Andrew’s JCW Lunacy Carnival of Chaos Results: Ep# 100
No one expected the clowns to get to episode 100, but here we are. Welcome to the Carnival, let’s see what JCW brings us!
Even though Vince Russo announced he left JCW on Wednesday, he extrapolated on his podcast with Jonathan Coachman. Regardless of where his comments went in the podcast, the meat and potatoes was that he felt like it hasn’t been “his show” for a few months. So if you’ve been enjoying the shows through the summer, I doubt much will change.
So honestly, that information helped me realize that the Russo style and Juggalo style were married together and similar enough to not really identify which was which. So let’s enjoy the celebration of episode 100! Can the Headbangers walk away with tag titles? Will Big Al snatch the title from Dani Mo? And can we please not lose Kerry Morton?

We open with a video package from Vince Russo announcing he’s selling his 50% ownership back to Violent J.
Then we see Vincenzo trying to stop Sally Boy from fighting Big Vito, but Sally reinforces why he’s pissed, Vendetta, because Vito had his dad wacked. Promo half in Italian and half in English.
JCW Tag Team Titles: Choppa City (c) vs The Headbangers
Oh they did just give the belts back to Choppa City after J reversed the loss. Would’ve been better to vacate them in my opinion.
Mosh and Thrasher attack before the bell but Choppas start to fight back. Choppas start clubberin on Mosh, chop flurry, but Thrasher takes advantage of the ref trying to get the match started correctly and Thrasher events things up. Mosh and Thrasher with a tandem attack on Atiba and then choke him along the middle rope, then Bronco Buster him in the ropes to keep Atiba struggling. Double Flapjack from the Headbangers after Thrasher gets tagged in. Atiba is getting worked over and Thrasher is clawing at his face. They drape Atiba by the neck across the top and do the Leap Fog seated Senton into Atiba.
Headbangers talk smack to the crowd, Atiba tries to fight back but is failing. Quick tags from the Headbangers as they keep stomping the hell out of Atiba. Thrasher knocks Bruce off the apron and then tags Mosh back in. This has been a straight up beat down on Atiba, they want the Stage Dive, but Bruce grabs Thrasher and then Atiba rolls up Mosh, Choppa wins!
This…is Choppa City’s first real clean win. It was a complete ass beating, Bruce never even officially got in the match, so it was a little odd, but Choppas are fun.
There’s a solid backstage promo with Kerry Morton, but it does kind of make you think that Kerry is gonna lose. He’s a little too confident and it feels like the typical babyface set up of lying just for hope.
Donovan Dijak w/Jasmin St Claire vs Mr. Happy
Mr. Happy comes out pushing the Happy Bear in a stroller. There is a “You Suck Dick” chant, and I’m not sure if it’s targeted as Jasmin or Dijak. Happy does cover the ears of the Happy Bear, so it’s good character work.
Dijak is looking for an opening, Happy does the Happy dance, Dijak throws strikes and Happy no sells and Dijak is confused. So Dijak asks for a hug, then kicks Happy, hits the ropes and Happy runs over Dijak. Happy gonna DIVE??? Jasmin trips him, thank god. Dijak starts to beat on Happy, but there’s not a lot of room ringside, so you don’t want a 6’4″ 600 pound guy flying. Dijak continues to Ground and Pound, drops an elbow and starts slapping around Happy. Dijak then grabs the stroller, flips off the Teddy Bear and Superkicks it. Happy is…not Happy.
Happy Elbow, Lariat, Corner Splash back to back, Happy Samoan Drop for two! Dijak tries to goozle Happy but Happy fights back, Headbutts, Discus Boot from Dijak! Only a near fall, Jasmin gets in the ring to help Dijak pull happy closer to the corner, he doesn’t move, Happy claps thinking it was a game, so Dijak stomps him and goes for the Moonsault and crashes and burns! Dijak landed on his shoulder not quite getting all the way over, Jasmin is on the apron trying to claim there’s an issue. Dijak hits Happy with the stroller and the referee sees it so Happy wins via DQ.
Dijak spits on the Happy Bear, humps it and then smashes it into Happy’s face and kicks him. The crowd really supports Happy. It’s a silly gimmick, but it’s easy to enjoy.
