Kyle ROCKS Garcia, Cassidy climbs up on Yuta, but Yuta lifts Cassidy off the corner! Cassidy sunset flips, TWO, but Yuta ELBOWS Cassidy down! The fans boo Yuta but he soaks up the heat. Marina eggs Willow on, Willow CHOPS again! Marina shouts, “Do better!” Then she CHOPS! But Willow RUNS Marina over! The fans fire up as Willow runs, rolls, and returns, but Marina dodges to SNAP GERMAN! Willow avoids the Penalty Kick to roll Marina up, TWO!

Willow CHOPS, CHOPS, and feints to scoop and SLAM! The fans fire up as Willow flexes, but Claudio steps in! Willow dares the Swiss Cyborg to do something! Claudio shrugs, kicks, but Willow blocks! The Death Riders huddle up and do their rugby circle. They then stomp and kick The Conglomeration around, and Yuta puts Cassidy in the ring. Claudio steps in, drags Cassidy up, and he whips Cassidy to ropes. Claudio hits a THESZ PRESS, then he SLAMS Cassidy off the mat! Yuta & Claudio drag Cassidy back up, and whip him in for Garcia’s LARIAT! The Death Riders flex and gloat, then Garcia catches Kyle in the ropes for a GUILLOTINE! Claudio does the same with Roddy! Garcia bumps Cassidy off buckles, then climbs up to rain down fists! Garcia goes all the way to nine, then winds up, but no dancing and no tenth. Garcia ROCKS Kyle, but Kyle snarls. Yuta ROCKS Kyle, eggs him on, and Kyle fires off KICK after KICK after KICK on all the Death Riders! The fans fire up but the numbers get Kyle in a 3v1 mugging! They kick Kyle out, but Roddy runs in! Roddy CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS away, but he gets mugged 3v1, too! Roddy bails out, Claudio and Yuta teetertotter to send Yuta up, up, and away! The fans cheer as Yuta knocks Roddy & Kyle down, but then Cassidy DUMPS Claudio out! Garcia runs up, Cassidy DUMPS him out, too! Marina runs up, whips Cassidy, but Cassidy tumbles up and out! The fans fire up as now Willow LARIATS Marina! And LARIATS again, and again! The fans fire up with Willow, she runs corner to corner, back body block! Then a LARIAT! Yuta grabs Willow by the hair! PROGRAMMING NOTE for Dynamite!

With WrestleDream next Saturday, Dynamite this Wednesday is now also a THREE-HOUR SUPER SHOW! That’s right, a regular two-hour Dynamite and a one-hour Collision, all to wrap up the Clockwork Carnage Qualifiers! With that, Tony Khan has made a deal with a few of the champions of AEW: If you want in, make your title as part of the Qualifier! Darby Allin said bet, and now he defends the TNT Championship against Hechicero! The Alchemist is already CMLL World Champion, will he become the Don Callis Family’s new double champion? Or will Darby still be the Face of TNT going into WrestleDream?

But speaking of the Don Callis Family, Kazuchika Okada is taking that same deal so he can have a second chance at the world title! As part of a Clockwork Carnage Qualifier, he defends his AEW International Championship against Myron Reed! Will Okada make it rain in Cleveland before going to Orlando? Or will Myron be one Rascal that’s riding high into WrestleDream? And then, with Konosuke Takeshita calling his shot, he faces The Machine, Brian Cage! Will there be no stopping The Alpha on his rise to the top? Then in the fourth qualifier of the night, Ricochet will face Ace Austin, and in the fifth, it will be Adam Copeland VS Josh Alexander!

But first, The Most Dangerous Man is looking to get a warm-up in. Will #BadNewsAndTattoos be more than enough? Or will he and STP be more than Swerve bargained for?

The bell rings, Shane’s already talking trash on New Level, but Bravo runs up! Swerve dodges, Bravo hits buckles, then Swerve DECKS Bravo! And DECKS him again! Swerve whips Bravo to ropes, ELBOWS him down, then KNEE DROPS! The fans cheer for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Carlie CLUBS Swerve, whips him, but Swerve goes up and out. Swerve then steps in and DROPKICKS the legs out! Swerve basement DROPKICKS again, then covers, TWO! Carlie toughs it out, STP talks more trash with Nana & New Level, but Swerve whips Carlie. The fans boo but Shaney T talks trash. But Swerve BOOTS Shane! Carlie DAREDEVIL DIVES to TORNADO DDT Swerve on the floor! The fans do cheer that, and Carlie puts Swerve in! Slingshot and CUTTER! The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see how you know!

