Neville Update On WWE Return

Neville hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since back in October. We did an article yesterday, regarding talks opening back uo. Also that the talks are with HHH and not with Vince McMahon.

We have an update on the situation to share with you.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer says that talks are in fact back open between Neville and WWE. Also that HHH appears to be the point man.

Meltzer says that if they are able to work things out, the current timeframe would be an April return. This would align perfectly for a post Wrestlemania return and a nice surprise for fans.

Neville’s contract is currently frozen since he is not performing. This is similar to what happened with Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio in the past according to Meltzer. This means that time isn’t currently ticking off his contract and he is still commited to whatever time is left.

My Thoughts:

Neville can be a huge asset to WWE. Maybe not as a mega star but as a great hand that can be used on 205 Live a the face of the division or a midcard utility player. His change in demeanor and character took him to a new level. With HHH in charge, he knows Neville’s worth and maybe willing to do more with him than Vince. This could very well be the driving force to talks opening back up between the two sides. Again it appears that everthing that HHH touches turns to gold, or in this case red, as in red arrow.
