BROCK LESNAR is here!

The fans erupt as The Beast has come to Dallas! Paul Heyman follows behind, but so does local police. Heyman & Lesnar go to the ring, and the fans already chant for “O~BA! HOOT!” Heyman of course starts with his introductions, and he introduces “The Champion of the Cage, the Beast of the Brocktagon, BRRROCK! LESNARRR!” Heyman also wants to call our attention to the fine, upstanding gentlemen of the Dallas PD. Heyman knows the fans are wondering why the cops are here, and while that is a valid question, the answer is: Oba Femi. The fans boo the police but cheer for “O~BA! HOOT!”

Heyman says Oba Femi turned down a guaranteed title match against either champion because that’s how obsessed he is with Brock Lesnar. Think the enormity of that statement. Oba turned down the opportunity to face either top champion at SummerSlam, all to face Lesnar, and that is stalker level obsession. That is clinger number nine territory. Oba Femi is not just a clinger, he’s not just obsessed, he’s not just a stalker, he’s the biggest dummy Heyman’s met in his entire life. Boo that all you want, but you know Heyman’s telling the truth. Oba isn’t just a big dummy, he’s a really, really, really, really, really big Nigerian dummy that turned down his opportunity because he’s a psycho ex-girlfriend coming after Lesnar!

The fans continue to chant for Oba, but Heyman wants to be honest with us: He’s used to people being obsessed with Lesnar. Everyone wants their shootout in the OK Corral. Everyone likes to talk s*it. And then they get hit! And then, once they get hit by Brock Lesnar, they’re not so obsessed anymore. So there’s a bigger problem at hand, and it’s not just Oba Femi’s obsession with Lesnar. Heyman’s client is obsessed with Oba Femi. And ladies and gentlemen, that scares Heyman half to death. Heyman called Lesnar on his hunting trip, asked him how that was going, and Lesnar said he couldn’t wait to get inside Hell in a Cell with Oba Femi!

Heyman calls when Lesnar’s in training camp, and Lesnar can’t wait to get inside HIAC! There are a lot of people that were obsessed with Lesnar. Lesnar obsessed with anyone is unhealthy. Lesnar obsessed with Oba leads to something Dallas is used to: Violence! Oba Femi may be willing to throw away title shots, and Lesnar is willing to beat Oba to the ground, but Heyman wants to protect his money! That’s what an Advocate does! So he went to the WWE and asked for a No Physicality Clause before HIAC. That requires paperwork, so Heyman got a judge here in Dallas who his dad knows, got some favors, and there’s a RESTRAINING ORDER on Oba Femi!

The fans boo but Heyman says Oba cannot be within 100 feet of Lesnar! And truth be told, Heyman got one back on Lesnar. Out of respect, and years of loyalty to each other, Heyman knows Lesnar will please adhere to the restraining order, because this Beast is a law-abiding citizen. Lesnar nods and tips his hat, but then OBA FEMI makes his entrance! The fans cheer as “OBA~” is on stage! The police move into position to be a wall, but Oba still struts his way down the ramp. This is definitely less than 100 feet now, but Oba still keeps on walking forward. Oba enters the ring, Lesnar & Heyman smirking on the other side of the police officers.

Oba gets a mic and says he came here for a fight tonight! But before he gets to it, he’ll give them an opportunity to explain what the hell this is! Heyman says it is very simple: Oba is already in violation of a court ordered restraining order. Gentlemen, do your job. Heyman & Lesnar step out, the officers say Oba is under arrest. Oba TROSSES the one! Then BOOTS another into a third, and DOUBLE CHOKE SLAMS the remaining two! Oba LARIATS an officer, then hoists him up to SHOTPUT him onto the rest! The fans fire up as Oba doesn’t care about Heyman’s restraining order! Oba asks what games is Lesnar playing at! Running? BS’ing? Low blows?!

This is not even Lesnar anymore! Who is this!? Where is the Beast?! Lesnar used to run this place, but now all he does is run away. And as for Heyman, he has the audacity to say Oba stupidly threw away an opportunity? But we all know that if Oba went for one, Lesnar would cost Oba anyway! So here’s the deal. SummerSlam, Hell in a Cell, Oba VS Lesnar, no more games, no more BS, no more running! You cannot run from The Ruler! You cannot run from The Destroyer! You cannot run from The Bringer of War! You cannot run from OBA FEMI!! Heyman is very worried, but Lesnar smiles ear to ear. Who will survive this epic finale between titans?

Iyo Sky VS Roxanne Perez w/ Judgment Day!

