For being the Greatest Women’s World Champion of Alllll~ Tiiiime~, she’s sure needed Judgment Day to help her survive. The Genius of the Sky has faced those odds before, and she’s ready for anything they can throw at her. But will no one be ready for Iyo to be back on top? Or will Liv put her money where her mouth is?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who’s really the greatest of all time!

The bell rings and the two tie up. The fans rally as Iyo puts Liv in the corner, but backs off as the ref kicks. Liv kicks low, THROWS Iyo down, then stomps away! Liv HAMMERS away on Iyo, then grins as she stalks Iyo to the ropes. Liv bumps Iyo off buckles, flexes, and the fans are torn. Liv storms back over to Iyo, pie faces her, then whips. Iyo reverses, KNEES Liv low, then sits her down to stomp away! The ref counts but the fans cheer, and Iyo stops at 4. Iyo then has Liv in the corner, digs both boots in, and SWINGING KNEE DROP! Iyo brings Liv up, underhooks, but Liv fights the lift! Iyo ducks the lariat, then handsprings through!

Iyo trips Liv, then SHOTGUNS her down! The fans fire up while Liv bails out, and Iyo goes to the apron. Iyo goes up but Liv YANKS her down! Iyo blocks a shot, ROCKS Liv, and the fans fire up again. Iyo high-fives fans, then gets some help going up to the barriers! But Liv YANKS her back down! Iyo stumbles, Liv THROWS her into the barriers! The fans are torn but Liv shouts at the ref about the ring count. Liv puts Iyo in the ring, then runs up to SHOTGUN her down! Iyo ends up in a corner and Liv stomps away! The ref counts, Liv shouts at her, but the fans continue to rally. Liv stomps away on Iyo, but stops as the ref counts.

Liv has a sinister smile, and she scuffs Iyo. Iyo goes to center, Liv KICKS her in the side! Iyo writhes, but Liv brings him up. Liv snap suplexes, that’s Una Amiga! Liv snap suplexes again, Dos Amigas! The fans boo but Liv still brings Iyo up for THREE AMIGAS! The fans are torn over Liv’s Latina Heat, but she runs up to ENZIGIRI! Cover, TWO! Iyo survives but Liv nods. The fans rally as Liv brings Iyo up and whips her to the corner. Liv runs in, ELBOWS, then returns to SHINING WIZARD! Liv snapmares Iyo, runs, but Iyo wheelbarrows, victory rolls, for STOMP 182! The fans fire up while both women are down!

The fans rally as both women stand, and Iyo SHOTEIS! Then FLAPJACKS! Iyo winds up, BUZZSAW! Iyo brings Liv up, whips, but Liv reverses. Iyo goes up, out, and then blocks a shot to HOTSHOT Liv’s arm! Liv crawls away, but Iyo goes up top! Iyo MISSILE DROPKICKS and Liv flounders away! Iyo kips up, handsprings, and the fans fire up with her crazy dance! Iyo runs corner to corner, SHINKANSEN! Iyo then pushes Liv down, and Liv flounders to the apron. Liv RAMS Iyo, but Iyo KICKS Liv! Iyo then runs, DIVES, and SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMBS to the floor! The fans fire up while both women are down again!

The ring count starts, but Iyo rises up. The fans rally as Iyo gets Liv up and puts her in the ring. Iyo hurries after Liv with some stomps, then she goes to the corner. The fans cheer, but Roxanne Perez appears! And that means Raquel Rodriguez is after Iyo! CHOKE SLAM off the top!! Liv covers, TWO!! Iyo survives and the fans fire up! Judgment Day is furious, but they coach Liv up. Iyo goes to the ropes, Liv lines up a shot, OB- NO! Iyo BOOTS Liv! Roxie gets up, Iyo DECKS her! Liv comes back, but Iyo DUMPS her out onto Roxie & Raquel! Raquel manages to stay up, and she helps Liv, but Iyo is up top! ARIHARA MONSAULT onto Roxie & Raquel!

But Liv is in the ring save! Iyo notices that, hurries after her, but into a SPIKE-RANA! The fans rally for Iyo but Liv goes to the corner. Liv is taking a risk as she waits on Iyo, but Iyo SHOTEIS! Iyo hurries up after Liv, ELBOWS away, then brings her to the very top. SUPER SPANISH FLY! Iyo falls on the cover, TWO!! Liv survives but the fans are thunderous! “This is Awesome!” as both women slowly rise. Liv flounders against the ropes, Iyo ROCKS Liv! Liv ROCKS Iyo back! Iyo ROCKS Liv, so Liv ROCKS Iyo! The forearms go back and forth, harder and faster, and the fans are loving it! Liv HAMMERS away on Iyo, but then Iyo wrenches and hooks Liv up! TIGER FACEBUSTER!

