Panthers Sign Kyle Trask After Haynes King Injury

Carolina has signed quarterback Kyle Trask after rookie Haynes King suffered a hamstring injury during the Hall of Fame Game.

King was injured while scoring the game-winning touchdown and is expected to miss at least a week. Carolina is also preparing to give Bryce Young and other starters playing time in the Panthers’ August 15 preseason game against Buffalo.

Trask gives Carolina another experienced arm without forcing the Panthers to rush King back for preseason snaps.
