Top 5: Gimmick Matches That Seemed Good on Paper
3. Empty Arena

This match goes to show how much a crowd can elevate a match. The match typically turns into a brawl and ends up outside the arena anyway, which negates the whole premise. In all honesty, the matches themselves aren’t the worst, but it is the lack of fan involvement that hinders them. There is a reason we don’t see these matches too often. If we had been more well received we could be looking at brand exclusive PPVs surrounding having no fans in attendance.
