WWE News: Another Champion vs. Champion Match Added To Survivor Series
Although WWE’s next big event is coming up this Friday with Crown Jewel, it’s only a couple more weeks after that until the annual November tradition, Survivor Series.
This year’s event that will be preceded by NXT TakeOver: War Games will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and last night on RAW, we learned of the first match for the card as it was revealed RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey would go one-on-one for the first time ever against SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Previously, there had been reports that this year’s Survivor Series wouldn’t be so much focused on brand vs. brand as it has the past two years, but this seemed to be an indication otherwise.
Tonight on SmackDown Live as United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura took on R-Truth, we learned there would be another such match as Nakamura would face off for the first time against RAW’s Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins. This is the second year in a row the United States Champion has faced the Intercontinental Champion at Survivor Series after Baron Corbin (US Title) defeated The Miz (IC Title) last year.

Post-WrestleMania WWE Raw Draws Highest Viewership of 2026 So Far
The post-WrestleMania edition of WWE Raw delivered a significant ratings boost, drawing the highest viewership totals for Raw in 2026 to date. The strong audience was widely expected following the momentum from WrestleMania.
The uptick highlights the continued power of WWE’s flagship events to lift weekly ratings and gives Raw momentum heading into the spring television season. WWE will aim to sustain that interest in the coming weeks.

Paul Wight Reveals Weight Loss, Sets Sights on 350 Pounds
Standing seven feet tall and a veteran of WWE and AEW, Paul Wight told TalkSport before AEW’s All In at Wembley that he’s down to “only 383 (pounds) now” and is aiming to “get down to about 350.” The 54-year-old noted the progress on his transformation, saying “we’re doing good” as he continues to trim weight.
Wight also joked about a new career goal of modeling for Calvin Klein’s big-and-tall line, quipping about the brand’s sizing. Earlier this year he discussed different weight figures, including reaching 293 pounds in February 2026, and has said he’s dropped roughly 20 pounds in the past two months; Wight last wrestled in 2024 on the Jericho Cruise and remains a regular on AEW commentary while talking about his future with Chris Van Vliet.