Bronson is getting interviewed, and Caleb interrupts and basically begs Bronson for 5 minutes. He says stall, duck, dodge, get in your car and drive to the other side of the city. But Caleb wants to be rid of Kerry. Now…this is interesting. Because Bronson isn’t the type to just take orders. I wonder if Caleb just screwed himself?
JCW American Championship 5 Minute Challenge: Father Bronson (c) vs Kerry Morton
Kerry can become the first ever JCW Grand Slam champion, or fired. This is Feast or Fired without needing TNA.
Kerry goes for a quick few Roll-Ups and pinfalls, but then Bronson starts running around the ring. Kerry is chasing because he has the time limit. Bronson catches Kerry, chest first into the corner buckles, Kerry with the Dropkick, but only two. Bronson tries to beg off and then drags Kerry face first into the buckles. Bronson now starts enjoying working over Kerry, Suplex, Muay Thai Knees, Hard Irish Whip and a near fall with 3 minutes left. Kerry ducks a strike and goes into the Knife Edge Chops, tries the Corner Splash but misses! Bronson lifts him, Elbows get him out, quick offense, Kerry tries a Sunset Flip but they’re in the ropes so the referee refuses to count. Chop, Chop, Discus…Miss! Bronson catches Kerry on the miss and Samoan Drops him with 90 seconds left.
Bronson perches and enjoys the scenerey, Kerry Kips Up, knocks Bronson off the corner, Plancha! Kerry posts Bronson, Kerry can’t get Bronson back in yet, 20 seconds, Kerry throws him in finally, Kiss it Goodbye! Photo finish! The referee and Kid Cadet say that Kerry won the match in time!
MR JCW KERRY MORTON! The Grand Slam Rizz God!
Caleb Konley and a bunch of security walks out with Mac Davis and a few referees. Dusty Finish! It was past 5 minutes apparently. Bronson is given the title back, the Southern Six music starts playing, and Kerry removes his JCW boots and pads, leaving them in the ring.
The crowd was upset, then appreciative of Kerry. He really did babyface himself to the crowd. This sucks since I really thought Kerry was perfect for JCW, he’s a dweeb in NWA, but he was special in JCW.
Special Guest Referee Mad Man Pondo: Team JWO (Willie Mack, 2 Tuff Tony & Painful Paul) w/Violent J vs Team GCW (Nick Gage, Otis Coger & Slade) w/Brett Lauderdale
Tony and Nick start, as Tony tees off on Nick, shoves him into a corner and 10 Count Punches, sends him into the ropes and Back Elbow. But Slade and Coger attack Tony, but Tony drops both guys and starts hyping up the crowd. Coger gets tagged in after things calm down a little, Coger wants Willie so Tony tags out. Otis tells Willie to hit the ropes and they start the a tough guy Clothesline shake off war. Both hit the ropes and criss cross before Double Down! Willie bounces up faster than Otis and then Paul wants in. Slade then tags in and Paul and Slade go back and forth, Slade ducks the Lariat but eats the Big Boot. Willie tags in and then Slade just shoots the half and then goes after Willie’s legs. Slade is frenetic, to put it nicely.
Willie is stuck in the GCW corner getting stomped, clawed and cheap shotted. Willie goes head first from post to post from Coger and then he hits a Low Crossbody on a seated Willie Mack. Nick tags in and its a lot of quick tags, big shots and rough, not very pretty offense. Slade hits a Choking STO or something for two. Nick is in, tries to fight back but Gage wins the flurry and then isolates the chocolate Juggalo again. Slade comes in, sends Willie off, but a Double Lariat gives will an opening. Simultaneous tag to Tony and Otis. Haymakers, Lariats and then Nick comes in and drops Tony with a DDT. Paul breaks up the pinfall, knocks down Gage and starts working over Slade and Coger.
Paul sends Slade in, but Slade moves and Paul goes sternum first into the corner, the only disadvantage with being 7 foot tall. Gage tries to go for Violent J, but Willie hits a Plancha to save J. Slade wants to fly but Paul slides in, muscles up Slade into a chokeslam, drops him but Brett distracts Pondo to stop the pin. Violent J takes out Lauderdale, Coger hits Paul with a chair, Tony hits a Brainbuster on the chair and then Meteorite to the skull of Coger, Tony wins!
