FULL DISCLOSURE

In an effort not to leave you, our Chairshot followers, in the dark, I’m hoping to explain how things will be going for the foreseeable future.

Because my day job of being a transcriptionist/transcriber for Rev.com is now in dire, dire straits, I am not making nearly enough to maintain all of the wrestling coverage I’ve been doing. I made it through the NJPW G1 Climax, I made it through ROH Death Before Dishonor, and while I’ve already cut those down to the bare minimum, I just cannot continue with them.

ROH is already so variable because I never know how long the weekly episodes are going to be, and then they throw YouTube specials in almost completely unadvertised. Stopping ROH is because of a combination of money and time, both finite resources. NJPW is a bit different, definitely more the time commitment than the money, because when NJPW does something, they do a lot. The G1 just happened and that was a lot to do multiple days a week, and it’s gonna be the same when Super Junior Tag League shows up in October.

If things change for the better, I’ll happily get back to these promotions. And I’ll do my best to keep up with results in the meantime, so I’m not lost. But as of right now, there won’t be a coverage article for ROH, and I’ll have to see about NJPW. Maybe it’ll just be results only, no play by play.
