WWE News: SmackDown Women’s Title Match Now Official For Hell In A Cell

After their friendship fell apart over the SmackDown Women’s Championship back at SummerSlam on August 19th, each week on SmackDown Live has seemingly seen the issues between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch become more and more personal.

Two weeks ago, Becky attacked ‘The Queen’ from behind after a successful title defense against Carmella and then last week, ‘The Lass Kicker’ struck once again when Charlotte’s back was turned. The back-and-forth between the former friends has also remained heated on Twitter as well, the two trading barbs over the weekend with talk of a clash at Hell In A Cell on September 16th. With the ladies set for an interview tonight on SmackDown Live, General Manager Paige made sure it wouldn’t break down, forcing them to be completely separated for it to ensure there would be no physical altercation.

During the discussion, the cheap shots continued, however Charlotte finally stated that they would go one-on-one at Hell In A Cell with our announce team later revealing that it was in fact official.
