Backstage interview with Kenny Omega.

Renee Paquette is with The Cleaner, and Michael Nakazawa, and brings up that tonight is arguably the biggest match of Kenny’s career. If Kenny Omega defeats MJF, he is AEW World Champion once again. If Kenny Omega loses, he can never challenge for the title ever again. What is going through his mind ahead of this match? Kenny says that is such a loaded question. This is it, do or die. His back is against the wall. But y’know what? He feels like all throughout his career, that is when he’s done his best work. He’s not talking about AEW or even NJPW, he’s talking about being on the indies. Jersey All Pro, PWG, DDT, and that’s why The Young Bucks aren’t here tonight.

Kenny has no other corner men other than Nakazawa, who has stuck by him for about 20 years now. If Kenny goes out, and this is truly it, if he can never hold the AEW World Championship every again, then he will be willing to extend his hand, shake MJF’s, and congratulate him on a job well done. But trust him, it won’t be that easy. 27 years, this ain’t the same old song. 102 degrees out there in that ring. Have you ever experienced that before, MJF? Do you have it on the inside? But he warns MJF, it won’t be like Vancouver, it won’t be like last time. Kenny is ready this time. As for the rest, it’s a mystery even to Kenny, so we’ll just have to wait and see. So until the main event, he must bid us adieu. And perhaps for the last time, goodbye, mwah, and goodnight, bang. The Best Bout Machine is ready to give it his all, but will he lose it all? Or can he scorch the earth and cast down The Devil of AEW once and for all?

Chris Jericho VS Tommaso Ciampa!

The Demo God, the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla, Y2J was dared to take this serious against The Psycho Killer, so he’s ready to give Ciampa what he asked for. But will Ciampa regret asking for that side of Jericho? Or will Ciampa break the walls down and prove he’s better than the 30+ year icon?

Well, wait, Ciampa’s already setting a trap, waiting behind the palm trees on stage. Jericho makes his entrance, but not from the stage! He sneaks out from the crowd side to then sneak up on Ciampa! Ciampa realizes right as Jericho ROCKS him! The fans cheer and sing along with Judas as Jericho throws hands! Then he THROWS Ciampa into the beach chairs! Jericho then sets the chairs back up, busted as they are being cheap plastic, and he snap suplexes Ciampa onto the beach chairs! The chairs bust up and Ciampa writhes, but Jericho revels in the fans still singing along! Jericho then SMACKS Ciampa with what’s left of a beach chair!

Judas finishes up, the fans cheer, and Jericho goes back to Ciampa. Jericho CHOPS Ciampa while the fans cheer “A E DUB!” for this great start. Jericho ROCKS Ciampa, then runs him down the ramp to THROW him into the ring! The bell finally sounds and Jericho stalks Ciampa to a corner. Jericho CHOPS, then CHOPS again! Ciampa sputters and flounders but Jericho CHOKES him on the ropes! The ref counts, Jericho stops, and the fans cheer as Jericho runs to STRADDLE ATTACK! Ciampa writhes, but he manages to stand, and he takes a swing, only for Jericho to trip him up! Jericho has the legs but Ciampa fights to the ROPEBREAK!

Jericho lets go, Ciampa bails out, but Jericho climbs up the corner! SUPER CROSSBODY! Down goes Ciampa, right in front of commentary! Jericho high-fives the front row, as well as Taz, then brings Ciampa up and into the ring. But Ciampa catches Jericho in the ropes! WILLOW’S BELL! Jericho writhes from the draping DDT but Ciampa mockingly applauds. Ciampa drags Jericho up, TOSSES him back out, then KNEES him off the apron! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up the heat, even getting on the corner so everyone can see him. Ciampa then goes out to the apron, fireman’s carries, but Jericho fights free!

Jericho fires elbows, then fireman’s carries. The fans rally up for the APRON DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! Jericho stands, the fans cheer, but the ref checks Ciampa. Ciampa is able to continue so Jericho drags him up. Jericho CHOPS Ciampa, whips him into steel steps, then pushes the steps aside. The fans rally as Jericho brings Ciampa up, SMACKS him off the steps, then goes up. Jericho CLUBS Ciampa, the fans cheer him on, but Ciampa clings to the post! The two trade body shots, then Ciampa SMACKS Jericho off the post !Ciampa reels Jericho in, tucks the arms, and FAIRYTALE ENDING on the steel steps!!

