Impact News: This Week’s Viewership For Impact Wrestling (6/7/18)

This week’s episode of Impact Wrestling comes off the heels of the Under Pressure special from last week. The episode featured a Tag Team Championship Match and Sami Callihan vs Eddie Edwards in the woods.

This week’s episode brought in 296,000 viewers this is up from last week’s Under Pressure that brought in 283,000.

This week’s episode was ranked #119 on the cable top 150 while last week’s Under Pressure was #107.

Impact Wrestling this week was up against some big competition such as the Stanley Cup Finals, Sean Hannity, and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Once again, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was #1 in the 18-49 demographic while the Stanley Cup averaged in a little over 6 million viewers.

Here is the viewership for the last four shows:

May 17th Episode: 326,000 viewers
May 24th Episode: 263,000 viewers
May 31st Episode: 283,000 viewers (Under Pressure episode)
June 7th Episode: 296,000 viewers

Ja’ Von’s Take: This is great news for Impact since they were up against some heavy hitters in television. With the Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards blood feud looking to continue, I think we will see an increase in viewers over the weeks to come as we see what’s in store next for them and everyone involved. When looking at it, it seems that the upstart team of Z & E are clicking with the fans. The best thing going for Impact at the moment is still Sami and Eddiethough, and I think it was a great idea for them to extend it.
