Andrew’s TNA Impact Results & Ratings: 9.3.2026

They followed up a pretty good Lockdown event with a really good Live edition of iMPACT! So we get to see where the story between Jason Hotch and Order 4 head since Ali is legit banged up. The match between Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch will probably have some ramifications for the Ali feud and not just the International Championship contendership. We’re also gonna get an X-Division Qualifying match between new signee Joe Alonzo and KC Navarro looking to finally get some momentum.

We’ve also got Hot Bunnies (yes I’m going to call Allie and Kiera that even if they get a real tag name) in action, Zoey Serrano and Indi Hartwell will start their angle tonight as well. There’s a few things actually moving along, so let’s see what happens!

Matt Hardy walks out to cut an opening promo after Jeff was ambulanced away last week. There’s been a string of beating, so I’m assuming Matt wants to get to the bottom of it. He starts off a little slowly, pontificating on their career before getting to the point. Matt says that Jeff was so delirious in the hospital, that he didn’t even know what happened. He blames the Nemeths for the attack because it’s the most logical opponent.

Not appreciating the accusations, the Big and Little Brothers comes out. Nic makes fun of the “I’m not here to make excuses, but then proceeds to make excuses” promo. Nic tells Matt that it wasn’t them because they love proving that they’re the best ones. Matt tells Nic he made a mistake, Nic says that’s not possible, he double checks his homework. Matt cuts him off with “You came out here” and sneaks Nic Nemeth. Matt starts brawling with both Nemeths, security tries to break them up, but we’ve got the pull apart with a few extra shots here and there. Like I said last week, it better not be Matt Hardy behind the attack, there aren’t enough tag teams in the company to start a feud between the GOATs.

AJ Francis w/Expressions vs Brent Oakley

Brent hits two Corner Splashes on the bell and tries to start fast but AJ isn’t feeling them much until a quick grab of AJ’s feet sits him on the middle rope, Sliding Middle Rope German. Brent messes with Expressions, grabs the hat and goes for a Springboard, but Expressions trips him up causing him to come off ugly and into the TFL from AJ. Match over.

Francis grabs the microphone and says he’s the best AJ in TNA history, so he should whip Avery’s ass like his daddy never did. Santino’s music hits, and he says he doesn’t normally agree with AJ Franchini or Espresso, but now he does. A-very Styles is summoned Santino. Santino asks if Avery is down for it, for next week. Avery says “Hell yeah” – but Frankie runs interference. Kaz nixes Avery’s decision and they leave. Frankie…is actually correct, getting fed to AJ would be a death sentence.

Zoey Serrano & Xia Brookside vs Indi Hartwell & Harley Hudson

It’s been nearly 6 years since Zoey was in Impact Wrestling/TNA, but she was known as Lacey Ryan then.

Indi and Xia start, but Xia tags out instantly and that makes Zoey chuckle, but when she gets in Indi starts fast. Takedown, wrist control Short Arm Lariats, and even though Zoey is getting rocked early, it’s not overly effective. Zoey powders in frustration, the fans start to chance “Zoey Sucks” and she pie faces a “fan”. Indi allows Zoey to get back in, she tags out, Xia tries to go after Indi, but Indi grabs a headlock, quick tags from Harley and Indi, Xia is getting, flipped, kicked and worked over in the corner. Hip Attack from Harley into the lift up Sack of…nope Xia grabs the ropes and blocks it, but Harley trips up Xia. Zoey manages to get involved enough so Xia dodges a Leg Drop, then Zoey attacks Harley on the outside while Xia has the referee distracted. Harley is getting her head bounced off the mat.

Xia shoves Harley into the corner, tags out, Zoey with a Double Chop, and the fans keep heckling Zoey. Zoey Suplexes Harley and hits the Kip Up, before grabbing a Headlock and tagging back into Xia. Xia trips up Harley, slams the left leg into the mat and then keeps Harley grounded. She goes into a Straight Jacket Choke, but Harley starts fighting back up…but a blind tag from Zoey. Zoey goes for a Hart Attack style double team, but Harley moves and Zoey takes Xia’s head off! Zoey just kicks Xia out of the ring, Harley manages to get away and tag into Indi. Indi comes out hot, Lariats, strikes, Spinebuster! But Xia breaks up the pinfall, Harley takes out Xia, Zoey Superkicks Harley and all four are down. Zoey and Indi brawl, Harley and Xia brawl – Zoey gets the best of things, German Suplex into her Running Knee, and Xia takes the blind tag to try and steal the pinfall. Zoey yells at Xia, Indi kicks out then Kicks Zoey off the apron. Harley goes after Zoey, and Indi locks in a Butterfly variant submission and Xia taps out.