The fans go nuts but Ciampa applauds himself and pats himself on the back! Ciampa then polishes the head of his fellow baldie before fetching Jericho. Jericho is bloody, but Ciampa just HAMMERS and STOMPS that wound! The fans boo as Ciampa just goes off, then he stops to high-five Taz, and to leave Schiavone hanging. The ref reprimands Ciampa, he doesn’t care, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Ciampa throws down more hands, drags Jericho up, and POSTS him! Jericho flounders, the ref hurries to check him, and Ciampa soaks up the heat. Ciampa tells the fans to “SUCK IT!” then he goes back after Jericho. Ciampa THROWS Jericho into railing! Jericho falls in a heap, and Ciampa rains down fists! Ciampa drags Jericho up, puts him in the ring, then stomps him around. Ciampa mockingly applauds again, then does the cocky cover a la Jericho, ONE! Another try, ONE! Ciampa smirks, but Jericho CHOPS him! And CHOPS again! And CHOPS again! Ciampa CHOPS back, then DECKS Jericho! Ciampa rains down more fists, right on that bloody forehead.

Jericho goes to ropes, Ciampa CHOKES him, but the ref counts. Ciampa stops and argues the count, then “apologizes” as the ref gets stern with him. But then Jericho kicks Ciampa and fires hands! Jericho whips, but Ciampa reverses to ELBOW him down! Ciampa flexes as he soaks up more heat, and Beach Break returns to single picture. Ciampa brings Jericho up as the fans rally up. Ciampa CHOPS, whips, but Jericho KICKS back! Jericho CHOPS, Ciampa CHOPS, repeat! The fans “WOO~” with every CHOP, and Jericho gets the edge! Jericho whips, LARIATS in the corner, then takes a moment before he puts Ciampa up top.

Jericho CHOPS again, then climbs up. Jericho goes to the very top, and he rains down fists! The fans count along, but Ciampa stops Jericho at nine! Ciampa then lifts, tucks, and SUPER AIR RAID CRASH! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives and the fans rally even harder now. Ciampa shakes his head, he sits Jericho up and CHOPS! And ROCKS! Ciampa fires more haymakers and more CHOPS! Ciampa flips off the fans, but Jericho trips him up! But Ciampa kicks free! Jericho staggers, Ciampa trips him, and now Ciampa works to turn Jericho over! Jericho reels Ciampa in for a cradle, TWO! Both men stagger up, Jericho runs in, but Ciampa BOOTS him!

Ciampa goes up, but Jericho ROCKS him first! Jericho goes up, up, and SUPER STEINERS! The fans fire up as Ciampa staggers away! Jericho rises, reels Ciampa in, and BRAINBSUTER! Cover, TWO! Ciampa survives but the fans rally for Jericho again. Jericho throws a haymaker, but Ciampa fires back. The fans rally as the shots go back and forth, CHOP for CHOP! The fans boo Ciampa but cheer Jericho, and the two stand up. Jericho CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, but Ciampa DECKS Jericho! Ciampa then grabs one of the buckets from the ramp! But Jericho runs up to CODE BREAKER! Sand goes flying as both men are down! Jericho crawls to a cover, TWO!

The fans rally up as Jericho rises. Jericho kicks Ciampa around, then runs, BULLDOG! And then a LIONSAULT FLOPS as Ciampa moves! PSYCHO KNEE! But Jericho sits up defiantly! Ciampa KNEES him back down! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives and Ciampa is furious! But now the kneepad comes down! Ciampa aims again, runs back in, but Jericho blocks the knee! Jericho turns Ciampa over, WALLS OF JERICHO!! The fans rally as Jericho puts on the pressure! Ciampa reaches out, crawls over, but he grabs the bucket instead of the rope! The ref snatches the bucket, but then Ciampa throws SAND in Jericho’s eye!

There was a method to the madness for the Psycho Killer, but there’s no end to the violence! Ciampa has a chair, and he HEADSHOTS Jericho!! The fans boo as Ciampa pretends to watch his homerun shot go yard. Ciampa then goes looking under the ring, and he brings out the toolbox! Ciampa dumps it out, and he grabs the POWER DRILL! The fans boo more while the refs warn Ciampa, but he intimidates them with the drill. Ciampa goes to the ring but now security gets in the way! Ciampa is really upping the “psycho” part of his nickname! But Ciampa stands down for now, and he pos a ring floatie just to make a point. Will nothing stop Ciampa from ending the legacy of Jericho?

The Brawling Birds are at the bar.

And they’re definitely putting the “Brawling” part of their team name to the test. Headbutts, knees, elbows, and even fish-hooking the nose, Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor are putting the hurt on some Florida boys. Windsor says it feels good to do that again. Hayter isn’t sure what they were thinking doing anything else. But will these two becoming Brawling Birds of prey hunting down the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships?

Backstage interview with Will Ospreay.

Renee is with the Aerial Assassin and wants to talk tonight’s main event, Kenny Omega VS MJF. The stakes could not be higher, with All In: London down the road. How does Ospreay feel this goes? Well, he’s obviously pulling for Kenny more than anything in the world, Kenny is one of the greatest of their generation, the best to ever do it. But you cannot look past Max, especially with the year he’s head, you can’t deny what’s been happening. But it’s never the talent when it comes to Max, it’s the BS, to be honest. But hopefully by the end of the night, Kenny can make it through all the antics, and we can announce the All In main event as Omega VS Ospreay.