The bell rings and the fans rally. Oku and Andrade circle, tie up, and Andrade headlocks. Andrade hits a takeover, Oku headscissors, but Andrade kips free. Roles reverse as Oku headlocks for the takeover, but Andrade headscissors, only for Oku to kip free. Andrade goes fora leg, trips Oku, and he steps through, only for Oku to boot free! Oku trips Andrade, has a leg, but Andrade kicks free. Oku cartwheels through, comes back, and RANAS, but Andrade handsprings through! The fans cheer and Andrade revels in it. Andrade runs up, Oku slips around to waistlock, but Andrade elbows free. Andrade runs, but Oku goes the other way to KNEE Andrade down!

The fans fire up as Oku builds speed, but he sees the backdrop so he whips Andrade away. Andrade goes tranquilo in the ropes! The fans cheer, and Oku is annoyed seeing that. Oku DROPKICKS Andrade down! The fans are torn, but then they rally with Oku as he builds speed. Andrade hurries away, denying Oku his flight. Oku wags his finger as he steps outside, and he runs up on Andrade, only for Andrade to THROW Oku overhead and into railing! Andrade points up to Heaven, saying that was for Pac after their epic battle at All Out. And oh, even in France, Andrade finds a lovely young lady who wants a selfie. She even gives him a kiss on the cheek!

The fans cheer, and Andrade storms up on Oku to put him in the ring. But then wait, Amira wants a selfie? Guess even married women can’t resist. They take the picture, but this is a distraction! Oku FOSBURY FLOPS onto Andrade! The fans cheer as Mr. & Mrs. take a selfie now while shouting, “NOW we play!” The fans cheer Oku on while Amira talks some trash, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Oku puts Andrade in, then he goes to the corner. Oku climbs up, up, and aims for a MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Andrade is tougher than that, but Oku stays focused. Oku lines up a shot and stomps Andrade down! Then he pushes Andrade down so he can KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO! Andrade is still tougher than that, so Oku keeps after him. Andrade CHOPS, Oku CHOPS in return! Andrade stands up, he CHOPS again, but Oku walks it off. Oku CHOPS Andrade! Andrade CHOPS again! Oku staggers, but he comes back to fires a forearm! Andrade fires back! They go back and forth, forearm for forearm, and Andrade gets the edge to LARIAT!

Andrade LARIATS again, then ducks ‘n’ dodges to FLYING FOREARM! Amira is certainly stunned seeing that, but then Andrade kips up! Andrade starts unbuckling the belt, and OFF COME THE PANTS! Andrade chose yellow tonight, and he brings Oku to the drop zone. Andrade goes up, up, but Oku trips him up! Oku climbs up, CLUBS Andrade, but Andrade CLUBS Oku in return. Andrade ELBOWS Oku down, then grins as he adjusts, to MOONSAULT DOUBLE! Cover, TWO! Grand Slam returns to single picture as the fans fire up again. Andrade says it was that close, but Amira coaches Oku up.

Andrade pounds the mat, the fans join in with clapping, and Andrade runs corner to corner, only for Oku to snatch his legs! Roll and HALF CRAB!! The fans rally as Andrade endures, but Oku sits deep! Andrade fights, reaches for a leg, and he turns things over so he can BOOT Oku away! Oku PENALTY KKICKS on rebound! Then a TOP ROPE LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO!! The fans fire up as Oku hurries to a corner. Oku climbs, aims, and FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH to Andrade’s back! Oku then goes back to the corner, climbs back up top, and aims again! FIVE STAR FROG FLOP as Andrade dodges! DAY OF- NO, Oku rolls Andrade with a bridge, TWO!!

Oku stands, into the DAY OF THE DEAD!! Andrade isn’t done there, he underhooks for a DIRECT MESSAGE!! Cover, Andrade wins!

The Psycho Killer is still hunting down his next championship, and it seems he’s found his new target! Ciampa steps into the ring, he looks at the National Championship, and he offers a handshake.

The fans cheer, and Andrade accepts the handshake! Ciampa even gives Andrade a kiss on the cheek! Is that a kiss of death? The fans sing Ciampa’s song, and Ciampa assures Andrade, “Nattie” is coming home with him next week. Andrade goes to leave, but Ciampa KNEES him down! Ciampa reels Andrade in through ropes, WILLOW’S BELL onto the belt!! Ciampa holds the belt up, hugs it close, then leaves it with Andrade for now. Will nothing stop Ciampa from making his WrestleDream come true?

Lena stomps away on Harley, then she and Megan mug Lena. They double whip Kris, Kris grabs the ropes, then Kris dodges Divine Dominion to DOUBLE LARIAT them up and out! Skye runs, Harley dodge, and Harley NECKBREAKER DROPS! The fans fire up with Harley, and she runs to back elbow in the corner! Tag to Kris before the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP, and then Kris adds a slingshot SENTON! A rather stiff landing, too. Kris then whips Harley, and scoops her to SLAM her onto Skye! Cover, TWO! Skye survives but Kris tags Harley. Kris SLIDING LARIATS, then she feeds Skye to Harley’s arm-drag and HALF CRAB! Julia jumps in and SUPERKICKS Harley! Megan LEAPING LARIATS Julia! Kris BOOTS Megan! Lena BOOTS Kris! Skye RANAS Lena! Harley dodges Skye, Skye blocks a kick and KNEES Harley!

