While The Last Real Good Guy may have a point about getting screwed out of the title, and out of his rematch for the title, he’s still getting another chance. But Sami only gets that chance if he can get past a man looking for his own return to the top. Will The Prince be one step away from regaining the throne? Or will there be #Justice4Sami?

Wait, Nick Aldis is here, back in his General Manager role! The fans cheer the National Treasure as he has everyone wait. He is indeed reinstated as GM, and in the effort of calling things down the middle and do what’s best for business, he is making an executive decision to add a participant to the match! The fans fire up but Sami is freaking out! And then everyone goes nuts seeing that Aldis is adding GUNTHER!! Der Ring General shakes Aldis’ hand, but why is Aldis doing this for the biggest thorn in his side? Is Gunther going to screw over Sami and Finn in one go? Or can one of them still win now that the odds aren’t in their favor?

The bell rings and Kevin fires off on Gunther! Finn goes after Kevin but Kevin fires back! Kevin stomps Finn in a corner, Gunther storms up, but Kevin fires shots! Gunther KNEES low, whips, but Kevin reverses to then LARIAT! Sami is just watching as Kevin CANNONBALLS Finn, then CANNONBALLS Gunther! Kevin roars, the fans are thunderous, and Sami steps closer. Kevin goes up?! The fans go nuts as Kevin SUPER CANNONBALLS! The fans are thunderous again, and to think Kevin’s been out with a neck injury the way he’s going! Kevin goes up, up, and SWANTON BOMBS Gunther! Gunther staggers up, into a kick and- NO, Gunther stops the stunner with a SLEEPER! The fans boo, but Sami CLUBS Gunther, and BLUE- NO, Finn CLUBS Sami and dragon sleepers! But Gunther BOOTS Finn down while he DDTS Sami! Then a BOOT on Kevin! Gunther whips Sami to KNEE low, then whip and KNEE again! Gunther reels Sami in, turns him, and CHOPS him down!

The fans boo but Gunther huffs ‘n’ puffs as he stands tall. Gunther soaks up heat, then stalks Finn to ropes. Gunther brings Finn around, but Finn ROCKS and CHOPS on repeat! Just as Hollywood Trick was trying to settle things with Carmelo Hayes, The Nomad returned home just to jump right into the thick of it. But will Corbin #CauseThePain and take the gold? Or will Trick use his lemon pepper steppers to kick Corbin’s ass?

Lil’ Yachty returns and asks Minnesota what’s the deal! Let’s keep it real! He ain’t gonna take up too much time, he’s sending someone 6’5″, 250 pounds! Make some noise for his dawg, TRICK WILLAY~! Trick indeed makes his entrance, brand new robe for the occasion. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who gets whooped!

The bell rings, and throws hands on Corbin! The fans fire up as Trick throws shots, but Corbin shoves him back. Corbin runs up, but into a FLAPJACK! Trick sets the table up at ringside, Yachty helping out, but Corbin rolls into the ring. Trick pursues, but Corbin then bails out the other side. The fans boo but Trick goes out the side to runs up, but into DEEP SIX on the floor! The fans boo as Corbin goes into the ring again. The count starts, and Trick is still down at 5 of 10. Corbin goes back out, brings Trick up, and RAMS him into barriers! Then POSTS him! Trick falls over, the ring count is climbing again, but Corbin sends Trick into steel steps! Corbin rolls back into the ring, the ring count climbs again, but Trick manages to roll in at 8. Only for Corbin to HAMMER away!

The fans boo as Corbin just keeps after Trick, but the ref reprimands as they’re starting to get in the ropes. Corbin HAMMERS away again, then talks trash on the fans. The fans boo, Yachty is upset, but Corbin goes back to Trick. Corbin drags Trick up, BODY BLOWS, then ROCKS him with a haymaker! Corbin whips Trick hard into buckles, then LARIATS him down! Corbin continues to HAMMER away on Trick as the fans boo. Corbin says he doesn’t suck, he’s the one winning! Corbin stalks Trick, kicks him to the apron, then drags him up. Corbin winds up to ROCK Trick! Trick hits back! The fans cheer, but Corbin fires another shot!