Iyo isn’t done, she hoists Liv up, TIGER BACKBREAKER! Liv flounders to a corner, Iyo runs in, SHINKANSEN misses this time! OBVLI- NO! Iyo catches Liv and has the dragon sleeper! REVERSE TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! Liv is on ropes, Iyo runs up, and STEALS OBLIVION!! Cover, TWO!! Liv survives her own move and the fans are thunderous again! The fans rally harder as Iyo steps on Liv and goes to the corner. Iyo climbs right up, and OVER THE MOON- NO, Liv moves! Iyo hobbles, Liv goes up, FLYING CODE BREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Liv is freaking out as Iyo survives! The fans rally harder as Iyo rises, but Liv runs in!

Iyo dodges again, Liv slips outside, and Iyo has her in a waistlock! APRON GERMAN SUPLEX!! Liv flounders, Iyo runs up, SHINKANSEN again the post! Iyo pushes Liv in but her leg hurts from that double-edged attack. The fans rally as Iyo shouts, “I’m gonna be champ!” Iyo climbs up again, takes aim, OVER THE MOONSAULT onto KNEES! Liv hits back, and she reloads! OBLIVION but Iyo handsprings through!? But Liv CODE BREAKERS, and OBLIVION!!! Cover, LIV WINS!

Winner: Liv Morgan, by pinfall (still WWE Women’s World Champion)

Judgment Day may have played a factor, but in the end, Liv toughed it out to do it herself! Will Liv finally back up all the talk? As for Iyo, what will it take for her to get a title back around her waist?

Six Man Tag: Jacob Fatu & The Usos VS LA Knight, Solo Sikoa & Royce Keys!

The Bloodline is back in action, and that is not a good thing for everyone else. The Mega Star found that common ground with The Prodigal Son and The Powerhouse, who each used to call their opponents family. Will things be better once Jacob, Jimmy & Jey get slapped back to factory settings? Or will The Bloodline dominant the WWE then, now, and forever?

Plugging Gears of War, The Bloodline comes out in blackout gear, and Fatu wears a werewolf mask. Royce Keys makes his entrance after, followed by Solo, and then last but not least, L A Knight! Knight fires his team up, and they rush the ring! The brawl is on, the bell rings, and the fans fire up! Royce LARIATS Fatu out, Knight CLUBS #BigJim while Jey UPPERCUTS Solo! Jimmy whips but Knight reverses to BODY BLOW! Knight whips, Jimmy reverses, but Knight DUMPS Jimmy out! Then he WRECKS Fatu with a dropkick! But Jimmy is back, Jey holds the ropes, Jimmy FLIES onto Knight & Keys! But then Solo storms up on Jey!

Jey fires counter punches, “YEET! YEET! YEET!” But Solo blocks the haymaker to fire his own shits, do his own pop ‘n’ lock and “SUCK IT!” Then he DECKS Jey! Solo says let’s run it back, and the fans join in on YEETING! Solo then RUNS Jey over! Jey scrambles away and tags Fatu! The fans fire up as Solo and Fatu stare down. Solo starts poking fun at the geeking out, and he catches Fatu to a SAMOAN DROP! But Fatu’s right up as Solo makes fun of the all gas, no brakes with it. Solo turns around, into a SUPERKICK! Then a POP-UP SAMOAN DROP! The fans fire up for Fatu as he then SENTONS! Fatu then rains down forearms!

Fatu CHOKES Solo, but stops as the ref counts. Fatu talks trash on Solo, puts him on ropes, and CHOKES Solo more! The ref counts, Fatu stops, but that lets Jey get a cheap shot! Knight & Keys protest but Fatu UPPERCUTS Solo into the corner. Tag to Jimmy, he stomps a mudhole into Solo! Jimmy stops, tags Jey, and Jimmy RAMS Solo. Jey runs up to SMASH Solo! Solo flounders, Jey talks trash, and he CHOKES Solo! The ref counts, Jey stops, and Fatu HEADBUTTS Solo! The fans rally for Solo, that’s new. Jey tags Fatu and Fatu stomps Solo’s leg. Fatu tells Solo to come back to the family already and this can stop.

Fatu stomps Solo, HEADBUTTS Solo, then he taunts Solo’s team. Fatu runs corner to corner and HIP ATTACKS! Fatu continues to taunt Solo’s team, then he pushes Solo to a cover, TWO! Solo is tougher than that, but then Fatu SUPERKICKS Knight! The fans boo but Fatu goes back to Solo. Solo ROCKS Fatu! And ROCKS him again! And again! Solo then DECKS Jey! Solo and Fatu DOUBLE LARIAT and they’re both down! The fans fire up as both men crawl, hot tags to Jimmy and Keys! The fans fire up as The MonStar is unleashed! LARIAT after LARIAT, then a LARIAT in the corner! Then a whip, but Jimmy reverses, only for Royce to LARIAT after all!

