WWE News: Paige Announces Women’s Tag Team Match For SmackDown Live

Last week on WWE’s SmackDown Live, many fans were quite displeased with the return of Charlotte Flair after some time off following surgery (read about that here), not necessarily due to her return, but because she now will be a part of the SmackDown Women’s Title match at SummerSlam. After saving Becky Lynch, the number one contender, from a beat down by SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella, General Manager Paige put Flair in a match with the champion where if she won, she would be places into the picture at SummerSlam.

Of course, Charlotte picked up the victory and now Carmella will defend her title against both Flair and Becky in a Triple Threat on August 19th. As the week continued on, Charlotte and ‘The Lass Kicker’ would begin to trade barbs not with each other, but with SmackDown Live’s duo of Billie Kay and Peyton Roycs, The IIconics.

General Manager Paige took notice of the social media sparring and today has announced that Charlotte and Becky will team up tomorrow night on the blue brand as they take on Billie and Peyton:
