But the first thing he wants to say tonight is… Thank you so much to all his opponents at Money in the Bank. They have his respect, thank you. But he wants to tell us something from his heart. For 20 years, eh fought for every opportunity in his life. Nothing was given to him, he earned everything! And at MITB, he did it one more time!

This briefcase represents the sacrifice and hard work in this ring, and also his family and all his people supporting him! Because this means everything to him! Now, he has the power in his hands. The fans cheer the Young OG, and Evans says hey, if you can hear him, give him a “YURRRT~!” “YURRRT~!” Evans says as you can see, he’s a little messed up, banged up, walking with a limb, all taped up. They tried to send him home, but he said no matter how many ribs he broke or how bad his head hurts, there was no way the Young OG was gonna miss an episode of Monday Night Raw. The fans cheer that! Evans says the reason he didn’t wanna miss tonight was because he wanted to tell Penta something man to man, face to face.

Evans says if there is anybody who deserves that briefcase this year, it’s Penta. The fans cheer that, too! They said it once, but Evans will say it again, he’s proud of Penta. They’re proud of Penta! And Penta does deserve it. Evans manages to dap it up with Penta and carefully hug it out. But BRON BREAKKER is here! Evans shoves Penta aside too take the SPEAR!! The fans boo but Bron gets outta there before Penta can retaliate! Bron slowly exits while Penta checks on Evans. Penta warns Bron, but Bron just gives a thumbs up. Will Penta make sure Bron pays for this cheap shot? Will Evans have no choice but to stay home now?

Rey Mysterio VS Big Cass!

The King of Lucha is no stranger to taking on men bigger than him, let alone giants, but this might be a different thing altogether. The Human Skyscraper attacked Rey AND Dragon Lee last week, hitting them both with just one boot! Will it be even easier now that it’s 1v1? Or will Rey continue to be a giantslayer?

946 speaks.

They’re hyped up, and Jaida Parker says this is what y’all been waiting for! Talk to ’em! Lucien Price tells Bloodline, if you gonna shoot, don’t miss. Bronco Nima says as much, and Royce Keys warns Solo & The Usos, there’s always strength in numbers. Ain’t nobody safe.

Adam Pearce finishes watching that.

Referee Chad Patton walks in and says the Raw GM wanted to see him. Yes, Chad, thank you. Pearce needs him on the main event tonight. Is this a punishment? No, but it’s not a normal situation, either. Bloodline, 946, we need a senior official in there. These teams don’t follow the rules, we all know that, and it’s more about getting in there to maintain order, get the finish, and get outta there. Can he do that? Chad says yes. They shake hands on it, but is this going to be more than anyone bargained for?

The Judgment Day is here!

Bossier is torn seeing Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez and the NEW WWE Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, all go to the ring. Liv jumps into Dom’s arms and gets pyro, but the fans still boo. The fans cheer as The Hot Mess and WWE Women’s Champion of SmackDown now struts her way to the ring! Chelsea tells Liv that she didn’t come out here to ruin the celebration. She just wanted to stand toe to toe and title to title with the woman she’s facing at Crown Jewel. Chelsea does respect Liv, she admires the tenacity, and is excited for the match. May the best woman win. Liv smirks as Chelsea offers a handshake, then laughs at her.

Aw, Chelsea… She’s not shaking her pathetic hand, okay? Because handshakes are for equals. And they are not equal. No. Chelsea is not even a fighting champion! She’s not even a real champion! But boy, is she looking at one! Liv says sorry, it just seems hard for her to take Chelsea seriously. The only thing remotely threatening is her friend Tiffany Stratton becoming Miss MITB, and then she got hurt, didn’t she? Too bad. So Liv does not have much to worry about from a placeholder champion, huh? The fans boo but Chelsea says she’s okay with Liv underestimating her. In fact, Chelsea’s been underestimated her whole career, so she loves Liv doing it.

Because while Liv is here doing that, having a little party with her minions, Chelsea is going to be working day in and day out so that come Crown Jewel, when the bell rings, Liv’s back is on the mat and she’ll be looking up at the lights. The fans cheer that! Chelsea makes it very clear: There is a reason Chelsea IS WWE Women’s Champion! Go ahead, underestimate her, but she’ll make you respect her! The fans cheer that! Liv still laughs, but Chelsea says she won’t stand here being called a placeholder champ when Liv’s just Dom’s placeholder girlfriend. OOF!