The Genius of the Sky wants after Liv Morgan and the Women’s World Championship, but that means dealing with the pawns on the board first. Will we be Over the Moon in Dallas? Or will The Prodigy protect Liv by slowing Iyo down?

Raw returns as Judgment Day makes their entrance. The bell rings and Roxie mocks Iyo’s bad leg. They circle, tie up, and go around. Iyo puts Roxie on the ropes but Roxie puts Iyo in a corner. Roxie climbs up, pulls hair to thrash Iyo around, but the ref counts. Roxie backs off but Iyo CLOBBERS her! Iyo rains down fists, then handstands for a DOUBLE KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO! Iyo keeps on Roxie with a wrench, wristlock, and YANK on the arm. Roxie endures, fights up, but Iyo scoops. Roxie slips free and SLAPS Iyo! Roxie talks trash on Iyo, but Iyo pulls Roxie’s hair! The fans duel as Roxie pulls hair!

The ref reprimands as the two go back and forth, but then Iyo ducks ‘n’ redirects to handspring! Roxie dodges but then Iyo sweeps the legs! Iyo runs but Roxie stops the shotgun to jackknife bridge! TWO as Iyo sunset flips, TWO! Roxie SOBATS, then soaks up the heat. Roxie runs, but Iyo blows past her to SHOTGUN! Roxie tumbles out, the fans fire up, and Iyo builds speed! Iyo DIVES into a FOREARM! Roxie grins, goes to the apron, and she drags Iyo up. Roxie suplexes but Iyo fights that! Roxie still tries but Iyo fires body shots. Iyo scoops Roxie to SLAM her on the apron! Then Iyo lines up a shot, and ASAI MOONSAULTS! Down goes Roxie and the fans fire up!

Iyo stands tall, she puts Roxie in, but Raquel & Liv go after Iyo! The ref misses it as Roxie then sweeps the legs! Roxie STOMPS the bad leg, and Judgment Day taunts Iyo while Raw goes to break.

Raw returns as Roxie puts Iyo up top. Roxie then climbs up, reels Iyo in, but Iyo fights the lift! The fans rally as Iyo ROCKS Roxie! Roxie falls into the drop zone, and the fans fire up! Iyo adjusts, but Roxie hurries to CLUB a leg out! Iyo falls into the Tree of Woe! Roxie goes up to kick the bad leg! The ref reprimands, Roxie backs off, and she runs up to UPPERCUT the leg! Iyo falls out of the Tree, the fans boo, but Roxie LIONSAULTS onto knees! Iyo turns things around, double-edged as it is, and the fans fire up! Liv & Raquel are upset, but Iyo and Roxie both rise up. Roxie runs up, Iyo dodges to SHOTEI! And then FLAPJACK!

Iyo runs up, wheelbarrow, victory roll, STOMP 182! The fans fire up with Iyo as she underhooks Roxie, lifts, and BUTTERFLY BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Roxie is tougher than that, and Liv is very relieved. Iyo crawls back towards a corner while Raquel coaches Roxie up. Iyo dodges Roxie, SWING KICKS, then goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Roxie tumbles, Iyo kips up, and the fans fire up! Iyo gets the bad leg working, and she runs corner to corner, only for Roxie to dodge! Roxie goes up, up, and FLYING ARM-DRAGS! Roxie grabs the bad leg, CALF KILLER!! Iyo endures, reaches out, but the fans rally even harder!

Roxie pulls on the leg, but Iyo uses that to roll through! CROSSFACE!! Roxie flails, reaches out, fights up, and rolls, but into a KAMI-GOYE! Iyo says this is it, and she puts Roxie in the drop zone! Iyo goes up, up, but Raquel is on the apron! The ref stops her, but Liv goes after Iyo! Iyo BOOTS Liv away, dodge Raquel, then GAMANGIRIS! But Roxie O’Conner Rolls! And bridge! TWO, Iyo has it, IYO WINS!!

Winner: Iyo Sky, by pinfall

The fans cheer as Iyo overcomes the odds! But Liv runs up! Iyo dodges to SHOTEI! And BUZZSAWS! But then Roxie CHOP BLOCKS the leg! Raquel stomps Iyo while the fans boo! But wait! Here comes Sol Ruca! The fans cheer as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion dodges Raquel, KNEES Roxie, then handsprings to RANA Raquel into ropes! Sol keeps moving, and she SUPERKICKS Raquel out! The fans fire up as Sol then aims from the apron, and FLYING- NO! Raquel stops the rana and SWINGS Sol into barriers! And POST BOMBS her!! Sol is down, and Liv sends Iyo to OBLIVION!! The fans boo as Liv HAMMERS, DRIBBLES, and SLAPS Iyo!

