Winners: Juice Robinson & Ace Austin, by pinfall
Guns up, indeed! That’s 3-0 in a row for Ace & Juice! Will they soon be aiming for those ROH World Tag Team Championships? Or do they still need to clear a path to the top?
Lio Rush speaks.
He again scutters around the ROH World Television Championship. “Cuts! No no no no no. Cuts! It’s fine…! The rain! It came. He came!” Lio claws at the belt as he says, “Cuts, cuts, cuts!” And then, there’s a black slime coming from it. “It’s fine! No, it’s fine! Shadow. It’s shadow! No no no no no…! No no no no no! The rain! The rain! The rain! No!” Lio’s darkness continues to shine, but how much deeper can he go?
Caprice Coleman Chops It Up with Action Andretti.
Coleman sits down with The Sight to See, and he says a lot has been going on in ROH. He wants to ask a question, not everyone means it when they ask it, but Coleman will ask and then leave Action alone How is Action doing? Action says he’s alright. He doesn’t really feel like doing this show, he’s watched these interviews and think they suck. It isn’t all on Coleman, it’s mainly his guests, they’re pretty lame. But they finally came to their senses and invited a real star. You’re welcome that he’s here. Oh, so this will be the best one yet then? Action says yes, it’ll be the best one because The Sight to See is the guest on… What is this again? Chop It Up.
Right, the Sight to See is the special guest on Chop It Up. Lame name but whatever. Coleman says okay, another question. Relationships. What is a good relationship for a friend? We’ve seen this situation, and at one time, Action & Lio were best of friends as CRU. They were riding together, the gear was fresh, what happened? Action says what makes a good friendship is someone you can trust, someone who has your back, and Action thought he could trust Lio. But when Lio just outta nowhere turns into this “Black Heart,” outta nowhere, the guy who was ride or die, now he’s a whole different person. Action knows Lio, he doesn’t know Black Heart.
Coleman says yeah, but weren’t there signs? Action didn’t see anything? Action says Lio is a crazy guy, but he didn’t think he was this crazy! Action can’t associate with weirdos. Coleman says he thought there was a time Action was reaching out to Lio, Action seemed like he was being a friend to Lio. Action says yeah, it wasn’t a thought, it was fact that he was being a friend. Coleman says he wanted to commend Action on that, because that’s what a real friend does, but then the phone calls weren’t being returned, ignored, or what? Action says he was being ignored in a total hole. No phone call, no personal interaction.
Any time Action is backstage, Lio avoided him. Action just wanted a conversation to ask what was up. Why was Lio like this? Are they still cool? Are they still CRU? Nothing! Coleman asks about Lacey Lane, and Action says pff, she and Lio do go back a ways. When Lacey joined CRU, Action was just getting to meet. He likes Lacey, she has potential, but he was sure she was pissed, too. She entered the CRU, they were a hot team, and she was one of them. She felt on top of the world! Lacey, Lio, Action, they could be big in AEW. And then like that, no more CRU. Coleman asks when Action reached his moment of where he was done with it.
When he kept getting ignored! Call after call, nothing. Action won’t just sit on the sidelines, wait and watch as Lio is this creepy little monster. Action took matters into his own hand. Coleman gets that, it’s straight up Action. What is this new side of Action Andretti? Action says it’s crazy we say “new,” but this has always been him. He’s always been a superstar. Lights, Camera, Action! The slickest and the quickest, and nobody, especially Lio, is on his level. But what if Lio is everything that he’s always been, same as Action, but they couldn’t be that together? Action says maybe Coleman nailed something. Maybe all this was just meant to be.
Maybe they weren’t meant to be CRU. Maybe Lio was always meant to be Black Heart while Action was always meant to be the good-looking superstar that he is. Coleman wishes Action the best of luck. Action says he doesn’t need luck, but he thanks Coleman. Coleman wants to shake hands, but Action says no, he doesn’t wanna touch hands. Bad attitude aside, will Action take the necessary actions to make himself a champion?
Six Man Tag: The Lethal Twist VS Serpentico & Los Colons!
A lot of trios want after Dalton Castle & The Outrunners over those ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championships, and none hungrier than these trios. Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson feel a bit too entitled to their opportunity, but will they prove they’re worthy with a win? Or will Los Boricuas get the better of them?
The trios sort out, and The Franchise starts against #SNAKEMAN. The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and the fans rally up. Orlando tags Serpentico, Los Colons double whip Lethal, then drop, hurdle, and repeat! They DOUBLE HIP TOSS Lethal, then sit him up for Serpentico’s SUPERKICK! Cover, TWO! Lethal survives, but Serpentico keeps him from The Swirl. Serpentico tags Eddie and Eddie JABS Lethal!