Trick and Corbin brawl with the ropes between them, and then Corbin CLAWS Trick’s face! Trick falls, the ref reprimands, and Yachty gets mad at Corbin. The fans cheer Yachty, but Corbin CLOBBERS him! The fans boo again but Corbin smirks. But then Yachty brings out the Trick Stick! Corbin says hey now, let’s calm down! Yachty chases Corbin into the ring, and Trick is in the corner. Rhea Ripley is out with injury, and while there is no timetable on her return, the show must go on! Though, perhaps surprisingly, there won’t be a true new champion but a substitute. Even so, that is a huge honor, and everyone wants to hold the gold! But will it be The Queen, The Storm, The Wrestling Barbie, The Hot Mess, or the Bougie Bully that fills Mami’s shoes?

But Charlotte doesn’t even wait for Jade, she goes after her at the ramp! The fans fire up as these two brawl and the bell rings! Charlotte sends Jade into barriers, but Jade returns the favor! Then Jade SMACKS Charlotte off a ladder! And off it again! Charlotte ELBOWS Back, and she sends Jade into the ladder! Tiff KICKS Lash form the steps, then FLYING- NO! Lash powers up to lift and LADDER BOMB Tiff! But then Chelsea DIVES, but Lash catches her! And she CHOKE SLAMS Chelsea into the ladder! Lash tips the ladder over so she can fold it up and slide it into the ring. Charlotte digs her knee into Jade’s head while Lash THROWS Chelsea into the crowd!

Lash goes to the ring, looks to the title, but Charlotte grabs the ladder! Lash runs up, Charlotte KICKS her away, then Charlotte steps in. Charlotte dodges to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! The fans “WOO~” with every CHOP, but Lash shoves her away. Charlotte dodges Lash, then dodges again! Handspring- NO, Lash blocks the shot to scoop, and she SLAMS Charlotte on the ladder! Lash kicks Charlotte aside, drags the ladder into place, but theN Jade grabs the other end! The fans fire up as they toss the ladder aside and step up. But then Tiff & Chelsea rush in! But Jade & Lash take their ladder, take a swing, but Chelsea & Tiff duck!

Chelsea & Tiff DOUBLE SUPERKICK, then they have Lash & Jade on ropes! Team BFFFL (Best Friends Forever Fighting on Ladders) fires up, and they run to KNEE Jade and HIP ATTACK Lash! Then they trade, HIP ATTACK Jade and KNEE Lash! Then they have targets in corners, #HotMessTime! They both get up on the corners, and they rain down fists! The fans cheer and count to nine, but both Lash and Jade shove BFFFL and BOOT! The fans are torn as Jade and Lash stare down. Jade dodges Lash to then GERMAN SUPLEX! Jade kips up, the fans are torn, but Charlotte is up top! CROSSBODY! The fans fire up for Charlotte as she gets the ladder.

Charlotte JAMS Jade and sends her outta the ring! Charlotte puts the ladder sideways in the corner, but Lash is back! Charlotte wrenches, Lash fireman’s carries, and Lash military press SLAMS Charlotte! The fans are torn but Lash grabs the big ladder from earlier. Lash stands this ladder up, positions it, but Tiff hits a FLYING CODE BREAKER! The fans fire up for their Women’s US Champion, but Charlotte is there! The fans are torn, but these two circle. Tiff fires a shot, Charlotte fires back, and the fans fire up! They go forearm for forearm, then Tiff dodges a boot! Tiff wheelbarrows, but Charlotte FACEBUSTERS off the sideways ladder!

But Charlotte turns around, Chelsea MISSILE DROPKICKS! Tiff checks her face, then FLAPJACKS Charlotte off the ladder! The fans fire up as now Chelsea has the main ladder! Chelsea hurries up, up, but Jade shakes the ladder! Jade then drags Chelsea down, CLUBS her, and chicken wings! JADED on the sideways ladder! Chelsea flops out of the ring, Jade climbs up! The fans boo but she’s almost at the top! Tiff stops Jade this time, but Jade blocks the rung bump to guzel. Tiff slips free of the choke slam to BACKSTABBER! And now Tiff climbs! The fans fire up, but Charlotte grabs a leg! Tiff kicks free, but Charlotte’s right after her!

Lash gets a new ladder and brings it in while Tiff and Chelsea brawl. Chelsea SMACKS Tiff off rungs, then sees Lash coming. Lash still JAMS Charlotte, but then Tiff traps Lash in a corner as she RAMS the ladder again and again! Then she DRIBBLES Lash off the rungs! The fans fire up, Tiff climbs onto the ladder, and she drags Lash up. But then Lash guzels! And from up top, POP-UP POWEROBMB on the sideways ladder!! Tiff writhes and screams in agony while Lash talks some trash. Lash then hops down, repositions her ladder, but Charlotte BOOTS her into it! Charlotte climbs! She’s already up top so fast!