Not a bad match, Zoey looked like a legit threat, but Xia being the greedy heel screwed over the cohesion.

Returning from commercial, now Ryan Nemeth is taken out down a flight of steps. Moose, Cedric Alexander, Jeff Hardy and Ryan Nemeth…there’s no real allegiance reasons for these attacks.

X-Division Championship Qualifier: KC Navarro vs Joe Alonzo

Joe walks out with a microphone looking like a Temu Ethan Page. He heels it up, he speaks in the third person…ugh. This is at least a good way to get the crowd behind KC Navarro and hate this Joe dude instantly.

Joe does one Heel Trip on KC and showboats screaming his name. Then KC hits him with speed kills, changing direction, spinning him, rolling over the back, tripping Joe and patting him on the head. KC goes for the Blessing early, but Joe gets away from it, KC hits an Enzuigiri, then they work to the corner and KC tries the Up and Over but Joe grabs KC’s feet and throws KC to the floor. At the count of 4, Joe sees KC is close so he goes out to hit a Back Drop on the Apron, then throw him back in for a two count. Joe is getting annoyed by the crown, so KC starts firing back, Chop combo, but Joe reverses the Whip, Shotgun Kick into a Twisting Backdrop Driver for a two count. The “Sloppy Joe” fan chants continue, and Joe puts KC in a bow and arrow submission. The crowd starts trying to inspire KC to come back.

KC ducks the Lariat, they both rope run and hit Mirrored Crossbodies. KC is up first, Lariat into Dropkick, then a Forearm Smash, finally Up and Over, then KC hits the Satellite DDT for only two! Joe rolls to the outside as KC is trying to set up the Blessing, KC follows, but Joe throats KC across the rope, hits Most Dope, but only for a two count. Alonzo looks to set up a Pedigree or something, but a Enzuigiri, into the 305, Blessing…nope, Joe throws the referee in the way. Alonzo tries the Pedigree again, but KC slips it, then Cradle but Joe kicks out at two and KC hits the Blessing in Disguise for the win!

Open Challenge: Hot Bunnies vs Shazza McKenzie & Vipress

Well now, this should be slightly more than an enhancement match.

Shazza and Allie start, a few Forearms from Allie, into a Thesz Press, Ground and Pound. Tag out, Locomotion corner attacks, Allie his a Sliding Back Elbow with a cute bite to the camera, Kiera hits her sliding kick, drapes Shazza and then hits the Hip Attack into the Step-Up Leg Drop. Vipress finally grabs Shazza to stop her from bouncing off the ropes, Shazza trips up Kiera, then Vipress with a cheapshot. Shazza tags out and Vipress starts rocking Kiera. Vipress tags out, and Shazza lays in kicks, Snapmare, Elbows and now a Triangle Choke but Kiera fights up. Kicks Shazza away and then Thrust Kick rocks Shazza, simultaneous tags. Allie is beating the hell out of Vipress, Knee Lift, Upside in the Corner, and Allie is on fire. Shazza tries to get involved, but Kiera throws her out. Codebreaker from Allie on Vipress into the Face the Music from Kiera, Hot Bunnies win!

A little clunky, but not awful.

Ricky Sosa has a promo in the back before The System interrupts, then Elijah interrupts their interrupting. So I guess this is what they’ll be doing. They really need to put Ricky in a real angle with someone that matter. He’s already over for having no real footprint in the States, ride the damn wave.

BDE w/Rich Swann vs Dutch w/Vincent

Vincent gets on the damn mic as soon as the bell rings. I hate when they talk when there should be a damn match. Vincent says they all know that BDE wants his very first singles victory, and Vincent tells Dutch to lay down, Dutch complies.

BDE drops the Elbow instead, and Dutch fires up. BDE tries to chop him down and then jumps off the corner, but Dutch grabs him and slams him face first into the mat. Dutch then throws BDE into the corners like he’s nothing. Dutch smashes him in the corner, Lariats him, and Dutch is slowly taking his time picking BDE apart. Dutch invites BDE to attack him, a few shots, a bad looking Superkick. BDE tries the Clip Cutter, Dutch catches him, shoves him into the ropes…and Death Walks. Dutch wins with ease.