But then MJF steps in and says yeah, no. Also, Ospreay sounded judgmental talking about MJF. That’s rude. MJF isn’t judgmental when Ospreay claims to be the best in the world when he has yet to win the AEW World Championship. MJF isn’t judgmental when Ospreay, a grown ass man, looks for the love, affection, and admiration of Jon Moxley. “I think you have it.” “Was that a compliment? Please, sir, can I have some more?” MJF doesn’t judge Ospreay’s weird love-hate relationship with Omega, and yet here’s Ospreay judging MJF when he should be thanking him. Ospreay’s living in the golden era of AEW in 2026, and there’s only one man to thank, and you’re looking at him.

But isn’t it ironic that Ospreay is running around in MJF’s company, claiming he was gonna restore the feeling? Turns out, MJF was the feeling all along, while Ospreay and Omega are just “good little wrasslers.” See, MJF is a star, he checks every single box, which is why it is so annoying that everyone is talking about Wembley Stadium being all about Will Ospreay. Will Ospreay VS Kenny Omega for MJF’s Triple B? Guess what, bud? After tonight, Omega will NEVER be able to challenge for this championship ever again! Hell, he might never be able to look in the mirror ever again. As for Ospreay and that stack of dimes he calls a neck…

Live in front of all of Ospreay’s countrymen, MJF breaks that neck and takes great pleasure in doing so in Wembley on August 30. Ospreay says MJF must’ve mixed up his mouthwash with cat piss. Take a step back. MJF could be the youngest, longest, multiple-time world champion all he wants, but there is a lot of people who can say the talent didn’t beat them, nor the BS that comes with MJF. MJF, you can be this or that, but the best? You don’t even crack the top 50! There are Japanese girls in high school who could beat MJF. Y’know what MJF really is? A beggar. He walks into every single arena expecting people to tell him how special he is.

All MJF wants is to be part of the conversation. When in reality, until MJF does it on his own, ditches all the antics, he’s not gonna be in the conversation, and he never will be. MJF SPITS in Ospreay’s face! So Ospreay BOOTS MJF! They throw hands, security rushes in, and MJF shouts, “I’M THE CHAMP! I’M THE CHAMP!” MJF vows Kenny Omega is a dead man and it’ll be on Ospreay! Will nothing stop Maxwell Jacob Friedman from banishing Omega from the world title scene? Or will his emotions get the better of him in this summer heat?

AEW International Championship: Konosuke Takeshita VS Kyle Fletcher w/ Don Callis & Lance Archer!

Once upon a time, #ProtoShita planned on taking over AEW as brothers in the Don Callis Family, but that very “family” tore them apart. Konosuke took this title from Kazuchika Okada but Kyle vows to take it back, will the Don Callis Family truly prune this branch from the family tree? Or will The Alpha prove he never needed the family in the first place?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who was the true alpha all along!

The bell rings and the fans fire up already as the two stare down. The two slowly circle, then tie up. They’re in a deadlock, but Konosuke powers Kyle to the ropes. Kyle turns things around, the ref counts, and Kyle backs up. Kyle shoves Konosuke, the fans boo, and the two tie up again. Konosuke waistlocks, Kyle wrenches free to wristlock, and the fans already tell Callis off. Konosuke rolls, but Kyle wrangles him to an armlock! Konosuke fights up, slips through, and wrenches to wristlock. Kyle rolls, wrenches, and ELBOW BREAKERS! Kyle headlocks, Konosuke powers up and out, but Kyle RAMS Konosuke!

Konosuke doesn’t budge, but Kyle headlocks again. Konosuke powers up and out, then headlocks in return. Kyle powers up and out, they RAM shoulders again, then stare down. Kyle SLAPS Konosuke! The fans are torn but Konosuke fires a forearm! Kyle fires back, they go shot for shot, and the fans fire up! Kyle kicks low, suplexes, but Konosuke slips free! Konosuke spins Kyle but Kyle fights the suplex! Kyle slips around to half nelson, but Konosuke ELBOWS free. Konosuke whips, Kyle reverses, but the TAKESHITA LINE finds Kyle! The fans fire up while both men are down. Konosuke stalks Kyle to a corner, then throws hands.

Konosuke whips corner to corner, runs up, and ROCKS Kyle! Konosuke climbs up, rains down fists, and fans count along! Konosuke goes to nine, winds up, and ROCKS Kyle with the tenth! Konosuke then stalks Kyle, whips, but Kyle blocks by holding ropes. Konosuke UPPERCUTS Kyle, whips, but Kyle reverses. Kyle then dodges Konosuke to RUN him over! Kyle keeps moving and he BOOTS Konosuke outta the ring! Kyle then goes to the apron, PENALTY KICK! The fans are torn but Kyle then gets himself some water to hydrate. But Konosuke ALPHA ELBOWS the water outta Kyle’s mouth! Konosuke hydrates and does the HHH spit while the fans fire up!

