WWE Scouting Women’s Wrestlers
Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE was out scouting Women’s talent at the SHIMMER event WrestleMania weekend. WWE is looking for talent to compete in the Mae Young Classic tournament, as well as future signings.
According to Meltzer, Tessa Blanchard was said to be the standout and high on the radar. Meltzer also says that Mae Young Classic participant Jazzy Gabert is looking to make one last attempt at a WWE deal in October. Gabert is currently injured and will be clear for an October return.
WWE offered Gabert a deal however it was rescinded due to medical issues. It was found that Gabert had neck issues that WWE red flagged.
