WWE News: RAW & SmackDown Tag Champions To Battle At Survivor Series

Tonight’s edition of SmackDown Live opened up with our SmackDown General Manager Paige introducing our SmackDown Commissioner and “Best in the World” Shane McMahon, who discussed his controversial decision to put himself into the Finals of the World Cup at Crown Jewel on The Miz’s behalf.

Shane explained that he brought the victory home for SmackDown Live, then turned his attention to Survivor Series where it will be brand versus brand on November 18th. After announcing that Daniel Bryan and The Miz would be the co-captains of the SmackDown Live Men’s Team at Survivor Series, ‘Shane-O-Mac’ would then address the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar.

Last night on RAW, we saw Acting RAW General Manager Baron Corbin force Seth Rollins into defending the RAW Tag Team Titles on his own against AOP, leading to Akam and Rezar becoming the new champions with a little help from Drake Maverick along the way. Therefore, Shane would announce that his champions, Sheamus and Cesaro, will take on the AOP in another champion versus champion match at Survivor Series.