Konosuke then warns Callis, Callis warns Konosuke back, and Archer is also there. The fans tell Callis off again, but Konosuke goes back for Kyle. Konosuke winds up, but Kyle ducks! The elbow hits POST! Kyle then hurries to get that arm, wrench, and ELBOW BREAKER! ELBOW BREAKER! And then hammerlock and APRON BACK SUPLEX! Konosuke writhes but Kyle flexes, then Kyle goes into the ring to rain down fists! The ref reprimands, Kyle stops at 4, and the fans are torn. Kyle storms around, brings Konosuke up, and wrenches to an ELBOW BREAKER! The fans boo, but Kyle wrenches to another ELBOW BREAKER!

Kyle mockingly coaches Konosuke up, then wrenches to- SLEEPER from Konosuke! The fans fire up as Kyle endures, and he pries the hold open. Kyle bends the fingers, then hits another ELBOW BREAKER! Kyle runs, but Konosuke clinches! EXPLODER! The fans fire up while Kyle tumbles out of the ring. Konosuke powers up, builds speed, and FLIES! Down goes Kyle and the fans fire up again! The ref checks on both Konosuke and Kyle while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Konosuke clutches the bad arm, but he’s able to continue. Konosuke sits up, then rises up, and he hobbles over to Kyle. Konosuke drags Kyle up, brings him around, and whips him into railing. Konosuke then gets space, runs back in, and HELLUVA KICKS Kyle over the railing! The fans in the front row are getting a real good look at the action now, and Konosuke drags Kyle back up and over the railing. Konosuke puts Kyle in the ring, then storms up, but into a scoop and SLAM! Kyle turns things around in an instant, and he smirks as he leans against the ropes. Kyle stalks Konosuke, isolates the bad arm, then STOMPS it!

Kyle goes to the apron, climbs a corner, but Konosuke rises first! Konosuke manages to UPPERCUT, even with the bad arm, and he climbs the corner. Konosuke stalling SUPERPLEXES as Beach Break returns to single picture! The fans fire up while both men are down again, and a standing count begins. Kyle stirs at 3 of 10, Konosuke follows after, and they meet at center. They stand to fire forearms back and forth! The fans cheer Konosuke, boo Kyle, and Callis claims Konosuke was always jealous of Kyle! Excalibur points out that it seemed more like Okada was jealous of Konosuke. Konosuke fires a flurry of shots, but Kyle BOOTS back!

Konosuke BOOTS Kyle, Kyle rebounds, but Konosuke BOOTS again! Konosuke whips, Kyle reverses, TAKESHITA LINE meets SUPERKICK! Kyle then wants Konosuke to get up! Konosuke runs in, but Konosuke dodges and BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Both men are down again and the fans are all fired up! Callis is anxious as the standing count starts again. Kyle and Konosuke stir at 4 of 10, but Konosuke sits up at 5. Kyle goes to the apron, “This is Awesome!” as Konosuke storms over that way. Konosuke joins Kyle on the apron, brings him up, and he suplexes, but Kyle fights it! Kyle suplexes but Konosuke fights it!

Konosuke wrenches, reels Kyle in, but Kyle fights the bomb this time! SUPERKICK! Then he reels Konosuke in, suplexes, but Konosuke slips free! Dragon sleeper and a gut wrench! And a tuck! APRON BASTARD DRIVER!! And then WHEELBARROW GERMAN ON THE APRON!! The fans are going nuts and Callis is shocked seeing both men fall to the floor! Konosuke rises up, fires up, and the fans are with him! Konosuke puts Kyle in the ring, takes aim from a corner, and WAGAMAMA- NO! Kyle scoops, but Konosuke slips free! POISON-RANA! Kyle staggers, Konosuke runs in, but Kyle scoops and MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO!!

The fans are thunderous but Callis is furious as Konosuke survives! Kyle drags Konosuke back up, winds up, but Konosuke ducks, dodges, and LARIATS! The fans fire up again, and Konosuke scoops Kyle to SLAM him down! Konosuke vows to end it now, and he goes up the corner. The fans cheer Konosuke on, but Kyle springs up to get him! But Konosuke fires body shots and a HEADBUTT! Kyle staggers back, but then he GAMANGIRIS! Kyle climbs back up, brings Konosuke to the top, but Konosuke SUNSET FLIPS! Kyle flails, but Konosuke still hits the LAST RIDE!! But that isn’t the end, as Konosuke takes aim again!

But Callis swipes at Konosuke! The fans boo but the GAMANGIRI hits! Kyle suplexes, Konosuke fights it! Konosuke suplexes, but Kyle fights it! Kyle wrenches free, CLUBS the arm, then reels Konosuke back in! But Konosuke hits RAGING FIRE first!! The fans fire up but Konosuke can’t make the cover! Konosuke crawls, pushes Kyle over, then slumps onto the cover, ROPEBREAK!! Kyle survives by a literal foot! Konosuke stays focused, and he brings his kneepad down. Kyle rises up, into a BARE- NO, Kyle wheelbarrows to victory roll! TWO, and Kyle slips around to hook the arms! They fight for control, and Konosuke backslides!

