Andrew’s TNA IMPACT Results & Ratings: 8.20.2026

Well, we can all tell by the way the shows are structured that the roster is thin and in a bad position. But they’re trying to do something to keep a semblance of logic. The KO TV Tournament is a mess, the Knockouts World Title picture is pathetic, and the main event is lacking because the World Champion is in an angle with Tag Team Champions.

Lockdown is going to need a few debuts and the Knockouts Division needs a lot of help. But as I said last week, J-Rod, Kaci Lennox, Sophia Rose…a few of them could be a nice addition. But the Knockouts tags are still worth less than nothing, so maybe we can toss those in a trash can at Lockdown.

Results:

Order 4 is in the ring to start the show with Mustafa stating there’s a problem. Mustafa acknowledges the loss to Hotch, but says Hotch is not the man of his own household, Ali is. It’s thanks to Ali that his daughter has toys and they have a roof over their head. So Ali is claiming betrayal. Ali is testing loyalty now, Skyler will face Jason Hotch in a test of loyalty. 

Rich Swann w/BDE vs Mr Elegance w/Elegance Brand

Rope run start, Rich Front Flips over, Maggie gets on the apron to distract the referee, Heather hits a Satellite DDT on Rich, Mr Elegance starts attacking Rich. Elegance throws Rich into the buckles chest first and then hits a Lariat to the back of the head like he thinks he’s Lex Luger. Then he hits a Suplex, rolls into another and it’s a Stalling Suplex for a near fall. Elegance muscles over Rich, hits a Pop-Up Bitch Slap into an Up and Over, release Belly to Back Suplex and a Lariat for two. Mr Elegance starts peppering in Knee Strikes out of frustration and Rich is retreating to the corner. A few kicks from Swann, boots Elegance away and hits a Forward Roll Lariat. Shake, Rattle and Roll into Swann’s strike combination into a Rolling Splash for two.

Rich tries to grab him, but a Stun Gun into Slingshot Codebreaker is only a two count. Elegance is going for his moronic finish, but Rich counters it into an O’Connor Roll and Elegance’s undefeated streak is over! Thank Christ!

KO TV Tournament: Heather by Elegance w/Elegance Brand vs Jada Stone

Maggie tries to distract Jada immediately, but she hears Heather creepy and rolls back, a bit of quick mat wrestling where Jada is looking for an Armbar vairant, but Heather manages to get away. More quick moves, Jada misses a Tiger Feint, but snaps off a Dropkick into a near fall. Jada wants a Springboard move but Heather falls into the ropes to cause Jada to crash, then Heather chokes Jada up until 4.5 , stomps a mudhole in Jada and keeps the strikes going. Vertical Suplex from Heather, and only a two count. Heather goes for a choke against the ropes again, but the referee makes her break and Jada shoves her across the ring. Heather gets annoyed and whips Jada into the buckles.

Heather grabs the hair and slams down Jada and then goes into a Straight Jacket Choke. Heather misses a few swings, Jada rolls through, hits two Lariats, Cartwheels through a move, Enzuigiri into a Split Legged Moonsault and only a two! Jada wanted the Spark Stunner, but Heather trips her up, steps on her neck and goes for the Stomp, but Jada moves. Locomotion Cradles, no one gets a decisive fall but it’s sloppy, then Jada just stomps on Heather after a failed Cradle. Heather powders to apron, they throw hands, Jada is getting the best of things, goes for something on the apron but Heather gets away and German Suplexes Jada onto the apron. Heather showboats and looks for the kill, but Jada hits a desperation Headscissors to send Heather to the floor.

Count out begins, Jada gets back in at 8, Heather at 9, but Jada catches Heather with the Spark Stunner and Jada wins! Finals are set as M by Elegance versus Jada Stone.

The Elegance Brand losing the opening two matches is honestly a great way to start the show. They started to suck when ASH was “injured” and they only continued to get worse with the addition of Mr Elegance. So…good they need to fail forever and shatter. The gimmick is trash.

