Multiple outlets have reported that Sheamus’ contract is expiring soon and that he rejected a restructured extension, along with the development today that Sheamus was moved to WWE.com’s alumni section. The report adds that Sheamus was not released, making this a contract-expiration situation rather than a standard WWE cut.

AEW All Out Returns To The Chicago Area

Speaking of Chicago, AEW has officially announced that All Out 2026 will take place on Saturday, September 26, at NOW Arena in the Chicago area. AEW lists VIP and premium access beginning Tuesday, July 7, presales beginning Thursday, July 9, and the general on-sale scheduled for Monday, July 13.

Gabe Kidd Wins IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship At NJPW Road To G1

New Japan’s Road to G1 event delivered a major title change, as Gabe Kidd defeated Shota Umino to win the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship at Korakuen Hall. YOH also retained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against Francesco Akira, while Ryohei Oiwa and OSKAR won their respective G1 play-in matches.

ROH Death Before Dishonor Set For Philadelphia

Ring of Honor is heading back to Philadelphia for Death Before Dishonor. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 21, at the 2300 Arena, continuing ROH’s connection to one of wrestling’s most recognizable venues.