Chelsea dribbles Roxie off buckles, then goes up the corner. Chelsea aims, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Roxie tumbles, Chelsea salutes, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again as Roxie BOOTS Chelsea from a corner. Roxie BOOTS again, runs, and tilt-o-whirls, but Chelsea stops the leg sweep! Chelsea back suplexes, Roxie lands out, but then Chelsea JAPANESE ARM-DRAGS! And another! Then she ducks a shot to ripcord and ENZIGIRI! The fans boo, but they set Chelsea up for OBLIVION! Chelsea is down, but will she have a comeback plan in mind for Crown Jewel?

The Usos talk backstage.

They know they have to stick together against 946 tonight. But then Solo Sikoa steps in. Jey sya she doesn’t know if Solo knows, but they the captains, Uce. Whatever play they calling, he’s gotta run it. Understand? Solo understands. But understand this: They ain’t HIS captains. And Roman Reigns is NOT his Tribal Chief! Is Jimmy hearing this? What kind of special relationship Solo and Roman got going on? Solo says that’s between him and Roman. Matter of fact, The Usos need to follow his lead tonight. Jey says he just said- Jimmy says no, regardless, they gotta put this aside and stick together tonight, alright? Jey says YEET, but will they be ready for whatever 946 tries?

Oba Femi is here!

Bossier City is all fired up as The Ruler struts his way to the ring. Oba grabs the mic and he says, “I’ll have you know that The Ruler is in a very good mood tonight.” The fans cheer that! Oba says they might be wondering why. He’ll ask us this: Did we see Money in the Bank? Yes! Did they see what he did to Bronson Reed? Yes! And he was told that there was going to be Tsunami after Tsunami after Tsunami, and then he gets to Louisiana, all he sees are still waters, calm seas, and blue skies. Oba then realized, there’re no Tsunamis in Louisiana! There’s no Tsunamis here in Bossier! But we have to remember, Bronson’s whole thing is he didn’t understand the hype.

Oba said no problem, my brother, come here, take this crash course. Oba taught Bronson, and rest assured, after the match, Bronson learned the lesson. The same lesson Oba taught Brock Lesnar last month. The same lesson Oba’s been teaching every single man that has stepped to him! It is that no matter how big you are, how fast you are, how strong you are, how many people you’ve beat, how many titles you’ve held, who your cousins are, how many cousins you have, IT DOES NOT MATTER! The one thing that matters is that everyone will bend the knee! Every last one. And now that he is done with The Vision, he can leave them in the rearview on the way to fulfilling destiny.

But “Ladies and gentlemen,” Paul Heyman is here! The fans are torn as The Wise Man walks out on stage, and he continues his introductions. “And I’m so glad, so glad, Oba Femi, that you used that word, ‘destiny.’ Because this, my God, Oba Femi, this IS your destiny! I warned Bronson Reed he was gonna have to hit you with Tsunami after Tsunami, after Tsunami, after Tsunami, after Tsunami, after Tsunami, after Tsunami, after Tsunami, Tsunami, Tsunami, TSUNAMI, TSUNAMI, TSUNAMI…! And he got one Tsunami, and then Oba Femi got his shoulder up, and no man in history has kicked out of Bronson Reed’s Tsunami.

“But Oba Femi did.” The fans cheer that! Heyman goes to the ring now as the fans chant “O~BA!” Heyman says he agrees 100%. The fans applaud, Heyman asks if he may step in, and Oba says please. Heyman steps in and says ladies and gentlemen, let’s be honest. When we look to the future of the WWE, this is the guy! This is the guy right there! Heyman could not believe what he was watching. Oba was even better on Saturday night than he was at WrestleMania and SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar! And it is not like Oba needed to improve at all. Heyman realized in that moment, there is no stopping this guy!

And it’s not just this guy, it’s not just a guy, this is THE guy to lead us into the future! A vision of the future in the WWE with THE Guy! And that, Mr. Femi, brings Heyman to his point. Oba has Heyman wait there. Paul, come on now. After everything they’ve bee through this year, after everything Heyman has said, c’mon. See, that’s why Heyman loves Oba! No, Oba wants to say this first. He takes Heyman’s mic away! The fans cheer and Heyman gets a bit worried. Oba tells Heyman that with all due respect, he’s not Brock Lesnar. Oba is definitely not Roman Reigns. They were Paul Heyman guys. This is an OBA FEMI GUY!

Oba drops his mic and takes his leave. The fans cheer as The Ruler is and always will be his own man. Will Oba then make himself into a world champion all on his own?

Adam Pearce talks with Iyo Sky.