Not a bad match, definitely devolved into insanity at some point, but it was fun and pretty solid wrestling.
Luciano Confrontation, Sally calls out Vito to tell him that he’s a liar and made of Bullshit because he’s figured out that Vito killed his father. Vito says that Sally Boy and his father have something in common, neither of them have the guts to pull the trigger. Vito tells Sally to take the fucking shot. Vito gives Sally the open shot, Sally wants him to look at him, Vito doesn’t move and Sal is conflicted. But after a double clutch, Sal hits Vito and Vincenzo is shocked, Sal shoves Vincenzo, the crowd chants “One More Time” and Sally starts to beat on Vito with the trash can. To Vito’s credit, he’s just taking it, Vincenzo is trying to break it up, but gets shoved away a few times. Neither of the Lucianos are hitting Sally, he’s getting his pound of flesh.
Country Time Royal Riot: Battle Royal Championship
Colby Corino and Mecha Wolf are the first two entrants. Colby grabs a headlock as soon as Mecha Wolf slides in, and this is 20 man Battle Riot/Royal Rumble style. Mecha Wolf tries to hit the ropes but Colby keeps trying to slow him down, Mecha almost catches Colby with the Mist, but Colby dodges and Ninja Mack is number 3. Mecha and Colby both attack Mack, Mack uses Mecha to knock out Colby and we get a lot of Lucha/Junior quickness with Mecha and Mack. But number 4 comes in and its, Simon Gotch! Ninja Mack gets caught on the Back Handspring, Gotch tosses him, works over Mecha and Colby in the corners, but Colby grabs the leg and tries to tie up Gotch. Rae Larson is number 5 in a cowgirl gimmick since “Country Time” and proves the match is intergender. Rae slams Simon Gotch but gets eliminated quickly. Shannon Moore is next up! The book of DILIGAF is still working and looking good. Shannon crotches Gotch and then kicks him out.
Backseat Boyz come in together…I wonder if Shannon and Backseats will do a Boy Band spot as the Three Count homage. Ninja Mack gets sick of the Backseats dancing on the way in so he pulls a Mil Mascaras and Sasuke Special’s to the outside to take himself out but get a pop for killing the Backseats. Facade is in again, Ninjas have a moment of respect and the Neon Ninja starts swinging at Colby and Mecha. Sophia Rose is next up, she’s connecting on a few spots, Backseats T-Gimmick Sophia and then pose. Hollyhood Haley J is next up, hands off Stormy to a fan and then starts throwing Suerkicks. She poses on the rope but doesn’t get knocked off. Backseats are really enjoying beating up on the women. Amazing Maria is next, Haley’s mother. Maria starts beating on the Backseats, Colby tries to break up the fun, stereo Bitch Slaps and Colby is out.
Rob Conway is the next one in. Maria and Haley try a Shoulder Tackle but they bounce of Rob. Mecha Wolf eliminates Shannon Moore before we can get the Boy Band spot, nooo. Sonny Kiss is next up. Mecha and Sonny try to eliminate the Backseats but Sonny tricks Mecha and Eliminates him. J-Rod is…15th? Mmm…J-Rod looks like a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She squares off with Rob Conway and Conway likes what she’s throwing. Haley goes for a Lariat but J-Rod levels Haley and Maria, Conway seems to have respect for J-Rod letting her handle the female competitors without interfering. Mickie Knuckles is in! Sonny Kiss Low Bridges and Mickie throws J-Rod out. Haley gets eliminated next, then Maria eliminates Sophia…Facade may be out? Sonny eliminates Conway as Tarzan Duran is next up. Mickie is in the corner smothering JP Grayson…between her thighs.