The Judgment Day regroups, and Liv tells Iyo that this is the closest Iyo will get to this title! BELT SHOT!! The fans boo as hard as they can, but Judgment Day stands tall. Will nothing stop Liv from causing trouble as Women’s World Champion?

The Vision is here!

The fans boo as Bron Breakker, Austin Theory, Logan Paul, and now Maxxine Dupri all make their way out to the ring. The Alpha Babe is the reason the boys are WWE World Tag Team Champions again, but what will they have to say about it? We’ll find out, after the break.

Raw returns as The Vision is in the ring and the fans boo. Logan starts off by saying, “Dallas, Texas! Give it up for your NEW Tag Team Champions, Austin Theory & Bron Breakker!” The fans boo instead. Logan says they could not have done it without the newest member of the team, The Vision Queen, Maxxine! The fans boo more, and Maxxine says here’s the thing. But before she can explain, Otis & Akira Tozawa appear on stage! The fans cheer The Alpha Academy as they make their way to the ring, and others chant at Maxxine, “You Sold Out! You Sold Out!” Maxxine wants The Vision to relax as Otis & Tozawa step into the ring.

Tozawa asks Maxxine, “Can we talk?” Maxxine has The Vision chill, and she says it’ll be alright. The Vision steps aside for the moment, and Maxxine invites the boys into the ring. Otis & Tozawa step forward, and Tozawa is emotional as he says, “What’re you doing? This isn’t you! You’re a wonderful human being, because I know. And this guy (Austin Theory) is all wrong for you!” Maxxine says she still loves Otis & Tozawa, but they gave her a choice. The fans boo, they chant “You Sold Out!” but Maxxine tells them that they told her that if she was with Austin, she couldn’t be with them. She doesn’t think that’s fair! They don’t even know him! Maybe, if-

Otis speaks up. The fans cheer, and Otis says he told her about Theory, that he IS bad news. Maxxine says you don’t know him! The fans boo but Otis says he knows Maxxine. Otis has known Maxxine for a long time here. And he has to get this off his chest. The fans cheer Otis on as he gets emotional. Otis says he has something to say to her. The Vision is chuckling watching Otis struggle. Theory steps to the apron and asks if Otis is confessing his feelings for Maxxine or something. Is this a fairytale? What world is Otis living in? Just look at yourself! Seriously! And the fans are booing cuz they’re just like Otis: a bunch of losers!

Guys like Otis don’t end up with people like Maxxine. So let’s get something straight: Maxxine is with Theory now, so keep your fat, disgusting, nasty, musty, crusty- OTIS YANKS THEORY IN! The fans fire up as Otis fires off on Theory but Bron makes the save! Tozawa goes after Bron, but Bron THROWS Tozawa down! But then Tozawa DUMPS Bron out! And he DIVES, only for Bron to deflect it! And he THROWS Tozawa over the desk! Bron & Theory mug Otis while Logan cheers them on! Maxxine is distraught, but The Vision keeps mugging Otis! Otis just gets mad! He hulks out, CLOBBERS Bron, CLOBBERS Theory, and then BACK ELBOWS Bron!

Theory runs up, but into a FLAPJACK! Maxxine is still conflicted, but Otis sends Bron into Theory! Otis rips his shirt away, and DOUBLE SPLASHES The Vision! Otis then LARIATS Bron up and out! Theory sputters, Otis locks on target! Maxxine says don’t do it, and Theory wants to apologize, but a little too late. But then Maxxine steps in the way! The fans boo but Maxxine pleads with Otis to understand. This didn’t have to happen! They’re still friends, aren’t they? Otis nods, and Maxxine leans in, but Theory LOW BLOWS Otis!! And Maxxine is no longer conflicted! She was tricking Otis! “Did you really think that it’d EVER be us?!”

The fans boo as Maxxine digs the knife in deeper! Tozawa is back  and he DECKS Theory! But Bron SPEARS Tozawa!! The fans bark and boo as Tozawa sputters away. Maxxine brings out the brass knuckles and hands them to Theory! Theory puts them on, and Bron sets Otis up, BRASS KNUCKLE HAYMAKER!! The fans boo even harder, but Theory hands the knuckles back to Maxxine. Theory says Otis is a loser, Maxxine never liked Otis, and no one ever will! Back to the farm you go! They set Otis up, SPEAR LEG SWEEP COMBO!! Logan hands the belts to Bron & Theory and they hold them high over Otis. Can nothing stop The Vision now?

