it’s us against the world every night. But now I hear that The Bang Bang Gang wants to blame us for their failures? They wanna blame us because their boy, Jay White, can’t stay on the field. But if you’re throwing around open challenges…” Pac says that’s no skin off their collective ball sacks, ya freaks! See you on Collision tomorrow. Garcia says that’s what he likes most about Pac. Pac is always right! Just like he was right about that coward, Will Ospreay! Ospreay’s been running from the grind forever!

When things in NJPW got hard, he left. When things in the United Empire got hard, he left. And when he had his first moment of internal conflict about being with the Death Riders, he tried to leave, but homeboy, that is not how it works. There’s a hard way in, and a harder way out. Young Boy Billy, see you soon. Moxley says he’s getting sick of the talk about how the way Death Rider does things, the way they do things, the way it should be. The morality police are out! The Death Riders meet people where they are, and play by the rules of what is necessary. They don’t give a damn what you think about it!

That’s why he loves the Continental Championship. This is what this sport it supposed to be about. This is what he loves. You go to the ring, lay it all on the line, just what you’ve got in your heart and in your mind. The backstage is abuzz with this mystery term, “The Continental Cup.” Moxley is walking in as champion, into the unknown, against God knows how many challengers, the best in the world, BRING IT ON! They run into the fire! He ain’t afraid of nothing. If this is where his run ends, in a hail of bullets and fire in the Continental Cup, then so be it!

Moxley heads out, and BREAKING NEWS for Collision: Garcia gets his match with Ospreay tomorrow night on Collision! Will Red Death slay the Aerial Assassin? Or is he going to be just another appetizer before the feast at All In?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He says coming out of Montreal, Kenny Omega is STILL AEW Champoin of the World. A lot happened after the match, but now Omega and Ospreay are set to go 1v1 for the title on August 30th, at All In: London. So please welcome out, THE AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega! The fans cheer as Omega indeed makes his entrance, dressed in a nice suit, and title in hand. Omega high-fives some fans in the front row before joining Schiavone in the ring. They shake hands, the mic is handed over, and Omega thanks Schiavone. Omega starts by saying at the close of Redemption- OSPREAY INTERRUPTS!

The fans cheer as Ospreay makes his entrance and goes right to the ring. Omega has them cut the music, and says yeah, this is great. And here’s why! Because what Omega’s about to say, unfortunately, doesn’t need to be heard by the people. It’s true. This is something personal. And something that Omega has wanted to say just to Ospreay. But since he came all the way out here, might as well make it fun. There’s something they used to do in “kin-dee-garden,” called Show ‘n’ Tell. Right now, let’s play that. At Redemption, Omega showed Ospreay how he felt. Omega showed Ospreay by giving the One Winged Angel how he felt.

And it didn’t matter if the fans misunderstood, because Omega thought Ospreay would. But now that Omega is looking at this angry, bewildered look on Ospreay’s face, time for the “tell” part. Omega cares about Ospreay, he means the world to him, and he wants the world for Ospreay. Does Ospreay remember that promise? The one to try their best? To become champions? How could Ospreay forget, right? But ten times outta ten, 100% of the time, Omega always puts their friendship before the belt every single time! Omega put his friendship before the belt, and doesn’t Ospreay get why?

Let’s face it! That’s the whole reason Omega let Ospreay enter the Owen Hart Cup alone! It brought Omega joy to see Ospreay’s success! Doesn’t Ospreay get that?! But then how did Ospreay repay Omega? With his voice laced in disappointment, he had said it really sucks that Omega gave up on himself. Ospreay has no idea how deep those words cut Omega. But Omega will ask Ospreay: Does he look like he gave up? Take a good look! Does THIS look like he gave up!? The fans cheer “KENNY! KENNY!” Omega shakes his head, and he says Ospreay wasn’t one to talk down to him then, and he never will be.

