IMPACT Wrestling continued down the road to their July PPV Slammiversary. This week’s episode had a must-see match between Rich Swann and Fenix, two more matches confirmed for Slammiversary, plus a civil war on the horizon for LAX. With all of this and more, how was the viewership for this week’s edition of IMPACT on Pop?

IMPACT this week bounced back from their record low viewership last week and drew in 304,000 viewers. IMPACT Wrestling was also ranked #96, while they were ranked #125 last week on the Cable Top 150 for the 18-49 demographic. The #1 program for the night was a replay of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War on TNT, which brought in 1.473 million viewers.

Here is the breakdown of the last four shows:

June 14th Episode: 276,000 viewers
June 21st Episode: 262,000 viewers
June 28th Episode: 254,000 viewers
July 5th Episode: 304,000 viewers

Ja’ Von’s Take: This is huge for IMPACT Wrestling, as we saw their viewership began to decline after the May 17th episode. Last week’s episode was a new low for them this year and was the lowest viewed episode since mid-December of last year. This week’s viewership is the first to break over 300K since the May 17th episode of IMPACT. Another piece of great news to come out of this week’s viewership is the fact that IMPACT was ranked much higher on the Cable Top 150 this week. I think this is the first time that I have seen them ranked anywhere above 100 or more. With Slammiversary less than two weeks away on July 22nd, the card is beginning to shape up nicely with six matches already announced. IMPACT seems to be on the upswing again and are moving full speed ahead to Slammiversary.
