WWE vs. AAA title-vs.-title tag match booked for future SmackDown
The War Raiders, currently holding the AAA Tag Team Championships, interrupted SmackDown after R-Truth beat Nathan Frazer in a hot dog-eating contest and challenged Damian Priest & R-Truth to a winner-take-all tag match with both the WWE and AAA belts on the line. Priest and R-Truth accepted, but with Nick Aldis not on the show the match could not be made official or given a date; Priest said the bout will take place on a future episode of SmackDown.
The War Raiders captured the AAA tag gold by defeating Psycho Circus (Psycho Clown & Pagano) on May 30 in Monterrey and have not defended those titles since. Priest & R-Truth won the WWE Tag Team Championships from JC Mateo & Tama Tonga on the March 20 SmackDown and have defended the belts multiple times, most recently on the June 19 episode in Kansas City.
