WWE News: Update On Liv Morgan, Status For Super Show-Down

Coming out of last week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, the talk of the wrestling world revolved around the match that saw The Riott Squad take on Natalya and The Bella Twins after Brie Bella legitimately connected on back-to-back kicks to the head of Liv Morgan (find that story here).

Later, we learned what was all but confirmed in most people’s minds as it was announced that Liv suffered a concussion (read about that here), leaving her status for Super Show-Down this Saturday in question. Of course, Liv and the rest of The Riott Squad are set to square off with RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins, but no changes had been made to the match as of yet.

Today, PWInsider has reported that Liv was back on the road for RAW Live Events over the weekend, but was only in the corner of Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. Instead of Morgan, matches saw Alicia Fox teaming with The Riott Squad to face Rousey and The Bellas.

Currently, there’s still no word on when exactly she will be back in action, however WWE is still advertising her for Super Show-Down, which you can catch live on the WWE Network this Saturday at 5AM EST.

EA’s Take: We all know that concussions are a bit tricky, but I’d imagine Liv will be good to go for Super Show-Down. I mean, maybe she is already, but they’re just giving her extra time. Obviously, the fact that she was even present for Live Events, regardless of her role, is a very good sign that she is at least close and it wasn’t a serious one.