Broke Ass Breyer Wellington has a pretty good number. Breyer gets lit up by Tarzan, as the Backseats eliminate Sonny. Tarzan does the rope walk like a dumbass and gets eliminated by Breyer. Bigfoot Hunter Mike is next as Mickie Knuckles has both Backseats by the balls, and she’s twisting and skipping. Bigfoot Hunter throws some big feet, but gets Low Blowed by Breyer, Mickie eliminates the Backseats, Breyer and Mickie are the last two right now. Mickie punches Breyer in the dick, Breyer pokes the eyes, and Breyer is alone…but the winning announcement isn’t made yet. Real American starts to play, and Thunderkiss Bulk Rogan is 20! He’s feeding on the energy of the Bulkamaniacs to beat Broke Ass Breyer. Big Boot, Leg Drop, pinfall but that’s not how this works! Breyer gets eliminated and Bulk Rogan wins! Bulk wins the Battle Royal title!
JCW Women’s World Championship: Dani Mo (c) w/The Outbreak vs Alice Crowley
They shake hands, and Dani grabs the quick Headlock, into a Takedown, Al Headscissors out, Dani does the Austin Aries escape and rolls Al back up as they are feeling each other out. Rope Runs, Al finally takes Dani down, a few Arm Drags, Knife Edge Chops and kicks Dani telegraphing the Back Drop, Kicks Dani in the head, Dani sells to the corner, eats a Boot, misses the corner attack but Dani misses the Roundhouse and Al Rolls her up for two, Dani with a Mexican Arm Drag into a Forearm Smash in the corner, Swing Swing Swing, Chop Chop Chop in the corner, Snapmare and a Baseball Slide causes Al to powder to the apron and then Al hangs Dani in the ropes.
Al works Dani over in the corner, Dani tries the Power Slap a few kicks, Al flips off Dani and Dani with the Roundhouse into Michinoku Driver for a two count! Dani with the Handstand Vader Bomb but takes way too long, Knees Up, Back Fist, Discus Forearm, Pump Kick and Saito Suplex from Al for two. HoKane is on the apron, hits Alice with a Hatchet handle! The referee throws out the match, Dani attacks her, but where was The Outbreak? Barnabas rushes the ring and attacks HoKane while she’s beating on Dani.
HoKane grabs the hatchet again, Barnabas protects Dani, Jacksyn and Abel finally run off HoKane. Barnabas extends his hand to Dani…Jacksyn and Abel help Dani up, and Dani still isn’t sure. The crowd is torn about if they want Dani to trust Barnabas or not.
Linear JCW World Championship: Josh Bishop (c) w/Joel Gertner vs CoKane vs Krule
Bishop and Krule start throwing Chops as CoKane is enjoying the show. He takes a boost from a baggie and throws Uppercuts at both, CoKane ducks and Krule with a Heart Punch to Bishop, some back and forth, CoKane with some rope work, Headscissors, Krule tosses CoKane to the outside into Bishop’s arms, Bishop throws CoKane into the ring, but Krule Dives on Bishop. Krule and Bishop start fighting into the crowd and CoKane decides to join them by flying! CoKane barrels through the two monsters and a fan who didn’t get out of the way. Bishop gets rolled back in, but Krule grabs CoKane and then Apron Bomb! Bishop catches Krule on the way in and Outside In Suplex from Bishop. Bishop grabs CoKane by the throat, throws him, runs both men over in the corner, Spicolli Driver’s CoKane into Krule for a two. Bishop tries to continue but Krule fires and levels both men before throwing Bishop into CoKane. Bishop gets Choke Slammed, then Choke Slams CoKane into Bishop!
Gertner distracts Krule, but HoKane is back out, points the hatchet at Krule and Krule walks off with HoKane. They’re gonna have some bizarre masked BDSM sexy time. Back in the ring, CoKane is trying and succeeds in the Avalanche Powerbomb on Bishop! CoKane goes up, Swanton misses! Bishop headbutts CoKane, Exit 187, and Bishop retains!
Bishop winning is great, since now that Kerry Morton is gone, Bishop is the best one in the company. But what’s the deal with HoKane and Krule?
Before the match, Shane Mercer is in the back, Steven Flowe says that Shane ripped him off when he bought back his golden guitar. Shane calls him homeless and shoves him. So Flowe is going to interfere in the match, so let’s see if it costs Shane or if it helps Shane because of shenanigans.