Charlotte has the hanger in hand, but Jade takes the ladder out from under her!! Charlotte dangles like a certain Charismatic Enigma once did, and then Jade and Lash each grab a foot! They YANK her down, catch her, and then Jade SMACKS Lash using Charlotte! Then she THROWS Charlotte into the corner ladder! Lash returns to PUMP THE BRAKES! Down goes Jade, and Lash positions a ladder! Lash hurries to climb, but Tiff is back! The fans cheer as Tiff hurries up after Lash! Tiff fires hands, CLUBS Lash down, then reaches out. But Lash YANKS Tiff down! Lash gets under Tiff so she can LADDER- RANA!!

Tiff sends Lash into rungs, Lash tumbles out, and Tiff makes sure the ladder is in just the right spot. Tiff reaches up, that’s not a good spot! And Chelsea is there! The fans cheer, is Chelsea gonna? She’s gonna! She SHOVES the ladder, and Tiff SUPER SWANTONS onto everyone else!! The fans are thunderous as Chelsea positions the ladder in just the right spot! Chelsea climbs, reaches out, but THE BADDIES ARE HERE! The fans boo as B-Fab & Michin drag Chelsea down, stick her in the rungs, and mug her! The fans boo but Mia sits Chelsea up for Fab’s BOOT! Then the Baddies hurry to fetch Jade. The fans boo harder but Mia makes sure there’s a ladder ready.

Jade climbs, Fab giving her a boost, but Charlotte is back! BOOT for Fab, HAYMAKER for Mia! Charlotte LARIATS Mia up and out, then shakes Jade’s ladder! Jade kicks Charlotte down, but Charlotte is right back up! Charlotte climbs, she and Jade brawl, and then Lash and Tiff are back, climbing a third ladder! There’s brawling all over, and Jade steps over to BOOT the ladder! Down go Tiff and Lash! Jade climbs, Charlotte climbs, but Charlotte chooses to bring Jade back over! They brawl again, and the fans rally for Chelsea as she’s still dangling! Charlotte ROCKS Jade, then brings her down with a SUPER BULLDOG!

The fans erupt because Chelsea sits up! Chelsea rises, climbs, and has the belt! CHELSEA WINS!

Human Money on a Pole Match: Danhausen VS Dominik Mysterio!

The ongoing saga of “The Cursefather” and Judgment Day, it was a Slammy Award winning comeback in Madison Square Garden on par with that of the New York Knicks. But Dirty Dom is not giving up on getting back the money he foolishly gave over to Danhausen in the first place. Raquel Rodriguez has the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Liv Morgan retained her Women’s World Championship, will Dom add the final piece to Judgment Day’s piece de resistance? Or will Danhausen have the fun and the money?

The bell rings, Dom runs up, and he CLOBBERS Danhausen! Dom goes right for the pole, but Danhausen yanks him down. Danhausen ROCKS Dom, goes for the pole, but Dom yanks him down! Dom KNEES low, then DROPKICKS Danhausen onto the ropes! Dom dials it up, 619 misses as Danhausen dodges! Danhausen then wrenches and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Dom staggers to the corner, Danhausen runs up and LARIATS! Danhausen keeps going, another LARIAT! And then Dom dodges! Dom LARIATS Danhausen down! The fans boo but Dom stalks Danhausen to the corner. Dom stomps away on Danhausen, then climbs over him to go to the pole!

Danhausen anchors a foot, Dom steps down to stomp Danhausen again. Dom drags Danhausen up to snap suplex! That’s Uno Amigo, then Dom hits Dos Amigos! The fans rally as Dom brings Danhausen up, gives some Latino Heat, then THREE- NO, Danhausen slips free, DDTHAUSEN! The fans fire up as Danhausen rises! Danhausen then crawls to the corner, climbs up, but JD MCDONAGH is here! JD YANKS Danhausen down, throws hands, and can’t be stopped because there’s No Disaqualificationhausens! JD goes up, MOONSAULTS, and direct hit! But then the Minihausens are back and they attack JD!