Vincent attacks Rich Swann, leaves him laying and then they just steal BDE.

#1 Contender for the International Championship: Trey Miguel vs Jason Hotch

They spend the first 60 seconds or so, talking to each other and letting the crowd chant. They shake hands, and then tie up. Trey gets the best of the slow start, Arm Wringer, drives Hotch down, Hotch with the World of Sport escape and then Leg Trip. Hotch then starts his own Arm Wringer and Trey works out of it, more with a Lucha flair. But no strikes yet, all chain wrestling for these first four or five minutes.

Rope Runs, Cradles, Arm Drags into the stereo Dropkick spot, just to end in a pose off. Trey finally connects on a Back Elbow, then they keep going back and forth, Up and Over from Jason, hit drops to a knee and drives the Elbow into Trey’s gut, a few quick spots as he comes out of the rope run and catches Trey with the Enzuirigi. Trey then lands a few of his classic, outside in Casadora Roll, Trip, levels him to the outside. Trey tries a Baseball Slide but Hotch slides back in, when Trey turns to locate him, Hotch hits the Tope con Hilo. Trey and Jason brawl around the outside. Trey breaks the count, then they keep fighting, Hotch has a Cravat in but a few counter spots, Hotch Knees Trey in the face, wants the Stomp but Trey moves. Arm Drag from Hotch, Arm Bar submission into a Hammerlock and Cross face combination. Trey decides to turn it into a pinfall but Hotch kicks out. Shotgun Dropkick from Trey, but another kick out.

Trey locks in the Front Facelock before turning it into the Inverted style with a Wrestler’s Bridge. But Hotch gets back up and a Forearm in the face, rocks Trey. Slingshot Backbreaker from Hotch, but only a two count. Hotch tries to repeat the spot, so Trey flips out, then it’s a lot of dodging. Trey puts a few things together with a Spin Kick, Mushroom Stomp and Lionsault for two. Trey tries the Knees in the Corner, but Hotch moves, takes off Trey’s head, Roll through into the Stomp, Uppercut, Enzuigiri and the the Outside In Rolling Neckbreaker from Hotch for only two! Standing Switches, Trey hits a Back Kick combo, back flips and Suplexes Hotch for only a two!

With a point to the top, Trey looks for the Meteora, but Hotch moves! Yakuza Kick! Hotch ascends, misses the Diving Stomp, but hits the Standing Stomp for two! Trey gets perched and punched in the face, but Trey fights off Hotch, Bell Clap, wants a Sunset Bomb, but then it gets a little clunky, but back to back Poison Rana from both guys into an Airplane Spin Torture Rack Bomb for only two! Chops and Kicks, then Uppercuts, they then double Crossbody, Kip Up, Double Kick to the head and Kip Up again before they both crumple. Things turn into a Hockey Fight, and then Special Agent Zero hits a Double Clothesline to ruin the match.

Overall Score: 6.5/10

You know, this started a little slow, but turned into a pretty good show. Granted, the finish is complete trash that I wish happened earlier. You give the main event 20 minutes, just to give us an 18 minute banger and ruin it because the smallest and weakest “big man” in the business comes in to ruin the match. Ruin it 10 minutes in, not when it was nearly on the level of making IWC outlets talk and praise the ring work. Because this went so long, and they threw so much at each other, you can’t “build” off of this for a subsequent match. You blew your load and ruined the finish. Get off of TikTok if “ruining” is on your algorithm.

But aside from wanting to kick whoever signed off on that, square in the damn nuts, the rest of the show was pretty good. Zoey looked dangerous and we could tell that she’s not there to play nice with Xia and Daria didn’t seem too concerned when Zoey laid out Xia, so Xia is not one of Daria’s chosen. Maggie pushing off a challenge onto Heather is causing tension, which I love, because the Elegance Brand is straight trash now. The serial attacks, I can only hope that’s a new debut, maybe Sam Shaw. But I really don’t want it to be Matt Hardy.

The Righteous straight up kidnapping BDE is funny to me. And I do love me some Hot Bunnies. OH YEAH! And KC Navarro won, so he’ll be in the X-Division qualifier at Bound for Glory! So if we could’ve just gotten a real finish…*sigh* – still a pretty good show, but that ending man…