Skye runs, Lena tags in, and Megan RAMS Skye while Lena CLOBBERS Harley! Lena kicks Harley out while Megan fireman’s carries Skye. Megan then THROWS Skye out onto Julia, Harley & Kris! The fans fire up for that, Megan shouts, “BOW DOWN!” and Collision goes picture in picture.

Lena puts Harley back in, stomps her around, and RAMS her into the Divine Dominion corner. Lena RAMS in again and again, then she tags Megan. Megan hoists Harley up, CHOPS her on the top rope, then climbs up to STAND on Harley! The ref reprimands but Megan hops down. Megan drags Harley down to RAM her in again and again! Megan runs corner to corner and SPLASHES! Lena tags in before the BUTTERFLY PLEX, then adds a SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Harley toughs it out but Lena drags her up to whip her and scoop her. Matt & Nick Jackson only just won these titles at All Out to become the historic FOUR-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions, but there’s already a match set for WrestleDream with Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher! However, David Finlay & Clark Connors were quick to point out that they have a win over Matt & Nick from Summer Blockbuster. Therefore, Bucks and Dogs will fight tooth and nail to settle the score. Who books their flight to Orlando to face #ProtoJet?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who completes the Grand Slam!

The teams sort out and The Dogs attack from behind! The fans boo but Connors CHOPS away on Matt while Finlay stomps away on Nick! The fans boo more, but The Dogs run corner to corner to LARIAT! Then they run again to LARIAT! The Dogs go for a third, but The Bucks dodge to LARIAT in return! Then they dosido to LARIAT again! And then The Bucks HIGH-FIVE DOUBLE BULLDOG! The fans fire up, the bell finally rings, and The Bucks kick and run. Nick gets a boost to DOUBLE DROPKICK The Dogs out! Finlay gets back up but Matt traps him so Nick can DROPKICK! Matt runs to WRECK The Dogs with a dropkick!

Matt then holds the ropes down for Nick to FLY! The Dogs go down again, and the fans fire up with The Bucks! Nick drags Connors up and puts him in the ring. The fans cheer for “THE! ELITE! THE THE ELITE!” Nick climbs, but Finlay trips him up! The fans boo but Connors BOOTS Matt away. The Dogs send Nick into a corner, then Connors tags Finlay. Connors whips Finlay for Finlay to whip, and they dosido so that Connors LARIATS Nick! Finlay adds an UPPERCUT! The Dogs then double whip Nick to DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, and he sends The Dogs into each other! Nick then slips under and he hot tags Matt!

Matt RAMS Finlay, RAMS Connors, then he slingshots up and over to LARIAT Connors! The fans cheer as Matt keeps moving, but Finlay BOOTS him away! Finlay runs up, but Matt catches him to a NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express starts up, Connors runs in, Matt gives The Dogs a DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS! The fans cheer while Matt tags Nick. Matt puts Finlay in the ropes and holds him out so Nick can DRAPING SWANTON BOMB! Cover, TWO! Finlay survives but Nick tags Matt back in. The Bucks whip Finlay but Finlay sends Nick away. Nick goes up and over, Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay!

The Bucks DOUBLE SUPERKICK Connors! Then they double mule kick the legs out! They sit Finlay up, B T E- NO, Finlay ducks, the knees collide! The Bucks hobble, and Connors TACKLES Nick outta the ring! Finlay IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKERS Matt! Finlay then TOSSES Matt out! Connors revs the engine, and he JEEP FLIPS Matt! The fans boo but The Dogs soak up the heat. The ring count starts on The Bucks, but Connors goes over to fetch Matt while Collision goes picture in picture.

Connors puts Matt in, Finlay covers, TWO! Finlay keeps Matt from the corner, and he SLAMS Matt’s hand on the mat. Tag to Connors and he clamps onto Matt. Connors snap suplexes, then covers, TWO! Connors KNEES Matt, fires hands, but Matt fires back! Connors BODOY BLOWS, then UPPERCUTS! Matt falls to ropes, but Connors whips. Connors ELBOWS him down, then he BLASTS Nick for good measure. Nick is furious but the ref keeps him back, which allows The Dogs to mug Matt! They get away with it all, then Connors drags Matt up. Connors whips Matt to an open corner hard, and Matt slumps to the mat.