JD BOOTS one, SHOVES the other, then scoop SLAMS the third! The fans boo but JD grab the forth for a CHOKE SLAM! Only time he can do that… JD then drags up another Minihausen, but that one RANAS JD! And DROPKICKS! Then whips, but JD reverses, but Minihausen springboards to FLYING HEADBUTT! That’s not just any Minihausen, that’s TORITOHAUSEN! And he runs to tilt-o-whirl DDT! JD flounders out of the ring and the fans fire up! Then the Minihausens form a ladder for Toritohausen to climb! Does this count? Dom BOOTS them all down before we find out! The fans boo but Dom stomps away on one!

But then Toritohausen says FLYING RANA! Dom tumbles out, Toritohausen FLIES! Down goes Dom and the fans fire up! And now Danhausen is back! Danhausen hurries to the corner, hurries to climb up, but JD HEADBUTTS! The fans boo but JD storms back in to TOSS Danhausen back out! JD THROWS Toritohausen, then coaches Dom up. JD anchors Danhausen’s legs, but “Say his name and he appears!” JOE HENDRY is here, guitar in hand! He owes Judgment Day, so here’s a kick and a SMASH HIT for JD! Hendry helps Danhausen back in while Dom also rises up. The fans fire up as the two stare down, then they look to the money!

Dom BOOTS Danhausen, climbs up, but Danhausen CLUBS Dom! Danhausen climbs up, fires hands with Dom, then goes to the very top! But Dom fires body shots! Danhausen lands on his Very Nice, Very Evil spot! Dom goes up, has the bag, but Danhausen shouts, “You! Are! Cursed!” PYRO! Dom falls, Danhausen rises, and Danhausen grabs the bag! DANHAUSEN WINS!

Winner: Danhausen (keeps the human money)

The fans cheer as justice is served! Or, something like that. Well, point is, Judgment Day is now broke and the butt of the joke. And then Danhausen gives the money away to the people! As for Judgment Day, how are they ever going to live this down?

To think that once upon a time, The Man with No Fear frustrated The American Made Man to the point that he became El Grande Americano. But after that journey ended in defeat and the loss of the mask, Gable was humbled and enlightened in the significance of lucha libre. Gable has his forgiveness, but will winning the title in his hometown be his redemption? Or will WWE still have #CeroMiedo?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who takes that free ride to the highway in the sky!

The bell rings and the fans fire up for Gable as he stares Penta down. Gable and Penta step up, shake hands, and the fans cheer again. But Penta keeps Gable from turning around to tell him he’s not going easy. The two circle, tie up, and Penta waistlocks. Gable switches, Penta switches, repeat, and Gable trips Penta! ANKLE LOCK! Penta scrambles, rolls, and has Gable in a victory roll, ONE! Gable dodges, but Penta RANAS! Gable gets up, dodges, and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! Gable keeps moving, ROLLING LIGER KICK! Penta stumbles to a corner and the fans fire up as Gable runs in! But Penta SUPERKICKS! Then SLING-DOGS!

The fans rally while Penta fires up, but Gable comes back! Penta manages to scoop and BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Gable is tougher than that, and Minneapolis is behind him. Penta brings Gable up, puts him on the ropes, and he pulls the straps aside so he can CHOP! Gable falls, the fans “WOO~,” and Penta says here goes. Penta pump handles, Gable slips free and shoves, and Penta springboards, but into a waistlock! GERMAN SUPLEX! And then GERMAN SUPLEX! And then GERMAN SUPLEX again! Bridging cover, TWO! Penta survives Gable turning this into his own Suplex City, but he gets Penta again!

Gable LARIATS, then goes up! MOONSAULT into a SUPERKICK! Cover, TWO! Gable survives and the fans fire up again! Gable goes to a corner, Penta runs up, GAMANGIRI! Penta sits Gable down, then headstands for the SWINGING DROP- NO, Gable BOOTS Penta, then rolls into a takedown! ANKLE LOCK! Penta scrambles again, and he FLINGS Gable up and out! Then Penta FLIES! Down goes Gable but that was a rough landing for Penta, too!

“This is Awesome!” as the ref checks both men, and both men are able to continue. Penta rises as the ring count climbs, and he puts Gable in the ring. The fans rally as Gable hobbles away. Penta hobbles in, catches Gable, half nelson and pump handle, PENTA DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Both men are down again but the fans rally up. Penta and Gable crawl to each other at center, go forehead to forehead, and Penta CHOPS! Gable drops to a knee, but Penta eggs him on. Gable ROCKS Penta! Penta CHOPS! Gable CHOPS! Penta CHOPS again! The CHOPS go back and forth and the fans fire up as it turns into a scrap!