The Raw GM knows The Genius is feeling good after beating Lyra Valkyria last week, so what can he do for her? Iyo says she is looking for her next challenge. But then Lyra interrupts and says they need to talk. Uh, sorry, he was in the middle of something with Iyo. Oh no, two straight years of being too busy to talk to her! Lyra has a serious issue! Lyra warns Iyo to shush. What is Adam gonna do about Bayley? She’s cost Lyra matches but Lyra beat her twice now, and yet Bayley’s still hanging around like a bad smell. She straight up threatened Lyra! Lyra doesn’t feel safe! Wait, wait, she’s right there! Oh, hey, Bayley.

Lyra says Pearce isn’t gonna do anything?! Bayley’s just standing there! Lyra asks if this is for real. Lyra storms off in frustration, Pearce goes back to Iyo, but then Roxie & Raquel step in. Also, Bayley strolls off to follow Lyra. Roxie says there is nothing as important as addressing Judgment Day. We all saw Roxie pin Chelsea, and she’ll do it again. So Roxie thinks she deserves a shot at THE WWE Women’s Championship. Oh, great, go to SmackDown and take it up with Aldis, Pearce is helping Iyo. Oh, Iyo Sky? Just like everyone else, Judgment Day forgot she existed. But what’s funny to Raquel is that she’s been here so long, she remembers a time when Iyo actually mattered.

Iyo asks if Raquel is serious. Iyo stares Roxie & Raquel down, but tells Adam that she just found her next challenge. Iyo smiles then leaves. Is she coming after La Ruda’s Intercontinental Championship? When and where will we see The Genius defy Judgment Day’s dominance?

Backstage interview with LA Knight.

Jackie Redmond is with The Mega Star, and knows things didn’t go how he wanted. But at the same time, what a match! There were numerous times that everyone felt Knight had it! Knight says stop, he’s not looking for flowers, he doesn’t want his flowers, he didn’t get what he was looking for. But then Solo steps in. Why not give The Mega Star his flowers? With everybody saying L A KNIGHT! And hey, hell of a match with the Tribal Chief. Knight says yeah, but uh, Bloodline, huh? Solo says no, he’s not back with them. Knight says it’s okay, Solo doesn’t have to explain, he gets it. Oh. Are they good then? Knight says yeah, they’re good.

Knight heads out, Solo isn’t so sure, but we’ll just have to wait and see. What will Knight do now that his plans for the future haven’t panned out?

Byron Saxton is backstage.

Byron waits outside the trainer’s room, where Stephanie Vaquer is reportedly being treated for an ankle injury from Saturday. We don’t know how long the evaluation- Oh, Vaquer steps out, and has crutches. Byron asks Vaquer how she’s doing. Vaquer says she’ll be okay. Well, that’s good. But then Byron must ask, what is her reaction to losing the WWE Women’s World Championship at MITB? Vaquer says yeah, she knows, she picked the Triple Threat. She did not expect this to happen, and she is very disappointed, but every time she loses, she comes back stronger. She’ll do that again this time, because-

Becky Lynch steps in. Stronger, huh? Vaquer says no, she doesn’t wanna talk to Becky! Becky says if Vaquer wants to talk getting stronger, well done on losing the world title back to Liv. Becky made sure that Vaquer won the title, but Vaquer made it so they both lost it. Vaquer says Liv would have beat Becky if Vaquer hadn’t come out there last week! Vaquer did Becky a favor. Becky says the only thing Vaquer did was show us who she is! Vaquer lost that Triple Threat, Becky didn’t. Vaquer says after MITB, Vaquer does not respect Becky anymore. This ankle injury is nothing, just a few days off. But listen to her: She does not need to be champion to kick Becky’s ass.

Becky says don’t wait too long, she’ll be ready. Tensions are high between The Man and La Primera, but when and where will these two fight it out in hopes of going after Liv once more?

The ref misses the chair, but Nima DECKS Solo! Nima talks trash on Solo, ROCKS him again, but then Jey DIVES! Direct hit into barriers! Jey & Solo mug Nima, Price is after then, but Jimmy goes up!? WHISPER IN THE WIND!! Down goes everybody! The fans are thunderous while Raw goes picture in picture.