Connors steps on Matt’s back, stomps him, then UPPERCUTS him to the corner. Tag to Finlay, but Matt fires back! Matt ROCKS Finlay, ROCKS Connors, repeat! But Finlay KNEES low! Finlay snapmares Matt and clamps on with a chinlock. Finlay taunts Nick, but Matt endures. Matt fights to his feet, fires body shots, and Grand Slam returns to single picture. Finlay ROCKS Matt, whips him to a corner, but Matt goes up, out, and CROSSBODIES Connors! Matt hurries back in, runs up, but Finlay keeps Matt from Nick! Matt sunset flips but Finlay steps around to sit on the cover! TWO, and Finlay high stacks!

Finlay deadlifts Matt, but Matt RANAS Finlay into Nick’s GAMANGIRI! Matt then feints the kick to DDT! The fans fire up as both men crawl, hot tag to Nick! Nick goes up to CROSSBODY The Dogs! Nick knuckle locks Finlay, CHPOS, then “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans fire up as Nick then whips Finlay, but Finlay reverses. Finlay runs up, but Nick dodges to put him in ropes! Nick ENZIGIRIS Finlay, runs up on Connors, but Connors pops him out to the apron. Nick ENZIGIRIS Connors! Nick springboards to DOUBLE STOMP Connors, then he somersaults to DRAPING BACKSTABBER Finlay!

The Bucks double kip up! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! All four men are down and the fans fire up again! “This is Awesome!” as matt and Finlay find each other. They throw hands back and forth, Matt fires a flurry, but here comes Connors! Matt TOSSES Connors, but Finlay fires hands! Nick runs up, but Finlay TOSSES him! Matt ROCKS Finlay, then scoops! Nick is on the apron, but Connors SPEARS Nick on the apron!

Finlay flips things around on Matt, CANADIAN HAMMER! Cover, TWO! Matt survives but The Dogs go to corners! They aim, HIGH LOW COMBO! Cover, TWO!! Matt survives and Finlay is beside himself! Connors says they’ve got more ammo to give! Connors climbs, Finlay suplexes, FULL CLIP!! Cover, Nick breaks it in time! The fans cheer but Connors kicks Nick out. Finlay goes up, Connors suplexes Matt up to him, and Finlay hoists Matt up! But Matt RANAS free! Nick SUPERKICKS Connors! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Finlay! And then B T E TRIGGER!! Direct hit! Cover, Bucks win!

The Dogs tried to take a bite out of The Bucks but it was more than they could chew! However, the celebration is cut short as Kyle & Kevin rush out here! The fans boo but ProtoJet gets the jump on The Bucks! Knight stomps away on Nick, Kyle stomps away on Matt! The fans boo but Don Callis cheers his guys on! He even gets his own cheap shots, the bald vulture! Knight CHOKES Nick, Callis CLAWS Nick’s eyes! The fans tell Callis off, but there’s nothing to stop the family! CRASH LANDING for Nick, BRAINBUSTER for Matt!! Knight & Fletcher lift up the belts as if they’ve already won. Will this be what happens at WrestleDream?

My Thoughts:

While Dynamite was PPV level, Collision was about the usual for Collision. We got a great Mixed 8 Match from Conglomeration VS Death Riders, and a great win for the Death Riders. We also got a great promo from Moxley, Gabe & Marina afterward, and aside from how they use the numbers game, The Death Riders really are a moment away from being Faces. That Six Man Tag on the go-home is going to be great, and there’s certainly a way for Moxley and Davis to be left out of the finish so that there’s no go-home math to tip off WrestleDream. Though, even then, I’d think Moxley wins at WrestleDream anyway.

Jericho VS Nick was good stuff, especially Jericho handing out necklaces as a jab to Nick. I figured Nick would win here, though, to compel a tiebreaker. It’d be fitting if they waited for Fright Night so they can even put a Halloween themed stipulation on top. Swerve of course won his match with Carlie Bravo, but a little surprised Hangman’s team didn’t appear. I guess we got enough of an interaction between them on Dynamite, they didn’t feel the need to repeat themselves. Andrade VS Oku was really good, but I figured Andrade would win out. Ciampa going right after Andrade was good, their match could be a show stealer for WrestleDream.

Very good match from Bailey VS Moriarty as a Clockwork Carnage Qualifier, and I figured Bailey would win the spot in the match. The news of title matches also being qualifiers, this is very much the glorified-tune-up concept AEW loves using so much. As very good as tonight’s tag title main event was, it was also that. The Bucks were not going to lose their first defense when it was on TV and against The Dogs. But with Kyle & Kevin attacking tonight and standing tall, I would think The Bucks win the match at WrestleDream, too.

And we got a very good Triple Threat tag, though it went pretty quick because they made sure to stay close to the two hours this time. Divine Dominion having lost twice to Brawling Birds, it made sense they wouldn’t get a third shot so soon. Plus, there’s plenty of beef between them and the Triangle of Madness, that can be its own feud since Mone and Thekla also have their own match coming. As for Kris & Harley having the title shot, I feel like Brawling Birds retain the titles, but Kris & Harley will certainly give them a run for their money.