Penta SUPERKICKS again, then runs, but into a BUCKLE BELLY2BELLY! Cover, TWO! Penta survives another crash landing, but Gable shakes out the bad arm as he goes up the corner. Gable leaps, but into a trap! Then Penta HAMMERS away to get the other arm! DARK SACRIFICE!! Gable writhes, Penta covers, TWO!! Gable survives but that arm is in even more pain! Gable also has a bloody cut on his forehead from his crash landing earlier. Penta runs up to BUZZSAW the arm! And KICKS it again! Gable flounders, but he refuses to give up. Penta says sorry, but he has to win this. SUPERKICK! Penta then calls his shot!

Penta runs up, DEST- NO, Gable blocks the Destroyer, powers through to roll and ANKLE LOCK!! Penta rolls, Gable ends up in a corner, but Gable dodges. Gable runs up, Penta puts him up top, but Gable catches him to a HANGING ARMBAR! The ref counts, Gable lets go at 4, and Gable winds up, only for Penta to block! Penta KICKS low, then TRIANGLE JUMP- NO! Gable stops the Destroyer, then spins Penta around, APRON GERMAN SUPLEX!! The fans are thunderous as Penta is down! The count starts, but Gable climbs! ARIHARA MOONSAULT!! Down goes Penta again, and Gable drags him up.

Gable puts Penta in, goes back up, and the fans rally as hard as they can! DIVING HEADBUTT!! Cover, TWO!! Penta survives, Gable’s bad arm being the problem! Gable huffs ‘n’ puffs and storms up on Penta. Gable puts Penta up, throws hands, then climbs up. The fans rally but Penta fires body shots in return. Penta HEADBUTTS Gable, Gable drops to the apron, and Penta lines up a shot! APRON DESTROYER!!! Penta kicks Gable into the ring, covers, TWO?!?! Gable survives and the fans are thunderous! Penta is in disbelief, but he is not giving up, he just wants another one! DESTR- FLAPJACK! ANKLE LOCK!!

The fans are electric as Gable has the leg! Penta reaches out, fights around, but Gable keeps him at center! Gable puts on the pressure, then YANKS Penta from the ropes!! GRAPEVINE!! Penta TAPS, Gable wins!!

Winner: Chad Gable, by submission (NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion)

As great as Penta had been running as champion, this moment just meant that much more to Gable! He finally has his first singles title in WWE, and it happens in front of his friends, family, and fans here in Minneapolis! And just as big, Penta gives Gable the respect he’s earned by helping him up, and putting the belt around Gable’s waist! Gable even gets to celebrate with his family, from wife to kids to parents, all in the ring! Then he gets a mic, and as the fans chant “You Deserve It,” Gable says, “My name is Chad Gable. And I was born, raised, and I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota!” The fans cheer that!

Gable continues by saying, “And this is my family who stood by me through the highs and lows, all the way to this moment right now where I can say I AM the Intercontinental Champion!” The Gables stand together as Chad lifts the belt and gets his pyro! Will Gable take the momentum from this “Minneapolis Miracle” and keep on running?

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns VS Seth Rollins!

In the current WWE roster, no two men have more history, and no two men have more animosity, than this combination right here. The Shield, the breakup, the reunion, the fallout, and so much more across their 14 YEARS together, and this could very well be the final chapter of their storied rivalry. Will the Tribal Chief FINALLY have that singles win over The Architect? Or will the Visionary, the Revolutionary, Seth FREAKIN’ Rollins win back the title he never truly lost?

Just to rub it in, Rollin’s entrances starts with a “Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta,” then moves into “BURN IT DOWN!” As for his gear, Rollins has the Shield mask, but also white versions of the tactical gear, and wild new coat.  The fans sing “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” but then the “O T C! O T C!” chants come through. Roman’s entrance sticks to the choir and orchestra as he takes his time walking out on stage. The fans raise their ones while Roman raises the belt for the pyro. Roman continues to the ring, raises the belt, and he gets his second round of pyro. The introductions are made, the ref raises the belt, and we see who the world truly ACKNOWLEDGES!