Lethal Lockdown Advantage Match: Brian Myers vs Fabian Aichner

Myers attacks Aichner on the bell, bounces him from corner to corner and stays on him. Shoulder Tackle and the Raven Pose makes the crowd boo Myers, but Myers is clearly in control. More hard Irish Whips and Aichner…finally starts to throw some fists to fight back. Uppercut, Kick, Polish Hammer, wants a DVD but Myers slips it and eats a Lariat. Myers powders, eats a Baseball Slide and then a Springboard Crossbody wipes out Myers. Aichner throws Myers back in and goes for a pinfall but Myers kicks out. So Aichner takes him around the world, smashing his face into all four buckles then hits the 10 Count Punches like it’s 1994. Myers eats them all, and flops forward out of the corner, but kicks out at 2. Myers powders to the apron, but Aichner stays on him, tries a Brainbuster but Myers sandbags, shoves Aichner into the post and then hits a Superkick.

Aichner is selling on the outside, Myers looks perfectly content taking a count out. Aichner sells to 9, which is an oversell, so kinda dumb. Myers mugs him on the slide in, Snapmare and Headlock keeps Aichner down. Aichner tries to fire up and hit the ropes, but Myers levels him with a Knee Lift. Myers chokes him on the ropes and Aichner then eats a Backdrop, but kicks out at two. Another Snapmare and Facelock rest hold spot from Myers. Aichner finally fires up, runs the ropes, ducks Myer’s Line and hits a violent Crossbody. Aichner throws a kick and a few Chops, Crossbody again, Froward Senton Roll into the Moonsault from Aichner and it’s only two. Myers hits the Bicycle Kick to stagger Aichner and then an Implant DDT for two.

Roster Cut is being set up, Aichner blocks it with a Kick, throws Myers out, Escalara…looks bad but I suppose gets enough. Springboard DDT from Aichner, but two. Aichner locks in his submission, but Myers manages to barely grab the bottom rope and then powder. Aichner collects him, but when Aichner gets in, Myers kicks the rope to crotch Aichner and hits him with the Spear! 1-2-Aichner kicks out! Roster Cut miss, near miss ref bump, but while the referee is cowering, Myers hits two Low Blows and a Roster Cut for the win!

Jason Hotch vs John Skyler

His new theme song and tron is interesting. “Top Notch” Jason Hotch is a little cringe, but there could be worse things. The metalcore theme though I don’t mind.

Hotch starts with a top wristlock, and they go for the World of Sport chain wrestling open. The Philly crowd doesn’t like that though, so now we go to the Shoulder Tackles and Leg Trip thing, the crowd finally starts playing along a little, but this is an oddly slow match. No strikes, just Headscissors, Snapmares, but Skyler hits the Arm Drag and Keylock. Ali sends Mila Moore out to tell Skyler it’s not supposed to be a match, it’s a hit. Hotch counters because Skyler is distracted but then Ali’s music hits and the Secret Service surround the ring. Hotch fights them all off until Zero slides in with a Big Boot.

The match is thrown out, Ali walks in afterwards and lords over Hotch thrusting an Order 4…pin or something into his chest as he says “You don’t leave Order 4 until I say so”.

Alisha Edwards vs Harley Hudson

Daria Rae comes out to guest commentary and Harley is playing up being scared to lose her job.

Lish is talking smack, Lish tries a quick Roll-Up but Harley stops her, there’s a few awkward exchanges early, but Harley is wrestling circles around Lish. Eddie distracts Harley and Lish attacks her from behind. Lish slaps Harley around, chokes her in the corner, and pulls her hair. Lish crushes Harley with a Hip Attack into a Low Crossbody, and a near fall. Lish keeps working over Harley, but she jaws too long and Harley kicks Lish. Eddie swings at Harley’s feet again so Lish grabs the hair and drops her before she can comeback.

Thankfully, Harley starts to fire, Lariat, Shoulder Tackle, Big Boot, smashes her face into the buckles, Hip Attacks Back to Back rattle Lish’s skull, Sack of Shit from Harley and a European Uppercut, but Lish rakes the eyes and hits the DeLish. Harley manages to kick out though. Harley slaps Lish, but Lish tries a Pedigree or something and Harley turns it into a Cradle.

Glad Harley won, but they have no chemistry, the match was awful. 