Even though Omega gave plenty of warnings about The Death Riders, ESPECIALLTY Moxley, Ospreay acted like he knew better! He just had to learn this lesson the hard way! What’s his excuse now that it blew up in his face?! Ospreay grabs himself a mic, and he says, “What’s my excuse? I came back too early form my neck surgery, cuz all I was thinking about was revenge. And when I finally got there, when I finally thought I had my revenge, I let it slip through my fingers. And when I lost that match, mate, I lost every bit of confidence that went alongside with it.

“See, I feel like I shortchanged you guys, and I’m sorry for that. Because I know you wanted me to walk through that curtain and be the #BillyGoat, and be the Aerial Assassin, but my body crapped out on me, and I couldn’t deliver that to them. And in that moment, in that moment, I had no friends I could turn to. No Kyle, no Davis, no Callum, I couldn’t even turn to my own hero!” Omega says he was always there and Ospreay knows it! Ospreay says who saved him? The guy who took away his old life. The guy he had so much hatred for. He gave Ospreay new life. He gave Ospreay an opportunity.

Ospreay saw that moment, he didn’t look at the guy that broke his neck. He saw a FOUR-TIME World Champion that can take him to where he always wanted to be! And you want honesty? Honestly, I liked being a Death Rider. I liked the camaraderie, I loved the training. Mate, it made me feel like the old version of me, when I used to go up and down the towns in Japan. I was going to town to town to town, and I knew I had boys watching my back. I had killers watching my back. And as I got more to know ’em, I understood why they’re so protective over this place.

“But that is where it ends. I do not share the same philosophy that the Death Riders have, and I don’t share Jon Moxley’s way that I can become a world champion. I know how I can become world champion, and that’s by being the best!” The fans cheer that! Ospreay says when he saw Omega down in the ring, chair around his neck, same as what they did to Ospreay, Ospreay couldn’t see someone that he loves go through the same thing he went through! Oh, is that what it is? Omega wants to take us back to that night, because Omega hasn’t forgotten.

There Omega was, after a grueling match defending this title, the one Ospreay cares so much about, so that he could make Ospreay’s dream come true and deliver this to him at Wembley. There Omega was, getting beat up and stomped on for minutes that felt like hours. Then he finally felt the chair, just as Ospreay did, slip down around his neck. Omega didn’t have the energy to fight back, he didn’t have the energy to slip the chair off his gosh darn self. All Omega could do was close his eyes and accept his fate. That’s when he heard it. That’s when he heard the people and the cheers. He could feel the energy. Somehow, Omega knew that Ospreay was there to save him.

And then when the minutes passed by and it felt like an eternity, Omega took the chair off. He didn’t have the energy to cry out but he stood up. When he turned around, that scene painted the whole picture and allowed Omega to understand more about Ospreay than he’s ever had to know. Ospreay was there, holding Omega’s title, with a ripped bag at his feet. The reason why it’d taken so long for Ospreay to help Omega was because he thought about doing it. And what made it even worse was that look on Ospreay’s face like he was expecting a thank you! From what?! Saving him from a trap that Ospreay set up himself!?

Ospreay says he didn’t set the trap! He had no idea they were going to- OMEGA SLAPS OSPREAY! Omega accuses Ospreay of being a liar! Omega thought Ospreay was his friend! The fans are conflicted, but Ospreay tells Omega, “I was your friend.” Oh, yeah, okay! Then what is Omega now? Just a champion? Is this all this was? Omega’s just a guy delivering the belt to him? Omega SLAPS Ospreay again! Not so tough in front of a camera now, huh? Every time Ospreay is put in the pressure cooker, he crumbles, and that is why Ospreay is NOT holding the title and Omega is, which is why Ospreay will always be behind and Omega will always be better!