The bell rings and the fans fire up already. Rollins taunts Roman with the white tactical gear, but Roman doesn’t bite. The fans rally as the two stare down. Rollins talks a little trash as he and Roman step up. Rollins says he owns Roman in this ring. Roman says that stops tonight. The fans rally as the two circle, feel things out, then tie up. Roman powers Rollins back to a corner, but the ref counts. Roman pushes Rollins as he backs off, but Rollins laughs it off. The two reset, circle, and tie up again. Roman powers Rollins to a corner but Rollins slips through to slap Roman around. Rollins pie faces, Roman scowls, and the fans rally up again.

Roman shakes his head and the two reset. They circle, tie up, and Rollins slips around to waistlock, then headlock. Roman endures the grind, powers up and out, then RUNS Rollins over! The fans cheer and raise their fingers to the sky with Roman. Roman runs, Rollins drops down, hurdles over, but Roman headlocks! Rollins switches that, but Roman powers up and out. Roman drops, then Roman hurdles! Rollins slips through to SLINGBLADE! The fans fire up while Roman gets up in a huff. Rollins revels in the singing, “WHOA~ OH~! OHH~!” Rollins says they all know he’s the best! Roman runs up but into a CHOP, JAB, and repeat!

Rollins fires off in the corner, but Roman turns things around! Rollins avoids the lariat to CHOP! And CHOP! Rollins climbs up, rains down fists, and the fans count along, all the way to nine before Roman shoves Rollins down! LARIAT! LARIAT! Roman whips, Rollins reverses, and he avoids the leaping lariat to mule kick the knee! Then basement SUPERKICK! The fans fire up as Roman is down! Rollins runs at the corner, forearm SMASHES, then keeps moving. Roman dodges this time and he LEAPING LARIATS! The fans fire up as Rollins goes to a corner, and Roman fires LARIAT after LARIAT! The fans count along to TEN!

The fans cheer as Roman gets moving again, and he BOOTS Rollins down! The fans fire up as Roman goes to a corner. Roman locks ‘n’ loads, takes aim, and he SUPER- NO, Rollins catches that, wrenches and ROCKS Roman, then he LARIATS Roman up and out! Rollins then builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit and Roman hits barriers! Rollins isn’t done, he hurries back inside and builds speed again! Rollins DIVES, another direct hit into barriers! Rollins isn’t done, but he watches as Roman goes around the way. Rollins DIVES, and Roman is sent into the Spanish announce desk! The fans fire up again as Rollins then looks to said desk.

Rollins clears the Spanish desk, but he hurries to refresh the ring count. Rollins builds speed again, for a DIVE into an UPPERCUT! Rollins flops in the ropes and Roman hits a DRIVE-BY DROPKICK! Rollins stumbles away to the American announce desk and Roman storms over. Roman LARIATS Rollins over barriers! Rollins flounders in front of the fans but Roman pursues! The fans fire up as Roman throws hands! Roman SMCKS Rollins, but Rollins kicks low! They go deeper into the crowd, Rollins throws more hands and the fans are all fired up! Roman ROCKS Rollins, Rollins ROCKS Roman, repeat! Rollins then brings Roman around, but Roman blocks the railing bump!

Roman SMACKS Rollins off railing, section A8 is all fired up, and now they go around the way. Rollins ELBOWS Roman, then grabs a stanchion! Rollins JAMS Roman up, then follows him along the way. Rollins reels Roman in, but Roman fights the suplex! Roman suplexes Rollins onto the yellow metal ramp! The fans fire up as Rollins writhes, and he manages to stand. Roman lets out the battle cry! Roman runs up on Rollins, but Rollins KNEES Roman first! Rollins TOSSES Roman back to ringside, then  uses the barrier to get up and FLYING KNEE! Rollins goes back into the ring, not that there was a ring count to worry about.

Rollins goes back out, and he sees Roman leaning against barriers. Rollins mocks the battle cry, then runs up, and he SPEARS into a facelock! Roman gets Rollins up, and carries him over, POWERBOMB through the Spanish announce desk!! The fans are thunderous, and Roman falls back against the apron as he catches his breath. Roman refreshes the count again, and “This is Awesome!” as Roman says this is like high school football! Roman then clears the American desk, drags Rollins from the wreckage of the other desk, and he reels Rollins back in. Another lift, and- NO, Rollins fights free, and he has Roman up! POWERBOMB through the American announce desk!!