Royce scoops Jimmy, carries him around, and WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM! Jey runs up, but Royce dodges, SKY HIGH! Jimmy staggers up, Royce JABS him to the corner, but Fatu is up! Royce BLASTS Fatu, but Jimmy SUPERKICKS! And SUPERKICKS! Royce goes to a corner, but Jimmy runs up to SUPERKICK! Jimmy shoves Royce down, goes up the corner, but Royce is right up after him! Royce goes up top, scoops Jimmy, but Jimmy holds onto the ropes! The fans rally as Royce pries Jimmy free, TOP CHOICE SLAM!! The fans fire up while both men are down! Royce and Jimmy crawl, hot tags to Jey and Knight!

The fans are thunderous as Knight rallies on Jey with elbows! Knight whips, redirects, and scoops to POWERSLAM! The fans fire up for Knight, he BLASTS Fatu, then he goes back to Jey. They spell it out, “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!” ELBOW DROP! Knight BOOTS Fatu off the apron, too, then kicks Jey. Jey says no to the BFT and SPEARS! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up again as Knight survives. Jey goes to a corner, climbs up, but Knight hurries up after him! MEGA PLEX! But Jimmy’s up top! USO SPLASH on Knight! But then Solo is in, clinch and URENAGE! Solo mocks the “YEET!” but Fatu gets Solo with an IMPALER!

Fatu geeks out, but Royce brings down the straps! The fans fire up as Fatu runs up, into the ULTIMATE SPINEBUSTER! Royce gets Fatu out of the ring, but Fatu SUPERKICKS! Fatu runs up on Royce, but Royce SCOOP SLAMS into the timekeeper’s area! The fans go nuts seeing that, and even Jey is stunned. Knight rolls Jey up, TWO! Jey dodges Knight, SPEAR! Tag to Jimmy and he’s up top! USO SPLASH!! Cover, TWO!! Knight survives and the fans are thunderous again! Jimmy is stunned, but he tags Jey. The Usos call their shot and wait on Knight. But SAMOAN SPIKE on Jimmy! Jey runs Solo ff, but Knight kicks Jey! B F T!! Cover, Knight’s team wins!

Winners: LA Knight, Solo Sikoa & Royce Keys, by pinfall

A massive win for these three, they managed to beat The Bloodline! Solo gets a handshake from Keys, but what about Knight? Knight HUGS it out with Solo! The fans cheer that! Will these three stick together to make sure The Bloodline won’t have their way?

GUNTHER VS Nick Aldis!

Der Ring General made a deal with Paul Heyman to be put on SmackDown, but then he became a bit of a diva thinking he could just get everything served on a silver platter. Push came to shove with the General Manager, and the GM decided to stop being a GM to be the man who was once NWA and TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Will Aldis prove that he’s still got it? Or will the #CareerKiller just add another name to the list?

The bell rings and the fans fire up already. Aldis and Gunther circle, tie up, and Gunther grabs an arm to wrench and wristlock. Aldis rolls, kips up, and wrenches back! Gunther powers Aldis to the ropes, the ref counts, but Gunther headlocks The fans boo but Gunther talks trash. Aldis endures, fights up, and powers out, only for Gunther to RUN him over! Aldis gets up in a huff, but Gunther hits a headlock takeover. The fans cheer Aldis on as he fights up, powers up and out again, but Gunther ARMS him! Gunther drops down,  hurdles over, then bails out to stand on the English commentary desk. The fans boo but Aldis waits.

Gunther returns to the ring as the ring count reaches 6 of 10. Gunther and Aldis reset, circle, and feel things out. They knuckle lock, then Gunther slips around to waistlock. They end up in a corner, the ref counts, but Gunther shifts to a wristlock. The ref counts, Gunther stops to CHOP, but Aldis fires haymakers! The fans fire up for Aldis as he fires even more shots! Aldis DECKS Gunther, headlocks, but Gunther powers up and out. Gunther jumps up but into Aldis’s arms! And then a pop-up for the suplex! Cover, TWO! Aldis wants legs! Gunther kicks free, runs up, but Aldis ELBOWS him away! Aldis goes up, but Gunther CHOPS him down!

The fans boos Aldis tumbles to the floor, but Gunther goes out the side. Gunther soaks up heat as he goes around the way, and he brings Aldis up to POST him! The fans boo as Gunther talks trash to Mickie James, aka Nick Aldis’ wife! Gunther puts Aldis in the ring, then storms up, but Aldis trips him! Aldis wants the legs but Gunther ROCKS him! And CHOPS him! The fans boo but Gunther soaks up that heat. Gunther paces around Aldis, then brings him up. Gunther wrenches and CHOPS! Aldis drops to a knee, but Gunther talks trash as he stands Aldis up. CHOP! Aldis grits his teeth, but Gunther swings. Aldis ducks, then fires haymakers!