JCW Lunacy World Title: Caleb Konley (c) vs Shane Mercer
Caleb hides in the ropes early to try and avoid Shane’s power. But then we get into chain wrestling with Arm Wringers, Headlocks, and counters, before Caleb actually gets the best of the Headlock counters. Shane shoves him off and then Shoulder Tackle, catches the Leap Frog but Caleb slips it, Kick, Caleb wants a Brainbuster but Shane blocks it, Twists the Wrist, Single Arm Lift, Full Arm Drag and Twist into a Top Wrist Lock that Shane won’t let go. Caleb goes into the corner to force Mercer to release the lock, Caleb dives and gets caught, slips the catch, hits the ropes, Crossbody but Shane catches him against and a swinging Scoop Slam forces Caleb to powder. Shane works over Caleb around ringside, but finally slams Shane’s face into the apron, heads up, but Shane cuts him off, Superplex…no! Caleb counters so they double perch and fight, Mercer gets hung in the corner Tree of Woe style and Caleb hits the Stomp for a two count.
Shane starts fighting back but Caleb sweeps the leg for a near fall. Caleb is very in charge right now, but Shane is starting to invite more offense and fire up. Caleb wants the ropes but gets caught in a Sleeper Hold Rag Doll, before Caleb uses the momentum to send Shane into the post. Caleb tries to keep the offense going but Shane counters the Pieldriver with a T-Bone Suplex! Shane explodes through Caleb three times and Caleb is rocked. X-Plex tosses Caleb like pizza dough, for another near fall. Shane is setting up for Moonsault & Battery, Caleb is fighting off but Shane keeps trying for it, or…not…new position. Shane hits a Cartwheel Moonsault on Caleb who is laid across the top ropes.
Ring Rat distracts the ref, Flowe tries to hit Shane with the guitar, but Shane blocks it and tosses Flowe. Military Press but Caleb turns it into a Destroyer! Backfist, Poison Rana, and Caleb hits the Turnaround Moonsault for two! Shane went from nearly tossing Caleb into Flowe and Ring Rat to being half a second away from losing. Caleb slaps Shane, so they go into Fighting Spirit, sends Shane in, but goozle, single arm Press and drops Caleb in the ring. Mercer with some Knife Edge Chops, looks for a head of steam but Caleb pulls the referee in the way and Mercer kills the ref! Low Blow Caleb after the ref bump, but now Jeeves is out.
Caleb drops Jeeves, EC3 hits the ring, Stunner on Caleb! Shane tries to figure out what’s going on, but accepts the assist. Moonsault & Battery! But the referee is still dead! Mercer grabs the ref, finally resurrects him but Caleb kicks out. Mercer goes for another Moonsault & Battery but Caleb fights it off, slips over and puts Shane into the Burning Hammer position! Burning Hammer and Caleb retains!
Overall Score: 6.25/10
This was odd if I’m being honest. It’s PPV length since it’s a 3 hour show, but some of the story beats didn’t make sense. Outbreak was supposed to be guarding against HoKane interfering, so why they weren’t there is a big question. Kerry Morton failing his final 5 Minutes sucks, but who knows what’s going on with contracts or availability. Choppa City finally actually winning a match on their own merits is nice though.
I think this show was odd because it focused more on the wrestling, which is not JCW’s strong suit. They have characters, gimmicks and stories that keep you tuning in. Joel Gertner’s interview was good, the Battle Riot was okay, but definitely fell a little flat when Mickie Knuckles would’ve been the feel good moment and instead you went for comedy with a parody Hulk Hogan. That just feels really bush league and stupid. GCW’s involvement should be over now, hopefully, because they suck. Plus Sally Boy getting in free shots on Vito, when we’ve seen Vito beat the piss out of Sally before…doesn’t make sense. He can’t “prove he cares” by not fighting back, after inciting everything for the past 4 months.
But all in all, this wasn’t bad. It still had some crazy moments, still showed off most of the wrestlers we’ve grown to enjoy like Facade, J-Rod, Mecha Wolf, Choppas, Alice, Dani, Kerry and Bronson. However, now we begin a new era, 100% Violent J, post-Russo Lunacy. Does EC3 unseat Caleb Konley? Can Kerry find a way back in? Is Barnabas remorseful or just a piece of shit? Only way to find out, is keep watching Lunacy!
