WWE Files Trademark for “Tribal Chief”
On July 2, WWE filed to trademark “Tribal Chief,” the well-known nickname of Roman Reigns, with the application covering a wide range of apparel and related items — from tops, jackets and hoodies to pants, swimwear, footwear and even Halloween and masquerade costumes. The filing lists numerous clothing categories, signaling WWE’s intent to secure the name across merchandising channels.
The move strengthens WWE’s control over the Reigns-branded identity and paves the way for expanded official merchandise and promotional uses tied to Reigns’ on-screen persona.