The fans are thunderous again as now Roman is down in the wreckage! The fans sing “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” while the ref checks both men. They’re both somehow able to continue, so the count begins. Both men are still down at 5 of 10, but stir at 6. Rollins rises at 7, but crawls at 8. Rollins rolls in at 9, Roman lunges in at 9.5! But Rollins has the arms! PEDIGREE!! Cover, TWO!!! Roman survives and the fans are thunderous again! “This is Awesome!” as Rollins sits up again, then manages to stand. Rollins lines up a shot, runs back in, SUPERMAN PUNCH from Roman!! Cover, TWO!! Rollins survives and Roman is beside himself!

The fans rally up again as both men stir. Roman snarls as he rises up, and he talks to himself that he won’t let Rollins get him again. The fans fire up as Roman goes to the corner. Roman fires up with them, and “OOOAH~!” But Rollins hurdles the spear! Roman hits buckles, then Rollins CURB STOMPS!! Cover, TWO!!! Roman survives and Rollins is frustrated. Rollins scowls as he crawls his way over to Roman and reels him in. Rollins fireman’s carries, then puts Roman on the corner. Rollins ROCKS Roman, then climbs up. Rollins then goes to the very top, brings Roman up to join him, but Roman fires body shots!

The fans rally as Rollins steps down, and Roman HEADBUTTS him off the corner! But Rollins is right back up! And SUPER DUPER PLEX! Then the roll through! But Roman has the GUILLOTINE FACELOCK!! Rollins flails and reaches out, but Roman cranks hard on the hold! Rollins is fading, but he gets a second wind! But Roman jumps on to add the body scissors! Rollins is on the mat as the fans duel as hard as they can! Rollins refuses to give in! A third wind and Rollins fights up to his feet! The fans are thunderous as Rollins lifts Roman, and powers his way through to the suplex! FALCON- NO, Roman slips free! SPEAR!! Cover, TWO!!!

Roman is shocked and the fans are electric as Rollins survives! Roman argues the count, talks to himself that HE is the one! He is the champ! He’s said before, Rollins is number two, always will be! Roman SMACKS Rollins, talks more trash, but Rollins manages to sit up. Rollins eggs Roman on, so Roman throws down fists! Roman stops, raises his finger, and the fans do the same. Roman pie faces Rollins, builds speed, but ROLLINS SPEARS?!? The fans are thunderous as Rollins covers, TWO!!! Roman survives Rollins’ take on his own move, and Rollins is growing further frustrated. Rollins says he’s always beat Roman 1v1, and that’s not changing!

Rollins says this is his turn to take from Roman. Rollins reels Roman in, lifts, and BUCKLE BOMB! Rollins keeps moving, but Roman dodges the stomp! Roll up, roll through, and lift! Roman hits a BUCKLE BOMB! Roman runs, to steal the CURB STOMP!!! Cover, TWO!!!! The fans are thunderous again as Rollins survives Roman’s take on his move! “This is Awesome!” as Rollins and Roman manage to sit up. Roman shakes his head, Rollins says they’re gonna see who’s number one and number two. The trash talk continues, and Roman says he doesn’t need Bloodline to beat Rollins! The two stand up, the fans fire up, and Roman ROCKS Rollins!

Rollins ROCKS Roman! Roman ROCKS Rollins! And repeat! The fans fire up as the shots keep going, then Rollins gets the edge. But Roman UPPERCUTS! Rollins bumps into the ref! The ref goes down, Roman UPPERCUTS, then UPPERCUTS again! Rollins yoyos, LARIAT! Shoutout to The Maniac, and then Rollins underhooks! But Roman wrenches free, to PARADIGM SHIFT!! And then Roman goes to the corner! Minneapolis is erupting as Roman lets out the “OOOAH~!” SPEAR into the REF!! And then CURB STOMP!!! But now EVERYONE is down, and the fans are loving it! Rollins sees the ref is out of the ring and sighs in exasperation.

But then Rollins gets an idea. Rollins goes outside, steps over the ref, and he goes to the title pedestal. The fans rally as Rollins instead grabs a chair! The symbol of original sin from 12 years ago, and Rollins goes into the ring. Roman rises up slowly, but he UPPERCUTS Rollins first! Roman knew what Rollins was scheming, and now Roman looks to the chair. Roman picks it up, aims at Rollins, but then hesitates. Roman decides he doesn’t need it! Rollins is more surprised by that than anything! Roman says they settle this as they always should have. The fans rally up again, and the two step up to the center of the ring. They fire up, and start firing haymakers!