But Kyle rolls through! PENALTY KICK to the bad arm! SUPERKICK! Then the suplex! BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Konosuke survives and shocks everyone! Kyle and Konosuke go to corners, Kyle runs up, ENZIGIRI! Then he puts Konosuke up top, climbs up there to join him, and they fire some body shots. Kyle still suplexes, TOP ROPE BRAINBUSTER!!! Cover, KYLE WINS!!

Winner: Kyle Fletcher, by pinfall (NEW AEW International Champion)

Callis laughs maniacally as he leaves commentary to celebrate with his newest golden boy. The rest of the family hurries out here to join in, from Brian Cage to Mark Davis to Jake Doyle. Kyle holds the title up high, but The Conglomeration and Mistico hurry to make sure Konosuke is okay. The Callis Family has the International Championship back again, will they soon take everything for their own? Or can Konosuke have his redemption?

Mick Foley is here!

The Don Callis Family is still hanging out in the ring, so the hardcore legend is looking to show he can be AEW’s newest news correspondent. The fans cheer as Foley gets a mic, much to the confusion of Callis. Foley thanks the fans for that greeting, but he says this moment is not about him. This moment is about this young man, the NEW International Champion, Kyle Fletcher. Foley says that was one of the finest matches he’s seen. He wants Kyle to take us behind the scenes, as it were, into his head during that match. What was it like to not only battle but defeat your former best friend, Konosuke Takeshita?

Kyle says he’ll stop Mick right there. Konosuke was never Kyle’s best friend. The fans boo that, but Kyle says he was always the number one in ProtoShita, and Konosuke was simply riding Kyle’s coattails! Kyle did what he and Okada, #Protokada, promised they’d do, and he took back the International Championship back to the Don Callis Family! The fans boo again, but Callis cuts Foley off. This segment is a celebration for the family! Not for Foley stealing the spotlight from the young, real talent in AEW. Foley tells Callis they should talk about a subject Callis knows little about: Credibility.

See, when Foley comes out and says that was one of the finest matches he’s ever seen, he means it! When Foley says Kyle is one of the best young talents he’s ever seen, he means it! But let’s draw the attention momentarily away from Kyle and put them on… Foley’s shoes! Yes, his custom painted shoes dedicated to his late dog, Randal. They lost him a year-and-a-half ago, but wearing these shoes, instead of feeling pain and suffering, Foley feels great with every step he takes. And then this other one is Wupple, she’s alive and well. And what Foley needs to tell Callis is, the next time Callis disrespects Foley, Wupple is gonna get really well acquainted with the inner confines of Callis’ ass!

Kyle tells Foley to back off, Callis says how DARE you! He is a family man! And the manager of champions! International Champion, Kyle Fletcher! National Champion, Mark Davis! And yes, the TNT Champion, The Jet, Kevin Knight! Knight makes his entrance now, and he says whoa, whoa, whoa! Kyle, congratulations on becoming the new International Champion and finally bringing the gold back to the DCF. Welcome to the club! Took him long enough. Now, speaking of bringing gold to the family, let’s talk about how The Jet is still owed a world title shot! The only reason he walked through Death’s Door, the only reason he risked his life, is because he wants that shot!

Knight says whether it is Kenny Omega or Maxwell Jacob Fraud-man, The Jet will be watching closely! Because #Jet2Belts is on the way. But then ANDRADE EL IDOLO is here! Another former member of the family steps out on stage, mic in hand. How is he able to wear that coat and suit in this heat? Andrade smiles, and the fans already chant “How You Know?” Andrade tells Callis that Andrade was the best in the family, and Callis messed it up! Callis promised Andrade the world championship. Now, Andrade promises Callis that he will take a belt from them. Callis says he had to endure months of Andrade’s obsession, so tell you what, pendejo!

If Andrade wants a belt, guess what? If Andrade can beat Jake Doyle, he can get into the meat grinder and challenge Mark Davis for his National Championship! Not that he’s making it through Doyle. Andrade says, “Escuchame, estupido! Do you want to attack me? Tranquilo, tranquilo. I have one question.” The fans cheer again, and Andrade smiles as he says, “How you know?” Andrade eggs the entire family on, the big men give chase, but Andrade heads backstage. The teams sort out and Moxley starts against Henry. They circle, tie up, and Moxley waistlocks. Henry switches, Moxley drop toeholds, and Moxley floats to a facelock. Henry wrenches out to trap one arm and pull on the other. Henry focuses on the hammerlock, Moxley fights up, and Moxley switches the hammerlock onto Henry. Moxley headlocks, then wrenches to ELBOW BREAKER again and again. Henry spins, rolls, kips up, and wrenches to then step over and arm-drag! Moxley gets up but Henry eggs him on. The fans boo Henry but Moxley circles with him. They feel things out, then Moxley CHOPS Henry down!