Aldis CHOPS Gunther, and CHOPS again! Aldis whips Gunther, Gunther reverses, and Aldis hits buckles hard! Aldis slumps down in the corner, but Gunther whips him corner to corner! Aldis hits buckles again, drops to his knees, but Gunther soaks up more heat. Gunther whips, Aldis reverses, and Gunther hits buckles! Aldis scoops to BACKBREAKER! The fans fire up as Aldis has the legs! Gunther BOOTS free! And SLEEPER! Aldis flails, reaches out, and the fans rally up! Aldis still has it, but it just wasn’t enough against Gunther. But even so, Gunther got more of a fight out of Aldis than anyone expected. Will Gunther just move on and find his way back to a title opportunity? As for Aldis, the fans cheer him on as he stands back up. Aldis’ son, Donovan, joins him in the ring to hug it out, as does Mickie James. Is Aldis still the real winner in all of this?

Six Woman Tag: Fatal Influence VS Paige & The Bella Twins!

Jacy Jayne helped Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid take the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in Madison Square Garden, but now Nikki Bella is back to help her sisters get revenge! Will WWE be back on #ScreamMode soon enough? Or will we all be caught under the Influence?

The trios sort out and Fallon starts against Brie. The bell rings. Fallon dodges Brie to DECK her! Fallon mocks the “YES! YES! YES!” Fallon whips, Brie blocks hip toss but so does Fallon. Brie KNEES low, flips up and over, RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Brie powers up and KICKS Fallon! And KICKS, KICKS, KICKS! The fans cheer “YES! YES! YES!” Then a wind up and KICK! Jacy & Lainey run in, Brie dodges, Nikki & Paige trip them up! They drag The Influence outside, SMACK them off the steps, then go back up. CROSBSODY onto Lainey! LARIAT on Jacy! Brie ELBOWS Fallon, then goes up the corner!

Fallon staggers up, Brie ROCKS her, but Fallon distracts the ref. Jacy YANKS Brie down! The fans boo, Paige and Nikki protest, but Lainey puts Brie on the steps to STOMP her down! The fans boo more but The Influence gets away with it! Then Jacy CANNONBALLS Brie against the steps! Jacy says that’s why they’re taking over! Out with the old, in with the new! Jacy puts Brie in the ring, runs, and SENTONS! Cover, TWO! Jacy drags Brie up, whips her to the corner, then runs up and BACK BODY BLOCKS! Tag to Lainey, and Jacy sends Lainey in for an ELBOW! Brie falls, Lainey mocks the “YES!” before she covers, TWO!

The fans rally for Brie but Lainey has her in a chinlock. Brie fights up, fires body shots, but Lainey wrenches and bumps Brie off buckles. Lainey runs up, but Brie ELBOWS her away! Brie ROCKS Fallon, ROCKS Jacy, then dodges Lainey! Lainey tumbles out, Brie crawls, and the fans rally up! But Lainey distracts Nikki! Then she CLOBBERS Brie! Lainey BLASTS Paige, taunts Nikki, then runs up, but Brie LARIATS! Both women are down again, and Brie reaches out! Hot tag to Nikki! Nikki LARIATS Lainey, LARIATS again, then CRAVAT SMASH! Fallon is in but Nikki kicks her, and sends her into Jacy! LARIAT DDT COMBO!

The fans fire up as Nikki wrenches Lainey, BELLA BUSTER! Cover, TWO! The fans rally up as Nikki fireman’s carries Lainey. But Jacy distracts, so Nikki BLASTS her! But Lainey rolls Nikki, TWO! Jacy’s team proved they can outdo the icons in the numbers game, and as Jacy says, the icons aren’t needed anymore. Will Fatal Influence move on to the top of the mountain? But then NIKKI DECKS PAIGE! The Bellas mug Paige and the fans can’t believe it! But then Nikki sits Paige up, bends her back, and she SMACKS Paige off the mat! Then fireman’s carry, RACK ATTACK! The fans boo but The Bellas are still The Bellas. Will they prove they’re still the best tag team around? What is Paige to do now that she’s all alone?

Undisputed WWE Championship: CM Punk VS Cody Rhodes!

The “double main event” begins as The Second City Saint and the American Nightmare finally have it out in the ring! And though this match is for the title, this match is about much more. These two men have been friends, have walked similar paths, and have even been All Elite. Only one of them can be the champion, but can they still be friends no matter who reigns?