The fans fire up as these two punch and punch and punch, tire out for a moment, then start up again! Rollins fires shots from all sides, adds a flurry of forearms, but Roman ROCKS Rollins in return! Rollins ROCKS Roman! Roman rebounds and ROCKS Rollins! Rollins ROCKS Roman! Rollins eggs Roman on, so Roman ROCKS him again! Rollins SLAPS Roman, SLAPS him again, and again! Roman HEADBUTTS Rollins, then CLUBS away on Rollins’ back! Rollins mule kicks! And fires Kawada Kicks! ROLLING- UPPERCUT from Roman! Rollins SUPERKICKS! Roman SUPERMAN PUNCHEDS! Rollins just roars?!?

Rollins swings, misses, but catches the Spear into a PEDIGREE!!! Roman is down, Rollins runs up, CURB- NO, Roman manages to dodge! But that’s about all as Rollins reloads, CURB STOMP!!! Rollins goes up the corner, and goes to the very top! SUPER CURB STOMP MISSES! SPEAR!!! Roman has gas left in the tank as he builds up speed, and SPEARS!!! Roman snarls, he goes back to a corner, and the fans are thunderous! One more “OOOAH~!” SPEAR!!!! Cover, the ref is back, and ROMAN WINS!!!

Winner: Roman Reigns, by pinfall (still WWE World Heavyweight Champion)

If this is truly the final chapter of Tribal Chief and Visionary, then it was the perfect finale to their odyssey! And in the end, Roman Reigns finally gets his win over Seth Rollins! The OTC, the Only Tribal Chief, The One True Champion. He and Rollins sit in opposite corners, staring down from afar, both of them acknowledging what this victory means. A weight has been lifted off Roman’s shoulders, but perhaps the same can be said for Rollins in his own way. Roman stands back up, he goes to the center of the ring, and he offers the Shield fist bump! The fans cheer, and Rollins picks up the Shield mask he brought.

Rollins goes to center, looks at the mask, and looks at the fist. Rollins sets the mask down, and he fist bumps Roman one last time. The fans cheer as The Shield Saga has finally closed. Roman and Rollins can finally move on, but what is next for each of them?

My Thoughts:

An awesome night two for SummerSlam, and I think it managed to outdo the first night. For one, Aldis pulling out multiple plot twists was fun. A little sad to see Aldis go right back to being a GM without question, but then him being the GM that brought Kevin Owens back is great. Kevin indeed looked amazing, like he hadn’t missed a beat since his neck injury, and honestly, the moment he was the fourth man in this surprise Fatal 4 Way, we all should’ve known Kevin would win out. A shame mostly for Finn, but at the same time, it would’ve been another match of Finn VS Punk and we’ve gotten plenty of that this year. Kevin VS Punk is gonna be some fun, especially with Sami perhaps pestering his way into the story because he still wants “justice.”

Very good match from Trick VS Corbin, though there was that spot with the kendo stick where Corbin had to wait on Yachty to get into position, so that was a little clunky. Corbin winning out was only a little surprising, because why put him in a title story if he wasn’t winning? Trick can surely call for a rematch at “Sunday Night’s Main Event,” maybe Melo gets back in the mix, among others, and we can have a great set of matches going into the Fall season. That was a great ladder match, and a great moment for Chelsea. Interim or not, Chelsea still gets time with the top title, she’ll be defending it, and at some point, we’ll get an Undisputed WWE Women’s Championship match when Rhea returns.

A pretty fun “Human Moneys on a Pole” match, and Danhausen busted out all the tricks, including an assist from Joe Hendry. As I said yesterday, the Judgment Day story would’ve actually benefitted from Liv losing and no longer caring about this money, but maybe they flip it: Liv can be disappointed in Dom, Roxie can step in as the one who consoles Dom, and we can get back to a Liv VS Roxie build as we could’ve had this whole time. Penta VS Gable was an awesome match, really shooting for a show stealer, but Roman VS Rollins was still incredible. Gable winning was naturally happening, this is such a great moment for him, and can’t wait to see what’s next.

And speaking of Roman VS Rollins, that was truly just an amazing finale to this generational feud. This might be akin to this generation’s The Rock VS Stone Cold final match. Such great references to everything, and even to Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley. It made a lot of sense to see Roman finally beating Rollins while keeping the title, and him dropping the chair as the true symbol of him getting past that Shield breakup was such a great moment in itself. Now, if Kevin is facing Punk, I would think Oba Femi uses his King of the Ring title opportunity for Roman. That’s something fresh, and everyone will eat that up.
