Last night’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling featured the debut of Rich Swann, plus Madison Rayne defeated Tessa Blanchard in the main event in addition to two matches announced for Slammiversary and the return of former Knockouts Champion Allie.

Last week’s episode of IMPACT brought in a rating of 0.06 (262,000 viewers), while this week’s episode stayed steady at 0.06 (despite having 254,000 viewers). Compare this to the season finales of both Jersery Shore: Family Vacation and Ex On The Beach on MTV, which brought in a 0.94 and 0.49 respectively. Jersey Shore was #1 in the 18-49 demographic with 1.624 million viewers.

Last week’s episode was ranked #128 on the Cable Top 150 while last night’s show came in at #125 in the Cable Top 150.

Here is the breakdown of viewership for the month of June:

June 7th Episode: 296,000 viewers
June 14th Episode: 276,000 viewers
June 21st Episode: 262,000 viewers
June 28th Episode: 254,000 viewers

Ja’ Von’s Take: This is surprising to me because when you look at the ratings from Showbuzz, they are the same from last week, but this week was the lowest viewership going back to mid-December of last year. Rich Swann made his debut and we saw the return of former Knockouts Champion Allie making the save for Madison Rayne. With all of this going on, you would think that the viewership would spike a little bit. Overall, the show did feel underwhelming last night and wasn’t one of the stronger episodes since the post-Redemption show. Don’t forget to check out my YouTube Report tomorrow maybe things could turn around that way for Impact after a record year low in viewership.