Moxley CHOPS Henry again, and again, but Henry SOBATS! Henry tags Drake, Drake storms up on Moxley and CHOPS! Moxley falls back, staggers back up, but Drake CHOPS again! Drake stalks Moxley to a corner, then runs in, but Moxley BOOTS him away. Moxley CHOPS Drake, ROCKS him, and repeat! Moxley headlocks, but Henry tags in as Drake powers up and out. Ospreay CHPOS Henry, brings him around, and UPERCUTS again. Ospreay CHOPS again, then whips, but Henry reverses. Ospreay uses that to BLAST Drake off the apron! Drake swings, Ospreay dodges, but then Drake pops Ospreay up to ROCK him! Henry adds a PENALTY KICK and down goes Ospreay! The Workhorsemen soak up the heat, then Henry drags Ospreay up. Ospreay puts Henry in the ring, throws down hands, then traps Ospreay for a NECK TWIST! But Ospreay makes it a sunset flip!? TWO and Henry lets Ospreay go. The chairs are put in the ring, and then Skye SMACKS security with her kendo stick! Thekla loves it! Another guard gets a shot, and then another, and another! Talk about madness! Julia & Skye do what they want while Beach Break goes picture in picture.

Julia & Skye find female security guards, and they hit STEREO DDTS on the floor! The refs reprimand but nothing can be done about what these two Sisters of Sin are up to. Skye stomps away on Maya while Julia CHOKES Rina! Athena is there, and she SMACKS Maya with the trash can lid! Athena then goes into the ring, stalks behind Julia as she ties up Rina, but Mina goes after Skye! Mina fires up, stalks Skye, but Julia JAWBREAKERS Athena! And DDTS! Cover, but Rina breaks it! Renee Paquette notes it has been roughly one month since #JetSpeed broke up, but what is next for him? AEW World Championship: MJF VS Kenny Omega!

As for MJF, he gives Justin Roberts a paper to read. “He is not from Filthy Florida, the Land of Racism and Incest. He is the man who kicked out of the One Winged Angel like it was nothing. He is the man who will end Kenny Omega’s legacy. He is your THREE-TIME reigning and defending All Elite Wrestling Wooooorld Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, M J F!” The banner falls, the belt is raised, and we see who goes all in tonight!

The fans already chant, “F HIM UP, KENNY, F HIM UP!” as the tension builds. The bell rings, the two run up, but MJF dodges Kenny! Kenny hits buckles but the two start throwing hands! The fans cheer Kenny, boo MJF, and repeat as they go faster and faster. Kenny gets the edge, but MJF throat chops! The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. MJF back suplexes, Kenny lands out, but then tumbles before he comes back for the full nelson. MJF breaks that but Kenny SNAP GERMANS! Kenny Electric Chair Lifts but MJF CLAWS the eyes! MJF RANAS Kenny up and out and even into the desk! The ref checks but Kenny is able to continue.

MJF tries to run away?! The fans boo but Kenny pursues into the crowd! Kenny CLUBS MJF, the fans fire up, and Kenny fires off on MJF in front of the back rows. The ref reprimands but he doesn’t start a count as we go deeper into the crowd. Kenny CHOPS MJF, but MJF CLAWS Omega! MJF tells fans to move aside, then he lines up a shot. But then MJF trolls the fans by pushing Kenny down. MJF stands on the chairs, soaks up the heat, and he goes back to Kenny. Kenny fires hands, and he has the fans move aside! Kenny winds up and BOWLS MJF into the chairs! STRIKE here in BayCare Sound and the fans are loving it!

Kenny drags MJF up, brings him back around, and the fans cheer as Kenny SMACKS MJF off a chair! Kenny then brings MJF along, CLUBS him down, and the fans cheer “A E DUB!” as things return to ringside! Kenny DUMPS MJF over barriers, and inadvertently onto a chair. Kenny drags MJF up, brings him around, and SMACKS him off the apron. MJF rolls into the ring, Kenny takes aim, BANG! Kenny runs the ropes, but MJF uses the ref as a shield! The fans boo, but MJF TACKLES Kenny! MJF rains down fists! And he BITES Kenny’s face! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but MJF stops just to soak up more heat.

Kenny goes to the apron, and MJF says he’s moonwalking his way to Wembley, whether you like it or not! MJF CLAWS Kenny’s back, then has him in the ropes. MJF BITES Kenny’s face again, then stops to soak up more heat. MJF reels Kenny in again, slashes his throat, and HEAT- NO, Kenny throws MJF away! But MJF SLINGSHOTS Omega into the CUTTER! Cover, TWO!! Kenny survives, bails out to the ramp, and MJF seethes. MJF storms his way over, brings MJF in, and CHOKES him on the ropes! The ref counts, MJF stops, and MJF does push-ups just to mock everyone. The fans boo, but MJF says this is why he’s a three-time world champion.

