IMPACT Wrestling’s Sami Callihan has certainly been no stranger to controversy this year, which of course began with a botched spot on IMPACT when Eddie Edwards accidentally was struck in the face by a baseball bat.

Since then, the leader of oVe has taken advantage of all the controversy that caused, becoming very vocal on social media and earning the ire of fans and some fellow performers alike over the course of 2018. Friday night was no different, as ‘The DRAW’ competed for AAW Pro in Chicago, Illinois against Jimmy Jacobs. During the match, the two went for a spot in which Callihan placed Jacobs under a stage riser and a stack of plastic chairs. However, somebody from the venue’s management, the Logan Memorial Auditorium, did not appreciate what Callihan was aiming to do and got on the microphone to instruct Sami not to use the venue’s chairs.

Apparently, building management was so upset over what Callihan aimed to do that they had him removed from the building by security, including off-duty police officers. Unfortunately for Sami, he was under the impression it was all a work and got into a scuffle with security until one threatened to use their firearm. Callihan was eventually removed peacefully, however the incident also nearly led to AAW Pro being completely thrown out of the venue. In the end, cooler heads would prevail and AAW would work it out with the venue so that the show could continue.

Following the incident, Sami took to Twitter with the following:
