9. His First WWE Title

The answer was an emphatic yes. At SummerSlam Brock beat the Rock to become the youngest WWE champion in history. Having watched the match recently I highly recommend it. It’s only 13 minutes but so much happens in that time you don’t notice it. It’s not a squash but they do everything they can to make Brock look strong.

This would be followed by a feud with the Undertaker which further established him as a main event player.

8. Being Screwed by Paul Heyman

Now this is a moment that gave more of a dimension to Lesnar’s character. Up until this point was the stereotypical unbeatable big man. After being betrayed by Paul heyman and screwed out of the WWE Championship Brock know had a purpose. Brock for the first time had to battle from underneath as he wasn’t the bigger man against Big Show. Fans could invest in Lesnar’s pursuit of Heyman and Show rooting for him to get his hands on them.

It allowed Brock to prove he could work as a face as well as a heel. It didn’t last long and a year later Lesnar was back to being a heel.
