Will Ospreay Pushes for UK and European Indies to Join Future Forbidden Door Cards
Will Ospreay says he wants independent wrestling talent from the United Kingdom and Europe to be featured on future AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door events, arguing the show would benefit from bringing in stars from the UK indie scene. Ospreay, who has strong ties to RevPro and the British scene, believes showcasing that talent on a global stage would strengthen the international appeal of the crossover event.
Ospreay’s comments highlight a growing desire for more cross-promotional collaboration that goes beyond the major promotions, potentially opening doors for rising stars from smaller European promotions to gain exposure. If promoters take his suggestion, upcoming Forbidden Door cards could become an even broader showcase of worldwide wrestling talent.