Lee drop toeholds Orlando for Blake to basement Tiger Feint! Then he QUEBRADAS out onto Orlando! Lee BLASTS Serpentico, then goes back to Orlando to stomp him. Lee rains down fists, the ref reprimands, so Lee shifts to elbows and forearms!

But Lethal is in, clinches, LETHAL COMBINATION!

Serpentico dodges to SUPERKICK! But Lethal drags Eddie out, and Lee wrenches free to SNATCH the mask! The fans boo but Lee rolls Serpentico up, Lethal Twist win!
Winners: The Lethal Twist, by pinfall
The fans boo Big Shotty’s disrespect, but he and the team are willing to do whatever it takes to win. Blake even wears the stolen mask just to rub it in! But will The Lethal Twist show no respect as they continue to climb the ranks of ROH? Or will someone find a way to humble them all?
Il Cartello Grillo speaks.
Rosario Grillo himself says, “Gavones and Gavettes, I have not had the pleasure of introducing myself to you. Even though I’ve been around the block here a few times, allow me to take the opportunity to properly introduce myself. To some, I’m Calabria’s favorite son. To others, I’m the Big Cannoli. And at your mother’s, they call me at night. But you may refer to me as Rosario Grillo. And like I said, I’ve been around the block here a few times, but I was missing something. I had tag teams, I had trios, but there’s always that something missing. And then I found it: My family.
“We got the Capo, KJ Impala, he’s the muscle, he gone take you out before you even see it coming. And the kid, Hayden Seal? He’s gonna be spinning your head around that ring so fast, you’re gonna be throwing up left, right, up, and down. And now that we are here in ROH, and I have my family with me, I think it’s time for a takeover.” Seal tells KJ to tell ’em why. KJ says because it’s always about Il Cartello Grillo. Capiche? Mwah! Will it be chef’s kiss for Rosario and his family here in ROH?
ROH World Championship: Bandido VS Bryan Keith!
The Most Wanted may not be undefeated, but he’s always found a way to win when the gold is on the line! He’s faced The Bounty Hunter and came away the winner a few times now, but could tonight be the night? Could tonight be the night Bryan Keith gets his man?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who wins this shootout!

Winner: Bandido, by pinfall (still ROH World Champion)
In the blink of an eye, Bandido snatches victory from the jaws of defeat! But the fighting champion will have to keep on fighting, because now he has a Collision with Katsuyori Shibata! Virginia may be for lovers, but will it also be for Outlaws like Bandido? Or will it and the title belong to The Wrestler?
My Thoughts:
A very good episode, though why it was two hours again, no idea. I will say, ROH has ways of making filler fun, like Singh beating up on hefty Bruss Hamilton, Bang Bang Gang getting a solid win off GYV, and Kelsey Raegan having a great showing against Isla Dawn. But all outcomes were pretty much expected, including Bandido winning over Bryan Keith in a great main event. I will also say, great seeing Tehuti Miles (formerly Ashante THEE Adonis) showing up somewhere. STP showed up after the match and it seems like they like his style. It’d be fitting to add one more singles guy to the ranks so he can go after the TV title while Shane Taylor focuses on the top title.
Though speaking of the TV title, clearly we’re still heading to Lio VS Action to fully settle their CRU fallout. I do appreciate this week’s Chop It Up for Action to frame how he sees that whole situation. And it did seem a real shame that CRU was never given a full opportunity to be something and they just jumped into Black Heart/Problem Child Lio Rush here. If AEW/ROH planned things out even a little better, we would’ve gotten a slow progression into this character “born from the frustrations of always losing,” but whatever. Fans still like Lio’s new persona, he does a great job with it, and it did get him to the TV title.
My Score: 8.5/10