Gable swore to win that title, and he will do it in his hometown of Minneapolis at SummerSlam.

Ethan Page says he will continue to grow his legacy when he stomps out every pro-wrestler in this gauntlet. Then the legacy of the title will also grow the very second the Intercontinental Championship is on the shoulder of All Ego. Dragon Lee says facing Penta for that title would mean the world to him. Penta, you better start grieving your loss because the world is believing in a NEW Intercontinental Champion!

Royce Keys VS Jimmy Uso!

An impromptu match but a fitting one, the Powerhouse came to Raw looking for payback from Friday Night SmackDown! Will Royce cut #BigJim down to size? Or will he learn what it is to fight The Bloodline?

The match started during commercial, but Royce now has Jimmy in a corner. Royce puts Jimmy up top, CLUBS away on his chest, but only stops as the ref counts. Royce then brings Jimmy around, THROWS him out to the apron, then turns him around for some Beats of the Bodhrain! The fans count along, Royce gets all TEN, then drags Jimmy back up. Jimmy HOTSHOTS free, then GAMANGIRIS! The fans rally but Jimmy climbs, CROSSBODY! Cover, ONE!! Royce is tougher than that but Jimmy drags Royce up. Jimmy CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Royce just snarls! Jimmy kicks low, whips him to a corner, but Royce comes back to CLOBBER Jimmy!

Royce drags Jimmy up, whips him to the corner, but Jimmy goes up and over! Jimmy kicks, Royce blocks, but the DRAGON WHIP finds him! Royce tumbles out, Jimmy hurries after him, and Jimmy AX HANDLES, but into a clinch! Royce RAMS Jimmy into the apron, RAMS him into the desk, then scoops, but Jimmy slips free! Raw returns as Jimmy CHOPS Royce! And CHOPS again! Jimmy whips, Royce reverses, then SNAP POWERSLAMS! The fans fire up while Jimmy sputters, and Royce rises again. The fans rally as Royce aims from a corner, runs corner to corner, and SPALSHES! Wait, we see someon arriving backstage, and it’s Jacob Fatu! Royce fires hands, then whpis Jimmy corner ot corner for another SPLASH! The Samoan Werewolf is storming his way out to ringside as Jimmy mule kicks and UPPERCUTS Royce! Jimmy runs but into a SKY HIGH SPINEBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! And now Fatu slides right in the ring to CLOBBER Royce!

Winner: Royce Keys, by disqualification

The fans boo as Fatu HEADBUTTS away on Royce, then stomps away! Fatu goes out, shouts that he tried to tell Royce, and he grabs a chair! The fans are torn but Fatu says he doesn’t wanna do this, but he has to! He JAMS Royce up, then has him in the corner. Fatu wedges the chair into Royce’s face, then goes corner to corner! But SOLO SIKOA is here! He shouts for Fatu to stop! Solo steps into the ring and asks Fatu just listen. Don’t do that to Royce, okay? Solo gets it. Solo understands now. He does. Solo was lost, he left his family, and was being stupid, okay? Solo understands now. He always knew that blood was thicker than water. Solo is coming home.

The fans are torn, but Jimmy says heck yeah! Solo puts up his finger to the sky and Jimmy joins in. Fatu nods, also raises his finger, and the fans are conflicted. But then Solo smiles and SAMOAN SPIKES Jimmy!! Fatu is pissed all over again, but Solo ELBOWS him! Solo fires hands, has Fatu in the corner, but Jimmy runs up! Solo lets Jimmy have his jacket then fires off more hands! But Fatu UPPERCUTS Solo down! Fatu stomps away on Solo, but Royce is up! Royce fires hands on Fatu! The fans fire up, but Jimmy SUPERKICKS Royce! TONGAN DEATH GRIP on Solo!! But L A KNIGHT rushes out here! And he has a chair!

The fans cheer The Mega Star storming into the ring, and he DUMPS Jimmy out! Then he SMACKS Fatu on the back! But that only upsets Fatu! Knight JAMS Fatu up, SMACKS him on the back, then SMACKS him again! Fatu tumbles out, and Jimmy has him stand down before he gets hit again! Knight, Royce, and Solo stand tall in the ring, and Knight picks up a mic. “I owe both of you from last week, so if you wanna try and get another piece, come and get it, YEAH! But if you think I got everything I need to get outta ya, NAH-NAH! So what I’m gonna need, Jimmy Uso, I need you in this ring. Jacob Fatu, I need you in this ring.