MJF goes back to Kenny, but Kenny pushes free. Kenny goes further up the ramp and MJF smirks. MJF stalks Kenny, CLUBS him along, and they go to the stage now. MJF brings Kenny around, ROCKS him, then goes for the lifeguard tower! Kenny stops himself to then SMACK MJF off the tower! Kenny goes up the tower to ARIHARA MOONSAULT onto the sand! The fans fire up for Kenny as he is definitely taking risks during this gamble of a grudge match. Kenny blinks out some sand from his eye, then drags MJF back to the ring. The fans cheer Kenny as he tosses MJF back in. Kenny climbs up the corner, and he BLINDSIDE MISSILE DROPKICKS!

The fans fire up as MJF tumbles, but MJF tumbles out of the ring! MJF crawls around the way, but Kenny starts the Terminator Drums. The fans join in, Kenny builds speed, and he FLIES! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up again! Kenny high-fives the front row, then puts MJF back in. Kenny hurries in, runs the ropes, and KOTARO KRUSHER! Then a fisherman and BLUE SHADOW! MJF ends up on ropes, Kenny runs, but MJF drop toeholds him into ropes! A wicked hotshot takes Kenny down, but he and MJF slowly rise up. MJF runs in, Kenny dodges, SNAP DRAGON! MJF staggers to his feet, Kenny runs up, but into a MULE KICK! KNEE LIFT! ROLLING ELBOW!

Kenny rebounds, V-TRIGGER! MJF rebounds, ducks ‘n’ dodges, and DOUBLE LARIATS bring both men down! The fans fire up for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” again as Kenny and MJF stir. The fans start dueling, but MJF runs up on Kenny! Kenny goes up and over, comes back, but into the POWER BREAKER! And then a tuck for a PACKAGE PILEDRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Kenny survives MJF fighting like a Prizefighter, and the fans rally up again. Kenny goes to the apron, MJF pursues, and the fans rally up again. MJF clears the desk, and the fans are a bit torn on this. MJF drags Kenny up as the ref reprimands, but MJF still gut wrenches Kenny!

MJF aims, but Kenny slips free! Kenny ROCKS MJF, MJF wobbles on the edge, but Kenny ROCKS him again! MJF holds onto the ropes, but Kenny runs and V-TRIGGERS MJF onto and THROUGH the desk!! The fans lose their minds as Beach Break goes picture in picture!

Kenny rolls outside while MJF tries to get free of the wreckage. Kenny grabs some water, washes the sand off his face and out of his eyes, then rehydrates. MJF is free of the destroyed desk, but Kenny still needs to flush out some stubborn sand. Kenny gives MJF a refresher, too! MJF sputters while Kenny leaves him behind. Kenny wipes his face, still working on that sand. It’s coarse and it gets everywhere. Kenny then pushes MJF into the ring, just to refresh the ring count. Kenny then drags MJF out to CHOP! MJF flounders, crawls, but Kenny stalks him. Kenny drags MJF up, SMACKS him off the apron, then puts him back in the ring.

Kenny leans on the ropes to catch his breath, and he still has to blink that sand out of his eye. Kenny drags MJF up but MJF HOTSHOTS Kenny down! MJF gets a breather for himself while Beach Break returns to single picture. Kenny snarls as he rises back up, drags MJF out to join him, and CHOPS! MJF flounders, Kenny brings him up, and CLUBS him. And CLUBS him! Kenny reels MJF into the Electric Chair! But MJF grabs at the ropes! MJF then CLAWS Kenny’s face! Kenny fires hands on MJF and MJF falls back into the ring! Kenny stumbles, MJF hurries outside, but Kenny ROCKS and CHOPS MJF first!

The fans fire up as Kenny gives a thumbs up, and he fireman’s carries MJF. “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” ROLLING SENTON on the floor! Kenny then goes up the railing, fans cheering him on, for the MOONSAULT, onto knees! MJF turns things around, and he brings Kenny over. MJF scoops for the gut wrench, and he runs up to TOMBSTONE on the chair!! Kenny falls over but so does MJF. MJF clutches his knees, the fans duel, but Kenny rises up. MJF brings Kenny around, puts him in the ring, then brings him through the ropes! MJF slashes his throat, for the HEAT- NO, Kenny throws MJF away! MJF hobbles from his knee jamming up!

Kenny aims, BANG, then runs, but Kenny stumbles! MJF tries to run, but his leg gives up! V-TRIGGER!! The fans fire up again as Kenny Electric Chair Lifts! But MJF fights with desperation! Then Kenny hoists MJF up top, climbs up after him, and he wants a full nelson! MJF resists but Kenny SLAPS him on the back again and again! Kenny decides to then Electric Chair Lift! MJF is so high up, but he uses it to SUPER POISON-RANA!! MJF hobbles, but he manages to put Kenny through ropes!

