Oba Femi returns on Raw, Penta qualifies for Money in the Bank and Roxanne Perez steals a win over Iyo Sky and La Catalina.

Raw gave WWE two new Money in the Bank qualifiers Monday night, but the biggest reaction belonged to somebody who was not originally advertised for the show.

Oba Femi returned just two weeks after The Vision took him out, Penta unexpectedly replaced an abducted Solo Sikoa and punched his ticket to Money in the Bank, while Roxanne Perez stole a victory from Iyo Sky and La Catalina to join the women’s Ladder Match.

Oba Femi Returns and Goes Straight After The Vision

Oba Femi returned during Bron Breakker’s match with Je’Von Evans after Austin Theory’s interference caused a disqualification and The Vision began attacking Evans. Oba hit the ring, cleared out the group and helped launch Evans over the ropes onto them, immediately placing himself back into the fight with the faction that took him off television.

The timing makes the return more effective than keeping Oba away for several additional weeks. WWE already established that The Vision could hurt him, so the comeback did not need a long recovery story before getting directly to retaliation.

It also gives Je’Von an interesting ally without softening either man. Evans still fought Breakker aggressively on his own, while Oba arrived because he has his own issue with The Vision rather than because WWE suddenly turned them into a permanent team.

WWE Raw Results — September 21, 2026

Monday’s Raw advanced both Money in the Bank matches while Lyra Valkyria scored another victory over Bayley and Je’Von Evans technically defeated Bron Breakker by disqualification.

• Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier – Roxanne Perez defeated Iyo Sky and La Catalina
• Je’Von Evans defeated Bron Breakker by disqualification
• Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley
• Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifier – Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee

The two qualifying results were built around opportunism rather than clean domination. Roxanne waited for Iyo’s moonsault to take Catalina out before hitting Pop Rox on Sky, while Penta only entered the men’s match because Solo Sikoa was removed from the building before he could compete.

That approach keeps several people protected while continuing WWE’s obvious youth movement around both Money in the Bank fields.

Penta Replaces Solo Sikoa and Qualifies for Money in the Bank

Solo Sikoa never made it to his qualifying match after the 946 attacked him backstage, threw him into a vehicle and drove away. Adam Pearce refused to turn the scheduled Triple Threat into a singles match and instead introduced Penta as Solo’s replacement against Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

Penta ultimately pinned Dominik after a flip piledriver to qualify, placing him in the Ladder Match only one week after his World Heavyweight Championship loss to Roman Reigns.

That is exactly the follow-up Penta needed. WWE did not treat the Roman match as his one special opportunity before pushing him back toward the middle of the card; instead, the company immediately gave him another route toward the championship picture.

Roxanne Perez Steals the Fourth Women’s MITB Spot

Roxanne Perez defeated Iyo Sky and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina to become the fourth woman in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Iyo hit Catalina with a moonsault, but Roxanne immediately caught Sky with Pop Rox and stole the pin before Catalina could recover.

Roxanne now joins Sol Ruca, Lola Vice and Jacy Jayne, leaving two positions remaining. The field continues leaning heavily toward women WWE is attempting to move upward rather than former champions occupying familiar spots.

Catalina also came away protected before Worlds Collide. She lost the qualifier without being pinned, while Roxanne gained another result she can use when challenging Catalina for the Reina de Reinas Championship.

Stephanie Vaquer Offers Both Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch Title Matches

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer confronted Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch after both women argued that they deserved the next championship opportunity. Vaquer responded by saying she would give Liv her rematch and was willing to defend against Becky as well.

That is a strong way to present a new champion because Vaquer is not asking WWE to protect her from difficult challengers. She is actively inviting both problems while Liv continues disputing the circumstances of their Santiago title change.

Becky’s involvement gives WWE another easy direction if the company wants to avoid immediately repeating Vaquer-Liv one-on-one. The championship story now has three established personalities without requiring another artificial No. 1 contender tournament.

Lola Vice Officially Joins the Raw Roster

Adam Pearce formally introduced Lola Vice as the newest member of the Raw women’s roster. Vice spoke about the influence of her Cuban mother and martial-arts background before Roxanne Perez interrupted, prompting Lola to drop her with a backfist.

The segment connected directly to Money in the Bank because both women are now in the Ladder Match. That gives Lola an immediate rivalry on the main roster rather than simply signing a contract and disappearing into the rotation.

Her debut has been handled quickly without feeling rushed. WWE gave her a successful qualifier first, then followed with the official roster introduction and a clear personal issue.

Mara Sadé Reportedly Signs With AEW

Former NXT and TNA wrestler Mara Sadé has reportedly signed a full-time salaried contract with AEW. Fightful Select reported that Sadé has actually been under contract since last week, while her personal website briefly listed AEW among the companies she has worked for before that reference was removed.

Sadé wrestled as Jakara Jackson in WWE before joining TNA in 2025. TNA announced her departure last month amid reports that multiple companies were interested in signing her.

AEW adding another wrestler to an already deep women’s roster puts more pressure on the company to create enough meaningful television time, but Sadé has the advantage of arriving with experience in multiple national promotions rather than needing to learn on television.

Steph De Lander Values the Creative Freedom in ROH

Steph De Lander said her early experience with Ring of Honor has left her excited about the creative freedom available to her. Speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, De Lander said she has been able to bring ideas involving matches, character work and storylines even though she has only made a handful of appearances and has not signed a contract with ROH.

De Lander also said TNA afforded her significant creative freedom, particularly while injuries kept her out of the ring, while acknowledging WWE operates with considerably more structure because of the scale of its television product.

That perspective is useful because wrestlers often discuss creative freedom as though every company either has it or does not. De Lander’s explanation is more realistic: different environments give performers different amounts of room depending on what those promotions are trying to produce.

NXT Preview — September 22, 2026

NXT returns tonight with the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic beginning and several ongoing stories carrying directly out of last week’s show. La Catalina is also scheduled to team with Thea Hail against Kelani Jordan and Zaria after their confrontation last Tuesday.

That makes tonight another potentially important show for Catalina despite Monday’s Money in the Bank loss. WWE is clearly using the AAA champion as more than a one-night crossover attraction heading into Worlds Collide.

Tuesday also gives NXT a chance to establish the returning Dusty Classic quickly. With teams coming from multiple WWE-affiliated brands, the tournament should immediately create matchups the weekly television structure normally cannot produce.

Raw’s biggest success Monday was keeping several stories moving at once without making everything revolve around Roman Reigns. Oba returned, Penta found a new path toward the title, Roxanne added another achievement and the women’s world-title picture widened considerably.