“And I’m sick and damn tired of the whole Bloodline, so what i need you to do is I need you to call The Unfortunate Event, Jey Uso, because I need him here, too! What I’m telling you is I’m done with the games, I’m done with The Bloodline, but what I realized… I don’t have to do it by myself. So I tell ya what I’m thinking! I’m thinking Jimmy, Jey, Jacob, I’m thinking Royce Keys, and YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, I’m even thinking Solo Sikoa! And I’m thinking me, and I’m thinking SummerSlam! And what that means is you can all walk down here, get smacked back to factory settings, we can put The Bloodline in the rearview mirror, with everybody saying L A KNIGHT, YEAH!!”

A massive Six Man Tag is in the works, can the Mega Star, Powerhouse and Prodigal Son tear down The Bloodline once and for all?

The Vision regroups backstage.

They’re feeling great after how they manipulated and beat up The Alpha Academy, and Heyman is there to applaud. “Now that is what I call a Vision for the future.” So he’s happy? Happy? Ecstatic! Proud! Especially of all of them! They showed the world that you don’t mess with Bron Breakker! Logan Paul is healing faster than Conor McGregor! Theory stands by his woman, and Maxxine, just WOW! So then, they’re all back together now? That’s a great question. Maxxine was so magnificent tonight, what they hell do they need Heyman for? The Wise Man leaves The Vision bewildered, are they even “The Vision” without him?

Adam Pearce is on the phone.

The Raw General Manager tells the other person, “If you need me to be there, I’ll be there.” He promises to call back because Oba walks in. Pearce isn’t sure if Oba wasn’t worried about it, but if he was, then no worries, because Heyman was bluffing. Phony restraining order, phony cops, all mind games. Oba knew that. And y’know what that tells him? Heyman is afraid, because Heyman remembers what Oba did to Brock at WrestleMania. And if they thought that was bad, wait until Hell in a Cell. Oba heads back out, will nothing stop The Ruler from breaking The Beast?

Bayley is here!

Dallas cheers The Role Model, and she’s in the ring with the mic to say, “Lyra, can you please come out here right now?” The Morrigan indeed makes her entrance, still walking the line of disheveled and disturbed as she goes to the ring. Bayley offers a mic to Lyra but Lyra doesn’t want to take it. Bayley shoves the mic into Lyra so Lyra takes it. Bayley asks if Lyra’s gonna say anything. She can’t even look at anyone, huh? Bayley says she wanted Lyra out here because she thought they could be honest with each other, say what they truly mean, and even apologize. Apologize?! Bayley should be the one apologizing to Lyra for holding her back for an entire YEAR!

The fans boo but Lyra says no, this is what Bayley does! Bayley makes it look like she’s the victim! Oh, poor Bayley~! Bayley’s friends always leave her in the dust! Lyra has been stabbed in the back, too, she just doesn’t come out here and make it her entire personality! And y’know what? Maybe, maybe, if Bayley wasn’t so obsessed with her past friendships and failures, she could see all her problems! HER problems?! Bayley wants to respond but Lyra says no, Bayley’s gonna listen to her talk! Look at her, Bayley, so Lyra can look her in the eye and say this. Everything Lyra has made Bayley feel good about, Lyra was LYING!

Bayley is not a locker room leader! She is a doormat! Bayley’s face does not belong on the posters! Bayley DOES drag down every single person she works with, and has always been the worst of the Four Horsewomen! Bayley says okay, fine, you done? She should’ve known bringing this out here was a big mistake, because clearly, Lyra is just like everybody else. Lyra is not special like she thinks, because she’s saying that to the first-ever Women’s Grand Slam Champion! A Royal Rumble Winner! And one half of the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions! Lucky for you, Bayley’s gonna add beating Lyra’s ass inside Madison Square Garden to it!

Bayley talked with Pearce, see you at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Mic drop, but Lyra storms up! Bayley DECKS Lyra first! The fans fire up as Bayley HAMMERS away! Lyra tries to retreat but Bayley grab a leg! Lyra BOOTS Bayley away, DECKS her, then gives her DRAGON STOMPS! The fans boo but Lyra drags Bayley up and says “sorry not sorry!” BAYLEY2BELLY by Lyra!! Lyra’s darkness is taking over, but will it be what she needs to shine in the spotlight once again?

Something big is coming back.

Je’Von gives it one more try, but Rusev smothers Je’Von! Je’Von is OUT, Rusev ELIMINATES him!

The fans boo, the ref tells him to stop! Rusev grins as he makes Je’Von suffer before letting go. And now, Chad Gable makes his entrance!

Rusev VS Chad Gable!

