EVOLVE News: Kassius Ohno Making His EVOLVE Return, Mustafa Ali’s Opponents

As we noted a couple of weeks back, WWE 205 Live Superstar Mustafa Ali has been announced for EVOLVE Wrestling’s upcoming events in Detroit on November 9th and Chicago on November 10th (see the story here).

The appearances would not only mark Mustafa’s first for EVOLVE, but another page in the working relationship between the promotion and WWE. While we didn’t know who Ali would be facing at each of these dates, today WWE has announced that he will go one-on-one against DJ Z in Detroit and Darby Allin in ‘The Windy City’.

Additionally, NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno, who has previously appeared for EVOLVE while under a WWE contract, has been announced by WWE to be making his return to EVOLVE on December 15th in Queens, New York and December 16th in Deer Park. On top of that, Ohno will be the guest at a WWN Tryout taking place in Long Island, also on December 16th. At this time, Kassius’ opponents have yet to be revealed.

Lastly, it looks like NXT Superstars The Street Profits may be heading to EVOLVE in the future after EVOLVE Tag Team Champions Chris Dickinson and Jaka put out an open challenge for their titles. This would lead to Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins responding with a social media dispute to follow, but currently nothing has been confirmed.