To plug Cody Rhodes starring in the new Street Fighter movie, his entrance starts with a fighter selection screen, then has Guile’s theme song! Cody even wears a Guile haircut helmet! Then Cody’s real theme kicks in, and fans sing along with Kingdom, “WHOA~ OH~!” Cody gets his pyro, goes to the ring, sets the helmet down, then gets the second “WHOA~ OH~!” and pyro. As for CM Punk, he walks the halls in Minnesota North Stars colored attire. He steps out on stage, kneels, and “IT’S CLOBBERIN’ TIME!” before Cult of Personality starts up. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and it’s time to see who is THE Best in the World!

The bell rings and the fans rally up already. Cody and Punk circle, feel things out, and they tie up. Punk puts Cody in a corner, backs off but gives a hard “pat” on the shoulder. The two tie up again, Cody powers Punk to a corner, but the ref counts. Cody lets off with that same “pat.” Punk CHOPS, Cody CHOPS, repeat, and the fans fire up. Cody whips corner to corner, Punk goes up, but Cody gets under the leap. Punk HIP TOSSES, then runs up to go up and headscissor! Cody tumbles, Punk KICKS him, then stomps him in the corner! The ref counts, Punk drags Cody up, and he WRINGS the arm out! Punk then clamps onto the bad arm for a hammerlock.

The fans rally as Cody fights up. Cody slips around, headlocks, and the fans duel. Punk powers up and out, but Cody RUNS Punk over! Cover, ONE, but Cody keeps moving to RUN Punk over! Cover, TWO, and Punk fireman’s carries! Cody slips free to hit a headlock takeover! The fans cheer the exchange, and Punk fights up. Punk powers up and out, but Cody RUNS Punk over. Cody hits another takeover, but Punk keeps his arm up. Cody forces Punk back down to a cover, ONE! Punk fights up, puts Cody on the ropes, but the ref counts. Punk CHOPS Cody, then follows him along the ropes. Punk CHOPS, but Cody bumps Punk off buckles.

Cody CHOPS Punk, then wrenches the arm. Punk wrenches, ELBOW BREAKERS, then WRINGS the arm! Cody scrambles away but Punk KICKS him against the ropes! Punk brings Cody up, wrenches again, then KICKS! And KICKS! Cody hobbles but Punk keeps after him. Punk YANKS the arm, snapmares, then CHOPS Cody on the back! And KICKS him in the chest! Cody huffs ‘n’ puffs, headlocks, then shifts sides. Cody switches to hammerlock, but Punks witches that onto Cody. Cody moves around, around, and around, to then SLING Punk outta the ring! The fans rally as Cody shakes out the arm, but Punk RAMS back in!

Cody KNEES Punk back out of the ring, then builds speed! Cody DIVES and down goes Punk! The fans fire up, Cody refreshes the ring count, and Cody drags Punk up. Cody THROWS Punk into the timekeeper’s area! Cody refreshes the count again, then hurries after Punk. Punk ROCKS Cody, then uses the barriers to jump and FLYING LARIAT! The fans rally as Punk brings Cody up, puts him in, and climbs the corner. Punk AX HANDLES Cody in the bad arm! Cody goes to ropes, shakes out the arm, but Punk brings him up. Punk snap suplexes, covers, ONE! Cody is tougher than that but Punk clamps onto him. Punk goes for the arm, but even fishhooks Cody’s face!

The ref reprimands, Punk shifts to a chinbar, but Cody fights up. Punk whips, Cody drops down to RHODES UPPERCUT! Punk staggers back, Cody whips him, but Punk reverses and CALF KICKS! But now Punk’s leg is bothering him! Punk runs up, SHINING WIZARD In the corner! The fans rally as Punk headlocks, but Cody stops the Bulldog! Cody has the leg, SHIN BREAKER! Punk hobbles, Cody KICKS the leg out! Punk falls hard but Cody goes after him again. Cody drags Punk to center, but Punk fights back. Cody grabs an arm to wrench it, but Punk goes to fireman’s carry! The bad leg won’t let him! Cody grabs the leg, DRAGON SCREW!

Cody drops a KNEE on the bad leg, then he ROCKS Punk! Cody stomps the leg, the fans boo, but Cody drags Punk up to put him in the corner. Cody RAMS into Punk, Cody fires elbows, repeat. Cody ROCKS Punk, then he puts the leg in the ropes to KICK it! The fans are torn but Cody headlock punches Punk! The ref reprimands but Cody brings Punk out, and DRAGON SCREWS him again! Punk writhes, but Cody grabs the leg! Cody has a modified toehold, then turns, but Punk throws hands from below! Punk kicks and kicks and kicks free! Cody stumbles away, Punk fireman’s carries! Cody fights free, springboards, but into a BOOT!