MJF hits the HEATSEEKER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Kenny survives and shocks everyone, especially MJF! The fans duel as hard as they can, with Team Kenny outweighing Team MJF 70-30! MJF hobbles outside the ring, he grabs his title, and he brings it into the ring. The ref stops MJF, tells him to hand it over, and MJF obliges. But that’s so he can bring out the Dynamite Diamond Ring! BUT OSPREAY RUSHES OUT HERE! Ospreay SNATCHES the ring! The fans cheer, MJF is freaking out, and now Kenny has the belt?! But then he hesitates?! The fans say do it! Kenny says no, but then MJF LOW BLOWS! BELT SHOT!!! The fans boo as MJF covers, ONE?!?!?!

The fans are going nuts again and MJF has seen a ghost! Or maybe it’s the Holy Spirit of Wrestling! Even Ospreay is shocked! MJF throws hands on Omega, but Kenny fires back! The fans fire up as Kenny fires off shot after shot after shot, then stomp after stomp! Kenny stops, loads up, and V-TRIGGER!! Then another V-TRIGGER!! Kenny huffs ‘n’ puffs but the fans want a hattrick! Kenny runs again, V-TRIGGER!! Kenny then drags MJF up, Electric Chair Lifts, and ONE WINGED ANGEL!!! Cover, KENNY WINS!!!

Winner: Kenny Omega, by pinfall (NEW AEW World Champion)

Clearwater joyously erupts as Kenny Omega is once again the best of AEW! And now, the graphic shows it will be Omega VS Ospreay for All In! But there’s still so much time between then and now, will MJF look for his Redemption?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Beach Break event, and if not for Ospreay & Moxley VS Workhorsemen as absolute filler, this might’ve been one of the best episodes of the year. We already got Ospreay and MJF interacting backstage to add heat to the main event and to give reason for Ospreay going out there to stop MJF from cheating, it could’ve been Moxley VS literally anyone in a title eliminator to at least keep the ball rolling for Moxley on his own. Ospreay should’ve instead done a filler win on Collision, but I guess he’s already too important for the Saturday show. But speaking of that main event, it was awesome, bordered on PPV level, and again with Ospreay making sure MJF couldn’t cheat, I’m very happy to see Omega win out and once again be champion.

Now, what’s weird, and it isn’t just AEW that does this, but the fact they’re kinda overlooking the new PPV they’ve introduced in regards to the Men’s World Championship story is weird. Yes, Ospreay VS Omega for All In is the big ticket seller, but we gotta remember that Redemption is a roadblock to that story. Omega winning here when it was all or nothing is great, had to be done that way. But now, MJF can make up any excuse he wants to get his rematch at Redemption, which is a fitting name given how he just lost but also the continued Wrestling God VS Wrestling Devil theme. Omega VS MJF 4 so soon would be a bit wild, but it’d make sense if Canadian wrestler Omega had a big time title match in Canada, so someone’s gonna try and take that world title.

Awesome International Championship match, as well, and I partly did not expect Kyle Fletcher to win out. But again, there’s Redemption and maybe Konosuke gets his rematch there. It’d make sense since Don Callis deflects Andrade’s challenge over to the National Championship rather than the International or TNT Championships. Good stuff from Mick Foley with the interview promo, and good brawl backstage. Andrade surely beats Doyle to get his shot at Davis for Redemption, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Andrade & Darby VS Davis & Doyle as part of the build. The Conglomeration might even have one more go with Don Callis Family where they send the hosses, Doyle, Cage & Archer, after them in a rare 3v3 David VS Goliath scenario.

Great stuff from Ciampa VS Jericho to start the night, including Ciampa’s sneak attack being foiled by Jericho’s sneak attack. Using the sand to his advantage was a clever move from Ciampa, and him winning tonight goes in line with what I was expecting. Jericho surely wins the rematch, maybe at Redemption since again, AEW will be in Canada, Jericho’s Canadian, it’d be good for the crowd to cheer Jericho in a win. Very good promo from Shida, and I would think she and Kris Statlander continue their feud as we head for Redemption, again a fitting name since Stat will want to win back that TBS title and get even with Shida for everything.

Fun little vignette from the Brawling Birds getting back to brawling, and hopefully this means they actually get a chance at the tag titles. TK had them weirdly each go for the world title when uh, duh, they’re a tag team, they should’ve been after the tag titles the whole time. But another great Casino Gauntlet, and what a great surprise from Willow to return like this. Great win for Willow, and then an intriguing move for Mone to have Divine Dominion more or less back her up against Willow and Triangle of Madness. Heels VS Heels is always fun to see, and maybe we get a Six Woman Tag of Mone, Megan & Lena VS Triangle of Madness as we head for Redemption.

Willow VS Thekla is going to be awesome, and it’d be rather ironic if Willow wins the title at Redemption. She missed out on being a two-time Queen of Harts, but she could still get the top title and a match at Wembley because she’ll defend against Mone.
