Major League Wrestling returns to Fort Lauderdale, Florida next Thursday, September 6th at the War Memorial Auditorium for War Games, in addition to an MLW Fusion television taping for beIN Sports. On top of all the already announced action, a new match has been added today as MLW has revealed that ‘Bad Boy’ Joey Janela will go one-on-one with ‘Filthy’ Tom Lawlor:

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – What happens when the Bad Boy fights the filthiest fighter in the sport? Wrestling fans will find out next Thursday as “Bad Boy” Joey Janela vs. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor has been signed for Fort Lauderdale as cameras roll at the at MLW WAR GAMES® at Fort Lauderdale’s War Memorial Auditorium.

The super card will also feature a FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

“Filthy” Tom Lawlor sent shockwaves through Major League Wrestling winning the first-ever Battle Riot® this past July in New York City where he outlasted 39 other men to earn a World Championship Title Fight anytime anywhere. Since then, Lawlor has been coy about when he plans to cash in.  

This encounter will prove to be a challenge for Lawlor as he faces the wildly unpredictable and unorthodox grappler from the Jersey Shore in Joey Janela.  The Bad Boy has had his issues with new World Middleweight Champion MJF and his new valet Aria Blake.