The fans fire up while both men are down! Cody goes to the ropes, but Punk gets him for a BULLDOG! Punk hurries to scoop and SLAM Cody into the drop zone! Punk hobbles his way over to the corner, climbs up top, but Cody hurries to ROCK Punk! Cody climbs up, CLUBS away on Punk, then goes up the corner. Cody drags Punk up, but Punk fires body shots! Punk ROCKS Cody, ROCKS him again, and Cody falls back! The fans rally as Punk adjusts up top, MACHO ELBOW! Cover, TWO! Cody survives but Punk says night-night! Fireman’s carry, but Cody fires elbows! Cody HAMMERS away on Punk!

Punk drops to a knee, and Cody springboards, CODY CUTTER! Cover, TWO! Punk survives and the fans fire up! Cody seethes, but he waits on Punk to rise. Cody springboard, DISASTER KICK! Cover, TWO! Punk survives, but Cody pulls at Punk’s kneepad! Cody punches right on the knee! The fans are torn as Cody hobbles around, and he calls his shot! Cody runs at the corner, goes up, up, up, and SUPER CODY CUTTER!! Cover, TWO!! Punk survives and Cody is frustrated. “This is Awesome!” as Cody waits on Punk to rise up. Cody lines up a shot, dragon sleepers, but Punk drops down to PELE the bad arm!

Cody grabs the bade leg, trips Punk, but Punk BOOTS free! Punk rolls Cody up, TWO! Punk fireman’s carries! GO TO- NO! Cody catches the leg, trips Punk, and has the FIGURE FOUR! The fans fire up as Punk endures! Punk HAMMERS Cody’s leg, but Cody puts on the pressure! Cody throws hands, Punk falls back, and his shoulders are down! TWO as Punk sits back up! The fans rally for Punk as he fights against the hold! Punk turns it over, now Cody suffers! But Cody turns it back over, only for Punk to have the ROPEBREAK! The fans are torn as Cody lets the leglock go. Punk huffs ‘n’ puffs but Cody grabs the bad leg again!

Cody drags Punk but Punk reels Cody into a takedown, and the ANACONDA VICE! Cody endures, reaches out, and finds the ROPEBREAK! The fans are torn as Punk lets go. Punk stomps Cody, KICKS, but that was the bad leg! Punk still keeps after Cody, fires body shots in the corner, then a CHOP! Cody sits down so Punk fires KNEE after KNEE! The ref counts, Punk stops at 4, and he vows to end it now! The fans cheer as Punk brings Cody up, fireman’s carries, but Cody grabs the ropes! Cody slips free, Alabama Lifts, and SPINS before the- NO, Punk slips free and brings Cody down again! ANACONDA VICE!!

Cody endures, pushes at Punk’s face, tries a headscissor, but Punk shrugs it off. Cody power sup to hook Punk after all, so Punk lets go to move and jackknife bridge! TWO as Cody bridges up! Cody spins Punk around, CROSS RHODES! Cover, TWO!! Punk survives and the fans are thunderous! Cody is rather shocked, but he huffs ‘n’ puffs and fires back up. The fans are torn as Cody brings Punk up, puts him on the top rope, then climbs up. Cody CLUBS Punk, then goes to the very top! The fans are worried as Cody dragon sleepers, but Punk fires shots from below! Punk ELBOWS Cody down, then adjusts position, MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!

Cody survives as Punk only clips him with that moonsault, but to think Punk would try that when he doesn’t even moonsault with two good legs. Punk brings Cody up, “This is Awesome!” as Punk hits the PEPSI TWIST! Cover, TWO! The fans rally, Punk stands Cody up to SLAP, SLAP, and BACKHAND! Then fireman’s carry, but Cody slips free! Punk ROCKS Cody, fireman’s carries again, GO TO SLEEP!! Cody falls, but so does Punk! The bad leg slows Punk down to the cover, TWO!! Cody survives by the delay, then he rolls out of the ring! Punk hurries out after Cody, SMACKS him off the Spanish desk, then does it again!

Punk snarls as he SMACKS Cody off the desk again! Cody flops down, and Punk clears the desk! The fans fire up as Punk climbs up, and he brings Cody up, but Cody TRIPS Punk! Cody then goes after Punk with a dragon sleeper, but Punk fights free! Punk fireman’s carries, but Cody slips free! Cody shoves Punk into the steel steps! Cody refreshes the ring count just in time! Then Cody clears the American desk! The fans rally as Cody puts Punk in the ring, steps back inside, but Punk fireman’s carries! GO TO SLEEP!! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Cody survives because Punk miscalculated! Punk is beside himself with how close he was, quite literally!

Punk goes out after Cody again, then drags Cody up. Punk puts Cody on the desk, and the fans fire up as Punk looks to the corner! Punk hobbles over, rolls inside, and he goes up the corner! Punk then aims at Cody, SUPER DUPER MACHO ELBOW but only through the desk! Cody avoids disaster, Punk crash lands, and the fans are losing their minds! Cody goes back to fetch Punk from the wreckage, and Punk is clutching the knee. Punk manages to stand, and Cody goes up, up, and SUPER CODY CUTTER but on the ref! Punk avoids disaster but Charles Robinson did not! And then Punk fireman’s carries! GO TO SLEEP!!

