WWE News: Stephanie McMahon Returning On Monday For ‘Historic Announcement’

It’s been a few months now since we last saw the Commissioner of Monday Night RAW Stephanie McMahon on WWE television after an altercation with Ronda Rousey on the red brand back in April. On-screen, Stephanie has been mentioned almost weekly by her “appointed” Constable, Baron Corbin, giving one of Stephanie’s WrestleMania 34 opponents, General Manager Kurt Angle, some checks and balances.

Today, WWE has announced via Twitter that Stephanie will return this coming Monday when RAW rolls into Cincinnati, Ohio to make what’s being called a “historic announcement”:

BREAKING: Commissioner @StephMcMahon will appear LIVE this Monday on #RAW to deliver a historic announcement!

The last time Stephanie made a “historic announcement” was the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match, leading to speculation that she will again break ground for the Women’s Division. Recently, we saw WWE’s TLC pay-per-view moved from October to December, taking the place of the previously announced Clash Of Champions (find that here). Shortly after, rumors surfaced that the company was looking into possibly holding an all-women’s pay-per-view (check that out here), which is the obvious conclusion some have reached for Monday’s announcement.

There is also currently speculation that Stephanie’s announcement could be regarding Universal Champion Brock Lesnar or even the introduction of Women’s Tag Team Titles.