Gable fires off haymakers on Rusev, then ducks a shot to GERMAN SUPLEX! And GERMAN SUPLEX again! And then the O’Conner- NO, Rusev bucks free, but runs into a BELLY2BELLY! Cover, TWO! Rusev is still in this, but Gable hurries up top! Rusev rises, Gable aims, AX- NO, Rusev catches Gable to URENAGE! Cover, TWO! Gable is tougher than that, and Rusev has to fall back to the corner while Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again as Rusev has Gable in the corner and throws down haymakers! The ref counts, Rusev stops, and Rusev hoists Gable up top. Rusev ROCKS Gable, ROCKS him again, then climbs up. The fans rally for Gable as Rusev brings him up. Gable fights the suplex, fires body shots, then HEADBUTTS away on Rusev! Rusev falls, Gable aims, and FLYING LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Gable rises, he hobbles over, and he ROCKS Rusev! Rusev ROCKS Gable, Gable ROCKS Rusev, repeat! Rusev fires more shots, but so does Gable! The fans cheer as Gable fires CHOP after CHOP after CHOP like a windmill!

Gable reels Rusev in, ANGLE- NO, Rusev CLAWS the eyes! MACHKA KICK! ACCOLADE!! The fans boo but Gable endures! Gable powers up, rises up, and the fans rally as he reaches out! Rusev keeps Gable back, and he CLAWS the eyes again! The fans boo but Gable slips out the back! Gable then catches Rusev, GERMAN SUPLEX into buckles! Gable goes up, up, and he reels Rusev in for the victory roll! GABLE ELIMINATES RUSEV! The fans cheer as Gable makes it to the final round, but Rusev clamps the ACCOLADE back on! And here come All Ego! Rusev refuses to let go, is it going to be easy pickings for Ethan Page?

Chad Gable VS Ethan Page!

Rusev lets Gable go, and tells Ethan to go get ’em! Ethan hurries in, runs up, and he BOOTS Gable down! Cover, TWO! Gable is still in this and Ethan is furious! Ethan hurries to RIPCORD POWERSLAM, then covers, TWO! The fans cheer as Gable is tougher than that, but Ethan rains down fists! Ethan talks trash, and he tells Gable to stop making this so hard! Don’t make Ethan work! Gable SLAPS back! Gable fires hands, then a BOOT! Gable stands, but Ethan LARIATS him back down! Ethan huffs ‘n’ puffs, then he rains down more fists! The fans still rally for Gable but Ethan hauls him up. Ethan SMACKS Gable off buckles, then puts him on the top rope.

Ethan flails, reaches out, rolls, but Gable rolls with him! Gable puts on the pressure and drags Ethan back! Ethan reaches out, but he TAPS!! GABLE WINS!!

Winner: Chad Gable, by submission (NEW #1 Contender to the WWE Intercontinental Champion)

The fans are just as fired up as Gable is for this victory! Penta is here, and he stares down with Gable. Penta offers the handshake, Gable takes it, and the fans love it! Gable is going to battle for the title in his hometown, but will the Biggest Party of the Summer be that much bigger for Minnesota’s own? Or will #SKOL lose to the #CeroMiedo?

A car pulls into the parking lot.

And out steps none other than the OTC, Roman Reigns! He calls to his attendant, the title is handed over, and Roman heads to gorilla. It’s time to sign on the dotted line, after the break.

Adam Pearce is in the ring.

Raw returns as the General Manager stands with the table and chairs, and he tells Dallas that at SummerSlam, we will all bear witness to one of the most highly anticipated world championship matches in recent history. Tonight, they sign the contract, they make it official. So please join him in welcoming the World Heavyweight Champion, the O T C, Roman Reigns! Dallas puts up the ones as Roman indeed makes his entrance. He raises his finger to the sky, the pyro goes off, and he continues his way to the ring. Roman steps inside, takes the title off so he can raise it up, but no second round of pyro.

Roman sets the title down on the table, then grabs a mic. The fans cheer, “O T C! O T C!” and “Roman, Roman Reigns~!” Roman takes a moment, then says, “Dallas, Texaaas…! ACKNOWLEDGE ME!” The fans cheer and raise their fingers again while they continue to chant. Then Seth Rollins makes his entrance, no introduction needed! Dallas sings, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” as The Architect walks to the ring, once again dressed in all black. Rollins revels in the singing as he goes, even climbs up onto the corner, then he joins Roman and Pearce in the ring. Rollins then takes his seat, making sure to angle himself right at the Head of the Table. The contract is already there, so Rollins signs his part.