Cody stumbles, rebounds, and falls into place! Punk fireman’s carries again, but Cody slips free! Dragon sleeper, CROSS RHODES!! But Punk flops out of the ring! AND THEN RANDY ORTON SLITHERS IN?! R K O ON CODY!! The fans go nuts as The Viper slithers back out, and neither the ref nor Punk have any idea! Punk drags himself back into the ring, as does the ref, and Punk hobbles his way over. Fireman’s carry, GO TO SLEEP!! Cover, Punk wins!!

Winner: CM Punk, by pinfall (still Undisputed WWE Champion)

Speaking of friendships that fell apart, it was because of Cody’s former friend and mentor, Randy Orton, that Cody is still a former Undisputed Champion. Will Cody have to cut the head off the snake for this? Will Punk be ready for whoever comes after him next?

Hell in a Cell: Brock Lesnar VS Oba Femi!

The “double main event” wraps, and while Cody VS Punk got wild, this one is going to be brutal! These titans have already clashed twice this year, and this tiebreaker takes things to another level as they step inside the sadistic steel structure of “The Cell.” Or, as Paul Heyman is putting it, “The Brocktagon,” for no one has been able to slay The Beast inside this cage. Will that not change even now? Or will The Ruler finally put The Beast down once and for all?

The fans cheer for “O~BA! O~BA!” but then they erupt as Lesnar makes his entrance! The introductions are made, Paul Heyman of course taking over for Lesnar’s. “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman! Introducing the Beast of the Brocktagon, weighing 303 pounds, fighting out of the University of Minnesota, BRRRROCK! LEEESNARRR!” Heyman exits, The Cell lowers, and we see who survives going through Hell!

The bell rings and Oba kicks low! Oba UPPERCUTS, then fires off in the corner! Oba RAMS into Lesnar again and again, then UPPERCUTS! Oba whips corner to corner, runs and UPPERCUTS again! Oba fires more shots, then runs, but Lesnar dodges the uppercut! GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as that’s just the first! GERMAN SUPLEX again! And GERMAN SUPLEX again! Minneapolis is Suplex City, but Oba rises up!? The fans fire up and Lesnar is shocked! Oba LARIATS Lesnar up and out! Lesnar tumbles into the steel, then Oba goes out after him! Oba SMACKS Lesnar off the apron, then stalks him.

Oba whips Lesnar into more steel, almost wiping out the camera crew over there. But then Lesnar whips Oba into steel steps! Lesnar snarls as he storms up on Oba, reels him in, but Oba fights the suplex. Oba suplexes Lesnar to the floor! The fans fire up while Lesnar stretches out his back. But Oba gets him up to THROW him into the steel steps! The fans rally as the steps pop apart, and then Oba brings out a TABLE! The fans cheer that as Oba props the table up against the Cell. Oba goes back for Lesnar, ROCKS him, then whips him through the table! Lesnar is down in the wreckage, but Oba brings out chairs!

Oba puts the chairs in the ring, then puts Lesnar in. Heyman is nervous but Oba stalks Lesnar. But Lesnar has the top part of the steps! Lesnar CLOBBERS Oba with them! The fans fire up as Lesnar dares Oba to get back up! Oba rises up, staggers, and Lesnar CLOBBERS him with the steps again! Lesnar paces while Oba is down, then stalks him. GERMAN SUPLEX! Oba sputters, but Lesnar is sore from the damage he’s taken. Lesnar storms back up on Oba, waistlocks, and GERMAN SUPLEXES again! The fans cheer as that’s five so far, and Lesnar grabs a chair. Lesnar SMACKS Oba down! The fans are torn as Lesnar waits on Oba, and SMACKS him again!

Lesnar looms over Oba, brings him up, and snap suplexes! Oba flounders but he manages to rise up. Lesnar is on him, reels him in, and he aims for a chair! Lesnar suplexes Oba onto the chairs! Oba writhes, but Lesnar stands tall to the cheers from the fans. Oba manages to rise up again, and Lesnar fireman’s carries! F- NO! Oba lands out, whips, and CHOKE SLAM! Both men are down while the fans fire up! The fans rally as Oba and Lesnar stand, and Oba blocks a shot to fire body shots! Lesnar goes to a corner, Oba UPPERCUTS! Oba gets moving again, UPPERCUT! And then an- NO, Lesnar fireman’s carries and- NO, Oba slips free! CHOKE SLAM again!