The Bloodline and 946 stir, and Solo is already crawling away to the ring. Jimmy puts Price in, then CHOPS! And CHOPS! Price staggers but Jimmy UPPERCUTS! Jimmy whips, Price reverses, but Jimmy grabs ropes. Jimmy BOOTS Price, Price distracts the ref, and Royce KENDO STICK SMACKS Jimmy! How Royce got away with it, no idea! Price LARIATS Jimmy down! Royce then tags in, and 946 mugs Jimmy. Royce stalks Jimmy to the corner, stomps away on him, then tags Nima. Nima BLASTS Jey just because! Nima then taunts Jimmy, ROCKS him, and talks trash. Nima stalks Jimmy to ropes, then CHOKES him!

The ref counts, Nima steps off at 4, but Price BOOTS Jimmy! Jimmy flounders, but Nima is after him in a corner. Nima whips Jimmy hard into the corner! Jimmy falls, Nima tags Price, and OTM mugs Jimmy while Raw returns to single picture. The mugging continues, but Jimmy fights back! Nima KNEES low, CLUBS Jimmy down, then talks more trash. Nima stalks Jimmy, drags him up, and he wrenches to knuckle lock. Nima goes up, up, and FLYING STOMPS Jimmy down! Nima then BLASTS Jey again! Solo is furious but Nima goes back to Jimmy. Nima POSTS Jimmy, and Jimmy falls out of the ring.

Jimmy and Jey crawl to each other, and Jey helps his brother. But Price goes out to THROW Jey into the apron! Jey falls in a heap, Nima talks trash on Solo, and Nima gets Jimmy back in the ring. Nima tags Royce, Royce JABS and ROCKS Jimmy again and again! The ref counts, Royce tags Price, and Price runs up to LARIAT! The fans boo as Price lets Jimmy fall. 946 soaks up the heat, and Price mocks The Bloodline by lifting his finger to the sky. Price stands Jimmy up to stare him down, but he blocks a kick! But Jimmy spins to DRAGON WHIP! The fans fire up as Jimmy and Price crawl! Hot tag to Royce and he CLOBBERS Solo first!

Royce CLOBBERS Jey, too! Then he SPLASHES Jimmy in a corner! The fans boo but Royce soaks up the heat. Jaida talks some trash, too, then Royce tags Price. Price tags Nima, and OTM drags Jimmy up. Nima says this is just too easy. OTM double cradle Jimmy for the swing into the torture rack! But Jey makes the save! SUPERKICK for Price! Nima ROCKS Jey! Jimmy SUPERKICKS Nima! Price DECKS Jimmy! Jey SUPERKICKS Price again! Then Jey dodges Nima to SPEAR! The fans fire up while Usos and OTM are down! Royce is frustrated, especially as Solo rises up! Solo reaches out, Jimmy crawls, hot tags to Solo and Royce!

The fans are thunderous as Solo LARIATS Royce! And LARIATS again! Solo whips, Royce KICKS, but Solo just fires up! Solo fireman’s carries to SAMOAN DROP! The fans fire up for Solo, and he runs corner to corner to BACK BODY BLOCK! Solo hears Royce fall down, and Solo smiles as he looks over. Solo says this your warning shot, PEW PEW PEW! HIP ATTACK!! Nima runs up on Solo, but Solo TOSSES him out! Nima still trips Solo up!

Nima POSTS Solo! Jimmy FLYING LARIATS Nima! Price is up, he blocks a kick, and he clinches Jimmy! APRON URENAGE! But Jey is up! BLAOW! SUPERKICK! Price staggers around, Jey helps Jimmy up, and they DOUBLE SUPERKICK! Price staggers, so The Usos DUMP him into the crowd! But Nima DOUBLE LARIATS The Usos over! The fans fire up as OTM and Usos brawl right in front of them! It’s looking like Saturday in New Orleans with them brawling through the crowd! Nima SMASHES Jey with a trash can! Price helps haul Jey up, and now things are moving up the bleachers! But now Royce is clearing the desk!

The Usos fight back but Jimmy gets a trash can for his troubles! Royce CLOBBERS Solo with steel steps! Then Royce places the steps near the desk. Wait, Jey is up on top of the vomitorium! Jey aims, and he SUPER CROSBODIES onto OTM!! The fans are going nuts as those four men are down on the outside! Jey helps Jimmy rise up, and “This is Awesome!” as OTM is trying to crawl away. Wait, JAIDA is up on the vomitorium!? Miss Parker SUPER CROSSBODIES The Usos!! Miss Parker really don’t play! But Royce has Solo up, fires HEADBUTT after HEADBUTT, then aims for the desk! The fans boo, but Royce guzels Solo!