Omega says in case he hasn’t gotten the point across, he SLAPS Ospreay again! Ospreay DECKS Omega! Ospreay winds up, runs up, but pulls up before hitting the Hidden Blade! Ospreay tells Omega that no matter how much he loves and respects you, you put your hands on him, he will kick the SH*T out of you, bruv! Since day one of him walking on these initials, A E W, Ospreay has filled in for what Omega wasn’t! Ospreay came here each and every week, from the UK to the US, every week, to remind them all that this is where the best wrestle! And he has EARNED his spot to challenge for that title! He has given his NECK to challenge for that title!

And standing before Ospreay is the biggest mountain to climb, one he has wanted to climb for ten YEARS! And that’s one big mountain to push the ball up, but winners want the ball! The ACE wants the ball! And Ospreay wants the ball!! The fans cheer, and Ospreay says 90 minutes are done, extra time is gone, this is penalties! And if you know anything about England and penalties, well, they’re not that good at ’em! But the difference is, it’s Ospreay’s turn to kick! Ospreay has an entire country depending on him to bring it home, and they’re asking the same question: Can he pull the trigger? Ya damn right he can!

But he won’t do it like Omega! He won’t do it from behind! He won’t do it like Moxley and hurt you before the match! No, Ospreay wants Omega at his best, no excuses, best VS best! Cuz lemme tell ya, Ospreay’s gonna pull the trigger when it matters most, when the title is on the line, and when he does pull the trigger, Omega will see it coming! The clock is ticking, and it can’t count down fast enough! Who will be ready to go All In for the top prize in AEW?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite to follow Redemption, really loaded, but I should’ve known that if it was the main event match, The Demand was gonna find a way to take those titles. Lethal Twist being used to do the dirty work fits a growing Heel faction, but I doubt Demand will return the favor when Lethal Twist wants the ROH Six Man titles, or even a fair shot at these titles from The Demand. The rest of the titles keeping status quo was expected, but great matches for it. Shida and Kris showing up made the TBS Championship wrap up quick, but still a good first defense for Maya. I wonder if we get Kris VS Perse real quick for Arena Mexico.

That was a great Triple Threat from Andrade, Jack Perry & Nick Wayne, and good plug for the Casino Gauntlet. I don’t see Andrade winning that because he has a title, and there are all kinds of possibilities, but I’m kinda hoping the Casino Gauntlet contract is MITB style. Well, it might just set things up for All Out but I guess that depends on who wins. Very good promo from Don Callis Family, and of course we’re into the next phase of dysfunction. While Fletcher and Knight are actively bickering, Okada being passive aggressive is definitely going to come back to bite Kyle. Protokada is gonna go the way of Protoshita, just not sure who wins the belt and who stays DCF.

Great Six Man Tag for DCF VS Speedball & Brodido, though. With Bailey’s side winning, pretty sure that means Kyle wins in Mexico. Also, Hangman and Brody helping Conglomeration, is Hangman going to shift into the trios division again, all because they realized the other singles titles are spoken for right now? Hangman & Brodido VS Demand will be a great match, sure, because that’s what AEW can always do. But it’s also showing they set Hangman up for a midcard run without thinking about everyone else’s runs, something else AEW always does. Great stuff with Hangman, Ospreay, and the Death Riders, though, I appreciate Hangman being as nice a guy as he can be right now.

Good promo from Bang Bang Gang, and good response from Death Riders, but damn, is Jay White really out of action again? Something AEW also does is not think through their rougher match concepts. I’m personally hoping this is a well planned swerve that takes Death Riders & Dogs off guard so White can help his guys win whatever 8 Man Tag we’re getting. Moxley VS Komander was great, and Moxley’s part of the Death Rider promo was great, but when is the day going to come when someone, even accidentally, violates the ringside ban rule? That’d be an amazing way for Moxley to lose this title after everything he just said.

And of course, great promo from Omega and Ospreay. I was upset about Omega’s Heel turn on Sunday, but they found the right motivation for it. Those slaps were great, and Ospreay having such fire in his final closing words was great. Ospreay is absolutely beating Garcia, he’s absolutely beating Davis, and as I’ve said, All In needs to be where Ospreay wins, there is no other option.

My Score: 9/10