Oba hurries to get Lesnar up, and lifts for the SHOTPUT! The fans are thunderous as Oba just kicks it into gear! Lesnar stumbles, Oba pops him up! FALL FROM GRACE!! Cover, TWO?!?! Lesnar survives and the fans are thunderous again! Lesnar then sits up, and BOOTS Oba! Oba stumbles, Lesnar fireman’s carries! F5!! But Oba’s back up!? So Lesnar fireman’s carries again! F5!! But Oba’s still back up!? So Lesnar just goes for it again! F5!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Oba survives and shocks everyone! Heyman says to keep going, and Lesnar grabs a chair. Lesnar SMACKS Oba down! And SMACKS Oba again! And again, and again!

Lesnar tosses the bent chair, snarls as he storms around, and then he starts ripping at the mat? Lesnar RIPS the canvas off to expose padding, then he RIPS the padding to expose the wood! The fans freak out as Lesnar is going to extremes very few are willing to match! The fans fire up as Lesnar roars, and he brings Oba up! Fireman’s carry and then a gut wrench?! Shoutout to Undertaker with a TOMBSTONE on the wood!!! Cover, TWO?!?!?! Oba shocks everyone again!! Oba is superhuman to a level even Lesnar doesn’t understand! Lesnar has a chair, but Oba PUNCHES the chair away! And then pop-up, and FALL FROM GRACE!!! Cover, OBA WINS!!!

Just as Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak, Oba ended Lesnar’s Hell in a Cell Streak! Truly, an odyssey between these two titans, but this is why Oba is The Ruler! Will the Bringer of War, the King of the Ring, The Beast Slayer, truly be unstoppable? As for Lesnar, he and Oba share one last stare down, then Lesnar manages to get back up and into the ring. Lesnar takes off his elbow pads, and he HUGS Oba! The fans cheer as Lesnar raises Oba’s hand in victory, having passed the torch. Lesnar then asks for a mic, and a mic is given. “Minnesota! And the whole wide world watching this sh*t tonight! C’mere, Oba! Right here’s the future of the WWE!”

The fans cheer, and Lesnar has Oba stay to shake his hand again. Lesnar congratulates Oba, and says that while Lesnar is the past, Oba is the future! The fans cheer that, and Lesnar heads out. Is this truly Lesnar’s final moment? Is this truly Lesnar riding off into the sunset to leave WWE in the powerful hands of the NEW Next Big Thing?

My Thoughts:

A great start to SummerSlam weekend, though also another example of WWE having to indulge the sponsors here and there. Aside from Cody’s hilariously cheesy Guile helmet, the product placement wasn’t even that well done. Gears of War sponsoring the Six Man Tag, but the most we got was logos on the new gear. I was kinda expecting them to be carrying those prop rifles or wearing like big shoulder pads, but nope. Still a very good Six Man Tag, though maybe not quite PLE level. Bloodline losing was a little surprising, but perhaps this is because they’re going to escalate the story and keep it going towards Survivor Series, as far off as that still is.

Great Women’s World title match, but personally felt like the wrong choice. For one, Iyo handsprings through ObLIVion, that should’ve stunned Liv and thrown her off her game. Also, how can the Judgment Day dysfunction grow stronger if they’re having success? Furthermore, who is there right now that can challenge Liv next? There hasn’t been word of Stephanie Vaquer’s return, Sol Ruca’s gonna want revenge by taking the Women’s IC title back first, and they really missed their window on Roxie turning on Liv. I can’t even be sure how Danhausen VS Dominik for the “human moneys” is gonna go, but the money is a weird thing to hinge Judgment Day’s stability on.

Great match from Gunther VS Aldis, Aldis looks great even after all this time away from the ring, but Gunther winning out was the right choice given all that time away for Aldis. I’m still wondering if Aldis “gets the bug” and wants to wrestle more. Very good Six Woman Tag, but maybe even less PLE level than the Six Man Tag. Granted, it was Nikki’s first match back, and despite her title reigns, Nikki’s never been a top wrestler. Fatal Influence winning and The Bellas turning all made sense, but hopefully Brie isn’t hurt given she was clutching her shoulder at the end. Not sure who Paige could find as a partner to fight The Bellas and/or Influence, but she’ll definitely come back with some fire.

I did not expect the “double main event” like that, with the title match before HIAC, but given all the circumstances, it makes sense Lesnar would get to close. Cody VS Punk was great, and kudos to Punk doing that table spot. Randy Orton screwing Cody over was wild, but seems there’s more for those two to fight out. Is this going to be a “make good” on how they shoved Pat McAfee into the story? Lesnar VS Oba was a very good HIAC, though not as outright rough or bloody as others. Though, I did appreciate Lesnar going for bare wood boards to make Oba look like the toughest human being in pro-wrestling history. And naturally, Oba won, Lesnar gave a nice goodbye promo to pass the torch, and it’s now just a matter of when, where, and who Oba challenges for a title.