Royce tells Solo this is what he gets for choosing the wrong ones! Ain’t nobody- NO, Solo ELBOWS Royce! SAMOAN DROP down through the desk!! The fans are going nuts again as Solo drags Royce up and shoves him back into the ring! Solo goes up, up, and FLYING SOLO!! Solo powers up the thumb! Solo drags Royce to his feet, and tells him that he warned him! But then who is this with a crowbar?! This guy CLOBBERS Solo from behind! WAIT! THAT’S CARMELO HAYES?!? Royce nods as he and H1M stand tall! Royce sets Solo up for Melo to CLOBBER with the crowbar! Royce then whips for the ULTIMATE SPINEBUSTER!!

Jimmy is back but Melo & Royce mug him! The fans boo but they also mug Jey! OTM returns, they go after Usos, and now that 946 is even stronger, they set Jimmy up for a CROWBAR SHOT! And then Melo CLUBS Jimmy’s arm with the crowbar!! The fans boo as now Jey is brought over! Melo lines up the shot, CROWBAR SHOT!! And then a SHOT to the arm!! The fans boo as hard as they can but there’s nothing that can be done! 946 get Jimmy back up, OTM says PAID IN FULL!! Jey reaches out for his brother, but Royce drags him up. “You tell Roman Reigns, ain’t nobody safe!” A chair is brought in, but just so Royce can take a seat.

Royce taps his wrist like there’s a watch, saying it is only a matter of time. 946 stands tall, having demolished Solo & The Usos. Is there nothing to stop them from taking down even the Tribal Chief?

My Thoughts:

A great Raw to follow up Money in the Bank, and it would seem some of those head-scratching decisions from MITB have to do with them wanting Crown Jewel to have star power. Roman retains so we can build Roman VS Sami, which is a pretty good story given their history, and we already got interaction from Chelsea Green with Judgment Day. Though, if Tiffany Stratton is legit hurt after everything that happened at MITB (which wouldn’t be a surprise), it only amplifies how Roxanne Perez should’ve been Miss MITB instead. Though, with them cheating to give Roxie the win over Chelsea, and how that potentially sets up Chelsea VS Roxie for the title before Crown Jewel, I cannot be sure how they’re playing this.

Good promo from Iyo with Roxie & Raquel, that definitely sets up Iyo VS Raquel for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and who knows who wins that with how Judgment Day always backs itself up. A little surprised we didn’t get a promo from JD McDonagh and Dom considering JD and Joe Hendry are still feuding. But also, good promo from Lyra with Bayley standing there, MENACINGLY~! Bayley and Lyra are definitely going to push each other emotionally in promos until they get into a brawl that compels their blowoff match.

Very good promo from Penta, and having a custom briefcase with pyro in it is awesome. Evans being here to congratulate Penta, only to then be Bron’s victim, that definitely means Bron and Penta will feud while Penta bides his time on the cash-in. Great promo from Oba with Heyman, and I had a feeling Heyman would consider recruiting Oba. Naturally, Oba says no, good stuff there. I still feel like Heyman’s next “Paul Heyman Guy” should be Heel Cody Rhodes with how Cody’s been hinting at Heyman here and there. A little surprised we didn’t get more of The Vision here, because Oba’s gonna have to wait until after Crown Jewel for his shot at Roman.

Very good match from Rey Mysterio VS Big Cass, and Dragon Lee tipping the scales was certainly a fitting Face cheat given Cass always blindsiding his targets. I feel like we’re getting a 2v1 Handicap, even though that’s really odd when it’s the Faces outnumbering the Heel. Gable VS Fenix was awesome, just like Gable VS Dragon Lee a couple weeks ago. A little surprised Ethan didn’t interfere at some point, but I guess he was content to wait until after to mock the loser, which ended up being Fenix. Gable saving Fenix from Ethan was good stuff, and they just need to say when and where for Ethan VS Gable, which will most definitely be as awesome as tonight.

And very good stuff with The Bloodline and 946. LA Knight was of course feeling down, matching the fans’ energy after MITB. There is definitely tension building between Knight and Solo, Knight not getting involved in the main event kinda adds to that. Great Six Man Tag that was more like a Street Fight in the end. I did not think Melo would be joining 946 given how Trick is US Champion and they could have done much more with Trick and Melo. But in the end, 946 getting a fourth man is definitely for the sake of WarGames. Roman, Solo, Jimmy, Jey, and a returning Jacob against 946, and then there’s a twist on who the fifth man is. Maybe Jacob turns, maybe Solo turns, maybe Knight turns, but it’ll be a lot of fun either way.

My Score: 8.8/10
