WWE Smackdown Live Weekly YouTube Report (4/19/18)
Smackdown Live is only a two hour show and tends not to have the numbers Raw does. A good base number for Smackdown Live is 400k views. Anything that is given time, story and purpose should post atleast 400k views. Let’s take a look at the highest viewed clips of the week from Smackdown Live:
- Jeff Hardy joins Smackdown Live: 2.9 million views
- Jey Uso vs. Luke Harper: 2 million views
- Daniel Bryan/A.J. Styles vs. Rusev/Aiden English: 1.2 million views
- Asuka joins Team Blue: 1.1 million views
- Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin: 1 million Views
- Big Cass Confronts Daniel Bryan: 1 million Views
- Samoa Joe debuts on Smackdown Live: 974k views
The big winner this week is clearly Jeff Hardy. WWE has a major star in Jeff Hardy, again. He not only did over 2 million views on Raw but in total did an additional 3.9 million views on Smackdown Live. This name needs to be watched as if he keeps posting 1 million plus every segment then you can make an arguement he is on Roman Reigns level of popularity.
Also something that should be taken notice of is Jey Uso and Luke Harper. Something that I always take into consideration is the thumbnail picture WWE decides to use. WWE chose to use Naomi sitting in front of Jey begging off Harper and Rowan. If you want proof of the demographic that looks at these here it is. This video did 2 MILLION views or double Daniel Bryan and A.J. Styles this week. They also had a non televised backstage segment do over 500k views or 5x what Elias did for a televised segment. Do not mistake what I’m saying, I’m not saying Jey or Luke should be in the main event, I’m saying people watched this because of the REALITY of the situation. WWE needs to utilize Total Divas storylines and real life relationships to help superstars. This was the most interesting thing I saw from YouTube numbers this week.
I would have liked to see Miz and The Bar do better numbers on their announcements. Granted they were televised they are backstage segments where the descriptions didn’t drive a strong reason to click. Other than that yet again Smackdown has done another great job on YouTube.

WWE RAW Ticket Sales Lag in Omaha as Show Heads to CHI Health Center
WWE RAW takes place tonight at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, and ticket sales are hovering just under a sellout, with 8,347 of 9,174 tickets sold and roughly 827 remaining — numbers that could be absorbed by walk-up buyers. That figure is well below the promotion’s previous stop in the building (11,606 tickets on 5/5/2025) and the year-to-date Raw average of 11,900, meaning even a full house tonight would still land more than 2,500 seats shy of recent averages.
The show’s announced card features a Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu contract signing for Backlash, the continuation of the Oba Femi Open Challenge, Je’Von Evans & Penta vs. Rusev & Ethan Page, JD McDonagh vs. Finn Bálor, a sit-down between Asuka and IYO SKY ahead of Backlash, and the recent signing of Sol Ruca to Raw. With tonight’s attendance shaping up lower than typical this year, the creative build and walk-up interest will be key factors in turning this into a strong live crowd.