Rollins slides the contract to Roman, then grabs a mic for himself. The fans duel between “O T C!” and “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Rollins smiles and says, “I know it’s gotta be hard for you when the sweet melodies of my song drown out those OTC chants.” The fans keep dueling, and the “O T C!” tries but it can’t quite get loud enough. Rollins says this has to be hard for Roman, too, he understands what Roman’s going through. But look, there are just some things in life that are certain: Death, taxes, and Seth Rollins beating Roman Reigns every single time! SO just sign on the dotted line and let’s get this over with.

Rollins leans back and puts his feet up on the table. The singing continues, the chanting continues, and Roman takes his time thinking. “Well, Dallas… I wish you would’ve come out here and did that last week, because he came out here and bored us all half to death. But while you were putting everybody to sleep last week, I was listening. And you proved me right: Seth Rollins is the Tribal Chief’s number one hater.” The fans chant “He’s a Hater!” but Rollins likes it. Roman says that’s the sad thing. Rollins is sitting here laughing about it, but that’s the only thing he’s number one at! And that’s what Roman hates the most.

Rollins somehow has the fans confused thinking they’re on the same level. But that couldn’t be further from then truth. So at SummerSlam, Roman will show the difference between them. At SummerSlam, Roman ends any of this where Rollins thinks he could ever compete with Roman. At SummerSlam, Roman shows Rollins what the number one looks like. Roman signs his part, and Rollins asks if he could do the honors. Rollins hands the contract to Pearce and says there you have it, Dallas! Contract complete, it is official! The fans cheer that, and Rollins says he does owe Roman a debt of gratitude. Thanks for keeping his title warm for him.

Rollins promises to take it from him at SummerSlam, and brother, see you the next time you bother to show up for work. Rollins steps out, the fans sing, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Roman says whoa, whoa, whoa, where does Rollins think he’s going? That’s it? Sign and run? Then how about we play Rollins’ game. What if Rollins does win? What if Rollins beats Roman at SummerSlam? What happens then? He’ll carry it for a couple months then get hurt again? Don’t act shock, that’s what happens every single time! Rollins frowns but Roman says some would say it’s self-sabotage. Some people just can’t handle the weight, the pressure, and the burden of being the top guy.

Rollins smirks before he goes back to the ring. Roman smiles as Rollins storms back inside and gets in Roman’s face. The fans continue to duel as Roman says he pushed the right buttons. Rollins says if Roman’s got something to say, just say it! Spit it out! Don’t hold back! If you got something to say, say it! Roman says okay, he’ll say it cuz everyone’s thinking it. You wanna know how Roman knows Rollins is just number two? Because after all these years, Rollins still needs a Money in the Bank briefcase to become champion. And if you thought that was bad, Rollins had to fake an injury just to use the damn thing!

Let’s just be honest here! If there was ever a time for Rollins to be number one, c’mon! Rollins’ “Daddy,” HHH damn near runs the joint! They tried and tried and tried, and pretty much gave Rollins all of Roman’s stuff. And Rollins still couldn’t fill Roman’s shoes. So let’s just call a spade a spade: Rollins is number two, always will be number two, and Roman is number one and will always be number one, so just acknowledge it, b*tch! Mic drop from Roman, the fans are all fired up for the OTC, but Rollins seethes. Rollins asks, “Is that all you’ve got? That all you can come up with? C’mon, Roman! Tell me how I’m never gonna be you!

“Tell me how I’m never gonna draw as much money as you! Tell me I’m never gonna be as big of a star as you! Tell me I’m never gonna main-event as many WrestleManias as you! Tell me my dreams don’t mean a damn thing, cuz none of this is for me, it’s for YOU! TELL ME TAHT! Anything you can tell me, I’ve told myself every single day for the past 15 YEARS. But y’know what? You and me, we’re not running the same race, we’re not fighting the same fight, and at some point, I had to look in the mirror. I had to be proud of who I am. I had to be proud of what I stand for. I had to be proud of what I fight for!”

The fans cheer that, and Rollins continues by saying he IS a Visionary, he IS a Revolutionary, he IS Seth! FREAKIN’! ROLLINS!! The fans fire up again, and Rollins says he is so, so glad that he is not Roman Reigns. Roman raises an eyebrow, but then Rollins ROCKS him! The fans fire up as Rollins fires off furious fists and even stomps! Rollins does not stop for a good ten stomps, then he THROWS his jacket down on Roman! Rollins rains down more shots, and asks where Bloodline is now! Huh!? Where are they?! Rollins knows who HE is, you POS! Rollins THROWS Roman back down while the fans sing, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!”

