KO TV title match, M by Elegance vs Jada Stone! Amazing Red defends the X-Division title and Hardys take a trip to the slaughterhouse for Halloween!
I praised last week for setting up a Knockouts tag Division even though it looks like the Elegance Brand is on the way out. I’m a little interested to see if Nic and Elijah is anything interesting, and I’m probably more invested in Frankie Kazarian staying a Babyface/Tweener, than I should be. But cool uncle Jessie Kaz is something I didn’t know I needed in the big 26.
Let’s see if the show continues to build, or stalls a bit.

TNA Knockouts TV Title: M by Elegance w/Elegance Brand (c) vs Jada Stone
Jada comes out instantly, Dropkick, Headbutt, and a Headscissors and she rolls! Standing Moonsault gives Jada a quick two. Dork boy by Elegance is on the apron, but Jada moves and Maggie kicks him in the mush. Miscommunication continues so Jada takes advantage of the stupidity. Spark Stunner off the entry, but no! Maggie dumps Jada out of the ring. While the sharks swarm they don’t connect and Maggie throws Jada back in for two near falls.
Maggie goes for the typical heel slowdown Sleeper as the crowd rallies for Jada. Jada connects on a Jaw Jacker and a few spots but Maggie slows her comeback with a Big Boot. After Maggie taunts a little too long, we get a Moonsault miss, a Superkick, a little back and forth and Jada with a desperation Spark Stunner but it sends Maggie reeling to the outside. Following up, Jada hits a Moonsault onto the Dork, then a Spanish Fly from the steps has Maggie looking worse for wear.
Jada throws her back in, goes for the pinfall but Heather slides in to break up the pinfall and argue with the referee. Maggie tells Dork to get her title, Dork quits, Jada tries to turn it into a Roll-Up with a bridge but Maggie keeps rolling through, grabs Jada into the Package Tombstone and retains.
One less Elegance imbecile and I can’t say I’m mad. I love Maggie, but the Elegance Brand is a waste of time.
Zero vs BDE
Zero dominates, BDE gets a flourish with a Big Boot, into Clip Cutter. Looks to follow it up but eats a Charging Forearm and then Choke Bomb. BDE is squashed.
Security and Rich Swann try to save BDE, but he lays everyone out.
Ricky Sosa declares for the X-Cup saying he’s wrestling for Belgium, Fabian Aichner is on behalf of Italy. So…are we doing a free for all thing? A team “World”, I guess we’re not using old formats?
Shotzi Blackheart promo basically saying she’s here for all the spooky hardcore stuff, Monster’s Ball, Last Knockout Standing, the Undead Realm, all of it.

X-Division Championship: Amazing Red (c) vs Cedric Alexander
Typical start with Wrist Control and chain wrestling, Red knocks Cedric to the outside, hits a Dive and stands tall before the commercial kicks in.
As is tradition, the heel turns it around during the commercial. Cedric has a moment with the Bearhug, X Plex and Red is just getting tossed around until he’s thrown back into the ring. Standing switches for everyone, Red tries an Up and Over, Cedric catches, Spicolli Driver for two.. Cedric takes his hair band out and goes back to the Bearhug. Red back to his feet, he connects with strikes while ducking Alexander. Red off the ropes with the flying head-scissor! Forearm, Satellite DDT, near fall.
Red hits a Superkick, Michinoku Driver from Cedric, as Cedric takes off his Elbow Pad, Strike Exchange looks silly since Red is tiny compared to Cedric, both miss kicks, standing switch city, Victory Roll, Locomotion Cradles, Cedric hits a Forearm, rope rums, Feint Kick from Red, Middle Rope Flying Flatliner, Code Red, and Amazing Red retains!