The Hardy Boyz, Elijah & Moose vs AJ Francis, Frankie Kazarian, Ryan Nemeth & Nic Nemeth

Kaz and Jeff start, Kaz starts lighting him up but Jeff turns it around and puts the early brakes on when Kaz expects an Up and Over Spot, so Jeff starts working him over but tags out to Moose and Kaz quickly tags out to Ryan. Ryan tries to step to Moose and gets rocked, Moose tags in Elijah and Ryan is getting bounced around like a pinball. Elijah does his rope walk and at least it makes more sense timed here since Ryan has been getting rocked. Clubbing blow into an F5 from Elijah and he goes for the pinfall. Heels come in to break it up, faces even the score and then we get four corners Delete Headsmashes. All of the heels powder, the faces are holding the ring but Elijah eventually goes to the outside and starts bouncing Ryan off the steps. The crowd keeps calling for tables, Elijah acknowledges them, but Ryan cuts him off to the disappointment of the crowd.

Ryan pokes the eyes, tags out to Kaz and when Kaz tries, he gets flung over Elijah’s shoulder. Matt gets tagged in and they stomp Kaz into the ground. Matt tags in Jeff, Armbreaker spot they’ve done forever. Jeff tags in Elijah, Double Back Elbow and Elijah goes for another Rope Walk, clubs over the arm. Kaz reverses the whip, AJ grabs Elijah’s hair and Kaz takes advantage. Kaz isn’t tagging out yet though, Snapmare, Cravat, and Kaz keeps the submission in. Elijah powers up, Whip Reverse, Kaz rolls over the telegraph but eats the South of Heaven Chokeslam! Simultaneous tags, Moose is running over Nic but Ryan gets in the way to eat some Moose offense. Nic thinks he can get away but GO TO HELL and plants Nic for a two count. Matt is is, Matt sets up Moose for some Poetry and HE DOES IT! Poetry in Moostion, Moose does it the old school way too. Matt drops Nic, but Ryan gets involved so Nic takes Matt’s head off. Tag to little brother, Ryan is being cocky but Matt is barely fighting back after Nic took his head off with the Superkick. Ryan tags to Kaz, and now Kaz is being cocky but Double Lariat, Double Down.

Kaz tags in AJ first, which is his first official action of the match. The crowd hates AJ. So it’s good heat for AJ but a nice Splash crumples Matt in the corner. Tennessee Whiskey connects and the crowd hates him. AJ is wearing his old Commanders colors so that of course adds to the heat. World’s Strongest Slam on Matt, AJ perches Matt and wants…something? Matt fights back for an Avalanche Side Effect! Jeff has a Whisper in the Wind for both Nemeths. Kaz with a PK to Jeff’s ribs but Moose takes out Kaz. TFL from AJ wipes out Jeff, but Elijah flies from the ropes with an Elbow. AJ wants a Down Payment but Elijah counters with a Knee! Matt hits the Twist, Jeff to the top, SWANTON BOMB. Babyfaces win!

Cedric Alexander is laid out at the end of the show? Well now…I wonder if that messes up the title match at Lockdown.

Well let’s be honest, the show was meh. Three kind of worthless matches, FaceTime promo segments, and a tepid crowd, really didn’t do too much for the general aspect. We’ve all seen the different cage match “advantage” matches for the last like 40 years, so there was really no surprise in Myers winning, just more surprised they fed Aichner to him since he’s new. Harley and Lish have no chemistry and I frankly don’t put that on Harley. As much as I give credit to Lish for being a mouthpiece/valet, wrestling has never been her strong suit. At least the dork Mr Elegance is no longer undefeated.

I will give the show some credit with Cedric getting attacked and then it sounded like Allie will be getting a “Mystery Partner” for Lockdown, that changes things a little. I thought they framed the story that Rosemary had to be found by Lockdown, but now the graphic as ???, so IF the former “Knockouts Titleholder” that TNA claims to have signed is indeed Zelina Vega, that at least follows in the spooky footprint. It could also end up being Kiera Hogan, maybe another dead person gets brought back from the Undead Realm.

So yea, the show was mediocre at best, the FaceTime promos were corny in 2026, and running the Cedric and Leon interview from last week back, was just filling time. Nothing helped sell the PPV, and again, that’s something TNA has been awful about the last 3 or 4 years. Go Homes are just always meh and rarely do anything to hype the PLE. Just stock standard tropes and color by numbers. This just really did nothing but take up space. See You Later, Space Cowboy.