Rollins kicks a chair over, steps outside, but then has second thoughts. Rollins lines up a shot, runs up, but into a SUPERMAN PUNCH! Roman then looks at the table, brings it over, and he now lines up a shot! Roman reels Rollins in, but Rollins BOPS Roman with a mic! Rollins underhooks, PEDIGREE!! Rollins goes to a corner, he tells Roman to get back up and take this like a man! Roman sputters as he pushes up off the mat, for Rollins to CURB STOMP him back down!! The fans are torn, but Rollins is not conflicted. He has yet to lose 1v1 to Roman, and vows to never lose to Roman. Will that be a constant then, now, and forever? Or can Roman finally establish he IS the one?

My Thoughts:

A great Raw, though maybe they relied a little too much on the gauntlet for content. It was a great gauntlet, and maybe it should’ve opened the show instead, though I suppose that would’ve made Iyo VS Roxie the match main event? It just makes more sense if a gauntlet starts so it has time to breathe and there’s no worries if they go long or what, and then everything else can fill time as needed. Great stuff from every part of the match, though, and I could just tell Danhausen was gonna cost Dom his part in it. Great win for Gable, but of course he was going to get the match for SummerSlam with it being in Minneapolis. Now, I would think Gable wins, but Penta’s been on such a great run, it’s hard to say.

Speaking of Minneapolis, great promo from Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi. I do appreciate that Pearce explained in kayfabe later that those weren’t real cops, but duh, those weren’t gonna be real cops no matter what. Heyman being worried but Lesnar not, I’m thinking Heyman’s gonna be proven right as Oba unleashes metaphorical hell on Lesnar inside the cell. And speaking of Heyman, quite the twist that he is just up and ditching The Vision. To be fair, it always did feel like he was threatened into joining up from the moment Bron turned on Rollins, so I guess he’s washing his hands of the faction once and for all.

Speaking of The Vision, they had a great promo with The Alpha Academy, and Maxxine has become quite a good actor with how she looked so upset that her mutual friends were upset with each other, and then flipped it to being just a heartless snob who has perhaps treated Otis even worse than Gable ever did. At the very least, Maxxine can be called a hypocrite on that level, but we’re gonna have to start seeing The Vision pay off for Maxxine where she can get back to at least the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Though that’d assume it stays on a Face like Sol Ruca.

Nice teaser for the return of Big Cass, aka “Big Bill” Morrissey for those who saw him in AEW. It didn’t seem like there was a tease for Enzo Amore in that video, but maybe that happens next week. We have until August 3rd, the Raw after SummerSlam, so anything can happen. Very good segment from Bayley and Lyra, and Bayley shrugging off Lyra’s insults was fitting since we really have heard others use the Four Horsewomen and other parts of Bayley’s backstory against her in the past. Their match will be great stuff, but with it being this Saturday, the math is already saying Bayley wins out to get revenge on Lyra for the betrayal.

Very good match from Iyo VS Roxie with her overcoming the odds in the match, but of course Judgment Day beats her down after. Sol making the save fits, but a little surprised the Judgment Day still got the better of her, too. I sense there could be a tag match of Iyo & Sol VS Liv & Raquel that helps add more to Iyo VS Liv while also setting up a rematch of Sol VS Raquel. And while it would’ve worked better while Finn Balor was still on Raw, I could see Roxie springing the trap to cost Judgment Day one of those titles at SummerSlam. In fact, isn’t that the SummerSlam tradition? Someone usurping the top spot in Judgment Day? Liv did it to Rhea, Roxie can do it to Liv.

What felt adlibbed, though maybe that was the point, was Royce VS Jimmy here on Raw. The promo happened during commercial, which may’ve just been bad timing, or a lame way to tempt fans into going ad free on Netflix. But then good stuff with Fatu and Solo showing up, messing with the match, and then adding LA Knight on top to set up a Six Man Tag. Though, wow, LA Knight is apparently Mr. Six Man Tag because he and The Usos teamed for the one at Mania, and now they’re enemies in one for SummerSlam. Also, interesting timing of them advertising WarGames now, as if to say we’re definitely getting one more Bloodline VS Not Bloodline match.

Roman and Rollins had another great promo together, even for a contract signing. I liked the dynamic that Rollins not only started the brawl but still won the brawl, as if to double down on Rollins being undefeated against Roman when it’s 1v1. Hard to know where they go from here, they kinda already did the usual go-home segment three weeks out. Maybe Roman will be “distracted” worrying about this Bloodline business, wanting Fatu & The Usos to destroy Knight, Royce, and even Solo after the continued rejection. There’s still some good drama to mine with that, but for them to milk it for three months until Survivor Series… That might get tired around September…

My Score: 8.8/10