AJ Francis w/Expressions vs John Skyler w/Mila Moore
Expressions tries to distract Skyler instant, but he avoids AJ, counters the offense attempts, Dropkick, Lariat to the outside, Skyler Plancha and manages to get enough of AJ to knock him down. Expressions with more attempts at interreference, AJ posts Skyler, rolls him back in Tennessee Whiskey. Expressions starts choking Skyler, then hits on Mila Moore, Skyler is fighting back against AJ. Knee Lift, but AJ moves to the side, Slingshot Spear from Skyler for a two count.
Mila gets on the apron to try and stop Expressions, AJ shoves Skyler into Mila, referee and Skyler are distracted. AJ tries to take advantage but Skyler hits a Tornado DDT, but the referee is out of position. They go back to being distracted by Mila, TFL from AJ, Down Payment, stupid sequence.
Trey Miguel and Leo Slater have a miserably boring promo segment. They say nothing, they mostly just have a dick measuring contest over who’s life was harder. I think I slipped into a coma during this at some point. Neither idiot has charisma and this match is about as interesting as a prostate exam.
Ryan Nemeth vs Elijah
After Ryan cuts a promo and then they play a competitive crowd reaction game for a few minutes before Ryan attacks Elijah, uses his t-shirt for early choke spots but Elijah pops up, Chops, a big Lariat, and Ryan is getting bounced. Elijah works him over into a corner, but he keeps finding articles of clothing to “stranglehold” people since that’s the name of the movie he’s in. It’s a cute way to promote and be fully in character for Ryan’s silly personality.
Ryan starts hip thrusting after he rocks Elijah for a moment, but Elijah pops him with an Enzuigiri and then Highwayman’s Farewell, Elijah wins. Nic shows up afterwards to attack Elijah. Nic is checking on Ryan after Nic thinks Elijah left, but Elijah grabs the guitar, measures, Nic sees it and dodges, leaving Ryan to eat the full chairshot.
Can’t say this was much of a match, but it was funny for Ryan and Nic’s continued mistreatment of Ryan could turn to a breakup soon. A few bread crumbs to pay attention to here.
Slaughterhouse Syx Match: The Hardy Boyz vs syX
It opens like a cinematic match with the Hardyz wandering down to the Boiler Room, Shaw is waiting, Sawyer tries to get a sneak attack with an axe, but it misses. Shaw has a piece of chain and isolates Jeff. Slams Jeff face first into a ladder and then squeezes Jeff’s head in the ladder before smashing him into the steps. Jeff fights back, grabs the ladder, Sabus it at Shaw and starts to slowly walk up the steps, before doing the banister ride, but Shaw moves and says “Didn’t work this time Jeff”. Good reference. Shaw works over Jeff further and Shaw decides to go find Sawyer and Matt in a very horror movie way.
Matt is beating on Sawyer with a shovel until Sawyer grabs a trash can and rocks Matt. They brawl through a corridor and then to a work bench. Matt finds a baking sheet randomly…that has no reason…but anyway, a smaller ladder and brawl spots for both guys. Matt goes for a Butterfly Lock but that’s when Shaw finds them and Sawyer and Shaw start to double team Matt. They trap Matt in a room after beating on him.
Jeff jumps from the walls, tries to fight both Sawyer and Shaw, but the numbers catch up with him. They stick him in a trash can, Amazing Grace starts to play as Shaw and Sawyer take Axes to two sides of the can, and Jeff slowly slumps forward.
Overall Score: 5/10
While not bad, this episode really just felt like it only built off of last week, but not in ways that made a huge difference. Harley Hudson agreed to join the Righteous, but the official acceptance is still next week, the Elegance Brand has been dead in the water since ASH vacated the Knockouts Title, Red’s first match on Impact in like 15 years was nothing special. Daria getting her own Wrestling Observer is punny, but we don’t need more innocuous authority figures.
The Slaughterhouse match also was a bit…meh. syX is too new and hot to really be losing very often. Even if this results in a Willow returning and some new variant of Matt Hardy, we probably won’t see an official blow off until Genesis…or whatever they’re calling the January PLE.
Also Zero is worthless, Skyler and Mila’s whatever was poorly executed and while I love Ryan, I wonder if he’s always gonna be the comedy fall guy or if they’re gonna try to push him. Either way, skippable. Not offensive, but not must see tv.
